Becky ! I didn’t realize you had been laid off and were doing RUclips full time! What a treat for the RUclips community , I just love you! You turned lemons into lemonade ❤️
The only potatoes I've ever planted were left over organic potatoes from the market. Cut them in half, threw them all in a big tub w potting soil & got an AMAZING crop AND they overwintered and kept multiplying & got ANOTHER volunteer crop the next year! Easiest 'gardening' I've ever done!
Once saw a recipe for the "Everything but the bagel seasoning". Someone loved it so much that they went through the trouble finding out the racio of ingredients to make it at home. 2 TBs poppy seeds 1 TBs black sesame seeds 1 TBs white sesame seeds 1 TBs + 1 tsp dried minced garlic 1 TBs + 1 tsp dried minced onions 2 tsp flaked sea salt Love your videos!
oh thank you so much for sharing this recipe I appreciate it so very much! I wonder if by that they took a bottle of the seasoning mix in sort it out the seeds and things in it! LOL I may be willing to do that to something I really truly love! or maybe not! LOL
Pro tip💥 The Asterix in the corner of the Costco price signs means that the item is leaving the store. Buy it when you see it or it’s gone until next year maybe forever.
thank you for this trip I did not know that! I can't tell you how many times I have passed it by and thought well I'll get it next time and then you go back and it's gone. thank you very very much
Going to Costco with you has been my most fun Costco trip ever!! My hubby always drags me away from anything interesting but with you I got to see things in detail. So much fun!!!!!! ❤️
Okay, I have to tell you that after I watched your video, I found myself in Costco today and I went to find those bike shorts you were looking at. I found them, bought them, and put on a pair when I got home to walking with my husband. They are very soft and comfortable!! I also bought those gloves. Anyway, I'm so glad I watched this and you took us shopping with you!
I finally bought refrigerator organizers and NEVER regretted it!!! I love how organized you can be, and since they stack nicely, you save space rather than bowls and different sized containers!!!💙
😊😊😊 My husband is listening to her shop from the other room. Chimed in a couple of times while she was looking at garden stuff “so so we need to run to Costco today??” 😂😂 We are in a different season so our garden stuff isn’t in yet. 😉
If you are a bread baker, get the Bosch. It does allow me to make 6 lbs of dough at a time. I've had one for years and years. Otherwise, get the heavy-duty kitchen aid.
Hello Becky. I love your channel. You have such a wonderful bubbly personality. Did you know you could easily make your own potting mix for seed starting by using a big compressed bag of peat moss and a big bag of vermiculite. Ratio of about 3:1. And then sterilize it yourself by pouring boiling water over it. Then when you go to up pot your little seedlings you can add amendments like worm castings or fertilizers. You can save a lot of money by mixing up your own. I know you’re no longer practicing but I too am a dental hygienist that loves to grow my own food. Happy gardening this season. 😃
Jen Joy Can you use perlite? I'm having hard time finding these products now.Im in north Florida and the shipping problem is affecting these products. When I find the " lites " they are in very small bags. Thanks
I love that you are still educating about oral hygiene! I had no idea the oral b's were so cheap at Costco. I will definitely be recommending this to my pt. Love your videos 🦷❤
You asked about the refrigerator bins. I bought a set and have found they really enhance refrigerator storage. First, I use them for holding fresh meat and or meat I have pulled from freezer to thaw. Doing that, I no longer need to worry about drips from packages happening. Next, I use them to hold soda cans and bottles of water. Very helpful to keep drinks from being knocked around in the refrigerator. Finally, I use them to hold fresh produce, Right now, mine is holding celery, cucumbers, peppers. You can see what you have in stock, and pull out the container for prepping. The interior of my refrigerator is so much cleaner now. In addition, I have a lazy susan that holds my pickled condiments. We love different types of pickles, and I can turn them to see which I want. So, feel free to try them. They have also served as pantry organizers and drawer organizers. Very versatile.
Seed potatoes are safer, because they won't have the diseases that you may get by planting organic grocery store potatoes. These are things that won't affect the potatoes you're eating but could cause disease in the growing plants.
