- After climbing the Alison Pass and staying at the Manning Park Lodge, I rode a short distance to camp at the Mule Deer Campground in EC Manning Park. The following day I climbed the Sunday Summit and made my way into Princeton, BC, where I met Instagram and RUclips friends, Yula and Alex from Our Retired Life ( / ourretiredlife | / our.retired.life . On my way to a recreation site, I was chased by a dog and rode on the Old Hedley Road along the Similkameen River.

“I do it for the downhills”. That would make a great tee shirt design
It would! And now I do it for the views in Ontario. 😉
Sunday Summit on a Sunday woot woot...lol ....I love how much you love life, your videos make me smile. Thanks for sharing your adventures
That song kept me going. I just kept on singing it to help with the climbing. 😉
wow what a journey thank you for sharing your story with us, safe travels! you keep us 50+ inspired to keep riding loving it!
Amazing! Love it that you are inspired to ride. I'm middle aged myself, and it's wonderdul to be active.

Super video Agnieszka! Glad you out-rolled the dog! Love your summit songs! And love how you model self talk encouragement! The views are truly breathtaking! Waiting patiently for the next installment.
Thank you for watching! I make up silly songs to get myself going. The views will only get better.
Perfect.
Amazing, I enjoy your videos a lot. Thanks for sharing. 👏👏👏
Thanks for watching!
Brilliant 👍🏼
Love the video, your positive attitude, and the beautiful and tough realities of cycle touring. Was very fun to watch :)

Love getting you updates! What an adventure with its highs and lows! Keep up the good work.
Thank you and thank you for watching!
love your positivity 😀
Thank you.
Amazing video and ride. Love those less travelled roads by the river. So nice to meet up with other RUclipsrs too. Canada is amazing. Another adventure every time you turn a corner. Keep them coming 👍
Thank you for watching Jorg! I appreciate the comment.
Such fortitude, Agnieszka! Inspiring 🚵🌞
Thank you.
Much improved riding experience for you vs previous. Glad for you. Looking fwd to more.
It was a much better day for sure.
How nice you get to make friends along the way. Watching the cars pass you along the way reminds me how dangerous cycling is. Stay safe, enjoy the views, and thanks for posting.
I've been following their channels for many months so it was amazing to meet Yula and Alex.
Loved your Sunday Summit Song hehe, you're too much fun! It was wonderful to meet you as well, and fun to see ourselves in your video. Thank you ❤
That was one amazing meeting! I can't believe how it all came to be.
Amazing to watch you doing this epic adventure. Curious how far you are at this moment. You should be in the Atlantic Canada by now. I'm in NB and planning my first trip to PEI doing the Confederation Trail.
Looks like another great few days of riding! The thing that I hate the most about biking is actually nothing to do with biking, it's dogs that come off of people's properties and chase after you. It's scary! We have had a few dangerous situations over the years with very agressive dogs. So cool that you got to meet up with some social media friends!
Yes, you are right. Luckily for me this dog did not appear to be aggressive, but rather playful. But dogs that come out charging are never fun to deal with.
Hi Agnieszka. i've watched your channel for some time, enjoyed the product reviews and now your awsome journey. keep up the good work. Cheers From South Gippsland, Australia.
Amazing! Thank you for watching and for this comment. I am glad that the videos are helpful.
Great video!
Thank you!
Merci pour le joli moment passé en ta compagnie . A très bientôt . 😉👍👍
Thank you as well for watching!
@@WheelsonaBike 👍💙
Good asdveture
Signing is definitely a great way to keep the moral up! During my last long ride alone, I decided to put some music on my phone and sing out loud between villages. So fun!
Amazing! Whatever keeps us pedaling, right? 😉
I have a route I take that I have to ride by the same dogs every time. They have invisible fencing so no issues. I make sure I say ''Good Dog'' so they know I'm friendly. The last time I went by I just got a single 'buff'' from one who decided I was no longer dangerous. However I have a red wing black bird that comes after me every time. Safe travels.
That's a good strategy - using the "Good dog" praise to create a positive association with you passing.
Ah those birds! They're territorial! They did chase me in the prairies.
I’m enjoying your rides! I already recommended you to someone interested in Toronto cycle routes, and now I find you’ve met a very old Canadian friend on mine in Marathon! He and I are both subscribers - bonne route from London, but not the one in Ontario…
Hello Lena. Yes! Joe mentioned he had a friend in London who's also a subscriber. What an amazingly small world to have bumped into him. Thank you for watching and for this lovely comment.
Happy Adventures Agnieszka! From Annette
Thank you Annette!
good
Schöne Reise
Thank you.
Thank you, very nice views. I hope you didn't break the speed limit going downhill, no worries if you did, I'll keep it a secret! How many miles do you cover each day and what is the most common predator and/or problems you come across each day? Keep safe and many thanks for sharing your experience with us. I like your video finale
I almost met the minimum speed limit. 😂 I cover anywhere from 25 - 150KM in a day, depending on many factors. The most common issue for me right now is the bugs: black flies and mosquitoes. I have bites all over and it's hard to get rid of them.
Agnieszka the dog whisperer 🎵🎵
😂😂😂 The dog was friendly. I was lucky.
Love the singing and riding!! The best way to get through a summit 😄
Thank you! I do it all the time. I also yell sometimes (in frustration). 😂😂😂
I really like your hi-viz vest you wear. Where could I purchase this? I’m in the UK and having difficulty sourcing this design of vest. Great videos as always!
Thank you. The vest is great and I'm pretty sure I got it years ago at a Canadian outdoors store - MEC, Mountain Equipment Company.
New subscriber. Curious if you can talk about how the wahoo works for iPhone in general and holds a charge and how you recharge it.
I saw the solar panels but as a backpacker I found them not too work well. Maybe diff on a bike on open road. Thanks
I don't have an iPhone, I'm an Android user. I typically charge the Wahoo once a day, at the end of the day using a charger. The panels work quite well, but they take a while and need to have access to full sun to charge optimally. On a bike, it's not an issue as I just ride and as long as there isn't too much shade, I can charge battery packs with no issue. But again, it takes a long time.
Thank you for subscribing!
@@WheelsonaBike Thanks - I guess the trees kill the sun light when hiking.
Ill probably spring for the wahoo. Thanks
How is your seat working out for you (Brooks saddle right)?
It's perfect. No issues. Yes, it's the Brooks B17.
Nice go up hill song, what is the grade % and how many km for Alison pass and Sunday summit ?
The grade % changes. It's not all the same. I have all my ride data on Strava if you're interested in the specifics. I'm Agnieszka Wheels on a Bike on Strava.
@@WheelsonaBike Thanks, but I don't have starva.
I have a free account.

Wow! You’re really doing it! (Or have done it, I assume)
I love your exuberance! If you haven’t already you should check out fly scout rider on RUclips. He also puts out a very nice positive vibe
Love watching Fly Scout Rider! I've been following the channel for a while.