Hit the refresh button on the feed at the perfect time! Good morning Becky! Thank you for another video, hope you have a wonderful day, thanks for brightening mine 🌄
I’ll wagon that you pay $100 for is better than a wheel barrel it doesn’t tip you can put 1000 pounds on it and you can put the sides down my grandkids 78 and nine lifted my picnic table and took it down the hill when no one else could lift it
Hi Becky, I love shopping at Costco, too! In response to your question about growing potatoes from store bought organic potatoes, I have done this once before but I would not recommend doing it. While those potatoes grew they were not virus free and all my plants died from a blight virus which can stay in the soil for up to 7 years. Always use certified virus free seed potatoes. (Once you grow these you can save your own seed potatoes.). Lesson learned the hard way… :)
Absolutely love shopping with you. I have never been good at remembering prices & I do know that now & again some stores will fool you into thinking you're getting something on sale when all they did was jack the price higher than normal & you pay the normal (sale) price. I love how you explain items like the Oral B electric toothbrush, the heavy duty pot, etc. Prices & ingredients & ask our opinion. I love learning about these things. Thanks for sharing you with us & have Blessed Day! 🙋♀️🙏💜
Absolutely, the everything but the bagel seasoning. A year ago it was $1.99 at Trader Joe's for a standard seasoning sized bottle. We like it with a little mayo for cole slaw. It works well with butter and quick stir fried garden veggies. Baked potatoes and butter. Lastly, in rice or any Oriental dish.
Yes, that bag is the best bag. We use this all the time for everything. Mostly camping, clothes, groceries, brings stuff to other peoples houses. They are wonderful.
I've got an interesting natural gardening hack that helps with slugs, caffeine as in brewed coffee not grounds. I know grounds are typically used but they work best for the soil once broken down in the compost pile or bin. The best thing to do is to brew your nice strong coffee & once you're done just brew the grounds again. You can then spray or pour it in the soil around your plants. The reason it's so effective is because a 1-2% caffeine solution will repell & kill slugs usually getting rid of them completely within 48 hrs. Brewed coffee generally has a 5% caffeine concentration & you'll get another 2.5% when you brew the grounds a 2nd time. You just keep an eye out for slug activity & if you see any you just repeat which is pretty easy considering most people have coffee every day. It also keeps other pests out just don't spray it directly on foliage or it might keep insects away that you want in your garden.
For the organizers: I only have 1 set from Costco and I use them for specific purposes. I use the smaller ones to hold my eggs and bacon/meat defrosting and I use the larger ones for cheese and cold cuts. I only have the 4 currently because I worry that I will just shove them to the sides rather than use them properly.
For the towels I will load mine up once a month and take them to a laundry mat and bleach them really good. This way it doesn’t mess up my septic system and I am able to keep them white. I also have white sheets.
I have those chimes. It's worth every single penny. They sound so soothing and magical. The amount of time you spend outside I know without a doubt you will fall in love with them.
Yes! You completed your pantry challenge, now is time to shop, and watching this video it's like I'm right there with you shopping, thank you for this video Becky.
If you want some really good towels purchase the My Pillow towels. They're 100% cotton. They are not treated with fabric softener which means they are highly effective in drying off. Hopefully this helps you.
Hey Becky. I just learned that when the Costco signs have that start on it they aren’t reordering that item. So if you want that brazing cast iron pan, you may want to get it now lol
The asterisk at the top is not coming back (sometimes for now). The .97 states it been marked down and will sell faster. If you see .97 better get it while you can.
Hi Becky! Lots of love! You can hang your white towels outside to bleach them - it works great! The sun does it all on it's own if they are just dingy and not totally stained. I was amazed that my babies cloth diapers come out pristine white by hanging them in the sun! Hugs from accross the water on Vancouver Island.
I love my fridge organizers but I got mine off Amazon. I also use mine in my freezer. I make freezer meal and some I freeze flat in ziplock bags. One they're frozen, I stand them up in the organizer so they don't fall and I can stack them standing up.
I do that too, and I also put my shopping bags 🛍 in the clip with my purse. Hangs between the basket and myself, and leaves the upper basket available.
So I recommend the creamy dill salad. I mix in 2 cans of drained tuna, dill pickle relish and your homemade mayo to get the consistency I want. It’s so tasty, you’ll love it if you like dill.
The everything bagel seasoning is amazing! My daughter and I both sprinkle it on our rice. I also put it on salad and on my eggs. And when I make nachos, sometimes we will sprinkle just a little over the nachos. The fridge organizer depends on how you and Josh use the fridge. They would be great for me. I love everything organized and knowing exactly where things are. My husband and daughter just put everything willy nilly and would not use the organizers effectively. I am team Kitchen Aid. I have never used a Bosch. But I used to have a KitchenAid, got it 2nd hand, had it for 10+yrs. Gave it to my friend when I moved bc she needed one and I wasn't baking much anymore. Now I am saving up to buy one again bc my daughter has so many food allergies I am having to make any baked goods for her at home. I have had other brands and they just don't compare.
Ma'am, you can make your own scented laundry soap by adding a few drops of essential oil per load. Double down by adding the oils to white vinegar for fabric softening.
I had organic potatoes that sprouted last year so experimented with planting them in grow bags. Planted them on 4 inches of soil, covered with 6 inches then covered again when the foliage passed the rim of the bag. Trick is to keep them regularly watered. I had a good harvest and no rotten ones except the seed potatoes started to decompos.
I have started using the fridge organizers. I LOVE them! Nothing gets lost in the back anymore. Becky, I so enjoy your videos. You gave me something to look forward to during all this world's craziness. You also have me experimenting with cooking. My husband thanks you.
I use refrigerator bins. Bins prevent items getting lost in the back. I use one for leftovers, fresh meat, pickles, dairy. I can pull out the entire bin to see what I have and what needs to be eaten.
I ALWAYS shop the organic produce section of my store to plant in my garden. I do this with potatoes of all varieties, garlic & yams/sweet potatoes for growing my slips. In fact, I grow my potatoes in old tires. I start them in the center of 1 tire & add soil, then add soil & tires as needed up to 5 tires high. This method makes harvesting so easy. I have grown my sweet potatoes in old coolers & they were fantastic. You harvest them when the plant starts dying. Love your channel. You are just like I was 30 years ago, except I had 2 kids to feed.
I love these videos! One thing I wanted to say is that I have heard from a couple vets that grain free food for dogs isn’t great for them, primarily concerning their hearts. Just something I thought you might want to look Into. Also the refrigerator organizers are quite handy for corralling smaller jars/packages.
Yeah, I'll never know if that caused my dog to die possibly sooner than she may have. Her heart gave out at age 10. This was a few years ago before I was hearing warnings about grain free dog food. I won't feed it to my pets again.
@@redinthethevalley yes, the previous owner fed her Pedigree dry food. I think it ruined her stomach. Corn is okay for animals that are slaughtered young but I don't think it's good for dogs or cats at all.
I enjoy the fridge organizers so much. I pull out just one get out what I want and put it back without having to rummage through the whole fridge. My individual bins don’t always look completely organized, but my fridge as a whole does. Hope that makes sense. Also, if you’re interested in trying new wines Trader Joe’s is a great place to go.
It’s so weird watching a US Costco shopping trip - looks exactly the same as one in Australia (in terms of layout) except that we have way more Asian food options. I just bought a pair of those grey pots to transplant my blueberry bushes into as we are going into winter and the poor things have outgrown their current homes.
@@mrsemc: the mince beef is good if you have a way to freeze it. Also, the toilet paper and dish washing tablets. I also like to get their pre-made salads and sandwich platters if I’m having people over because it just makes life simple.
@Roz Woods | Brisbane North West I'm also shopping at North Lakes! I've started a Google Spreadsheet to compare prices at Coles, Costco, and Super Butcher (I buy online, they do free delivery over $200). I have a deep freezer so I can buy in bulk with no problems. I'll have to give the roast chicken a go. Thanks :)
Hi Becky, just wanted to mention since you like white towels but can't use bleach with your septic system - please try oxiclean! I went to culinary art school and oxiclean kept my chef whites brilliant white, even after getting blood, chocolate, wine, and all manner of food stains on them. I'd add a generous amount of oxiclean to the water with my jackets, pants and aprons, and stir it up until it was mostly dissolved. The next morning (or a few hours later), I'd just pop the whole bucket into the wash after pouring out the excess water. Worked like a charm. Other students were using bleach and their whites were yellowing by the end of the year. I always pre-soaked my whites, either in the washing machine or in a big bucket.
Becky! Hello from England! I absolutely love your channel. You’ve inspired me to do my own version of the pantry challenge! Keep up the good work, I look forward to your videos every day! Xx
The Bosch is the best ever! I've had mine for 30 years...best ever purchase!! I love how the motor is under the machine or to the side and doesn't get in the way of pouring things in. It also mixes a tone of whole grain dough!
I just love you, your personality & your videos!!! Be grateful you have all that energy!! I’m 60 & definitely slowing down!!! Yes on bike shorts!! You are young & look good on anything specially for yoga or working around the garden!!!
I’ve been waiting for the grocery hauls! I don’t know why they are so addictive lol. Am I the only person that noticed how EMPTY the store was?? Where are all the people? At my local Costco, there are always so many people, it’s hard to move, let alone stop and browse or film a video! I’m soooo jealous😉
I was thinking that exact thing!! Our Costco in Michigan is always packed. Even before the times we are in now. You can barely get down an isle without saying excuse me 10 times. I would never be able to video in ours
I was watching older harvest videos, in the comment section were a lot of people that recommended planting rooted potatoes. It was the last garden harvest before winter video. They said it works better and faster than planting slips. Hope that helps!
Love the collapsible laundry bags. We set up a heavy duty plastic shelf in the laundry area and use them for clean folded laundry. Each child has their own and they can easily bring them up themselves. Makes laundry much easier now.
Garlic peeling tip: put the cloves in a bowl. Put another bowl about the same size upside down over the top and shake like crazy. The skins will just separate and fall off!
I do this too. Then put the peeled garlic in a canning jar and cover with olive oil. Put in refrigerator. Use as needed and oil as a lovely garlic taste when used in dishes.
I did sprout organic potatoes last year and potted them! They were great! I just bought 4 bags of organic potatoes and have started sprouting them for this years planting!
I'll second that! Only I haven't bought it at Costco - It's been at my discount grocery store lately for $1.99 or 3 for $5 (for the 2 bag pack). I couldn't pass it up + it's really good!
Love my Bosch! Just juiced and frozen orange juice and lemon juice for the year The citrus attachment for the Bosch is the best on the market because of the Bosch motor
I love the plastic refrig storage containers. I have arthritis and it helps me to get to things easy. I have a small refrig. I bought two clear rectangle bins that fit perfect in my small freezer. One for veges and one for meat and fish. Under the one shelf I use rubbermaid food holders the size old lazana pans for individual wrapped porkchops and split breasts and pork ribs. In the frig one the first shelf I have long narrow bins across the whole shelf...one for jellies, one for condiments, pickled onions ,hot peppers, pickels, sour cream . Second shelf I have a circular spinning thingys to hold the large artichoke jars and the herring and my fermented veges. Two egg holders and another big light weight bin for my insulin. From Walmart I have a drawer that attaches to the shelf above for cold cuts. I precut carrts and celery and they share a cheap plastic rectangle. I stack a few of them with salade greens. Botton shelf from target not meant for food but it holds my weeks worth of celery, carrot zuchini, cucumbers, asparagus etc. as one of vege drwaer is full of ADLI cheeses, american cheeses cream cheese, Licettli and the other holds nuts. all the containers help me fit tons more in my frig as well as giving me access to all. I no longer waste anything.
Hey, Becky! I'm growing "store bought" potatoes right now in 9B! Also, I found Ramen and Pho noodles recently at Aldi's! I was so excited to find it! Have a great day!
I have had a septic tank for the last 40 years and I bleach all my whites and all my family underwear regardless of color. I have never had any trouble with the septic tank. I too love Ecos brand detergent, only with the lavender scent. I am not familiar with the powdered detergent you mentioned but a lot of them used to have fillers added. I hate the plastic bottle but you have to choose your battles.
I only go down the grocery side when I go to Costco! Haha. Unless I specifically want to buy batteries or a small appliance, I don't even go on that side, mostly to avoid impulse buying. I already know I don't NEED any of those things. I tend to buy the same things over and over. I do browse groceries looking for good deals and buy when I find them.
@Amy Ketterhagen - if I could do a hundred thumbs up, I would. Debt-free life-style, yes!! We ALL talk ourselves into things when we see the nice new colors for this year, or something that "would come in so handy."
I bought containers from the dollar store to use in my fridge and pantry. They probably aren't as sturdy as the Costco ones, but you could try them to see if the idea works for you before investing in the Costco ones.
I love my kitchen aid and I love all the attachments I have to go with it! Also when you get a new food saver look into the attachment that lets you use mason jars and vacuum seal them it’s awesome.
My dad had a 100 rose bush garden. He had all varieties and they were his hobby. He said if you get one rose bush, buy more cause the upkeep is easier for more than one.
I have 2 sets of those clear bins but don't use them for the fridge. I leave them out, lined up, on our snack counter. And they keep all the granola bars, chip bags, oatmeal packets, etc nice and tidy! They are pricey for a set of 4... but have been useful!
I planted organic two bite potatoes and they did great! I put them under a grow light to get them to sprout a little faster and I had a really good harvest!
I just did my Sams club haul today and you’re so right. It just sucks you in. You really have to be careful. LOL. One thing I LOVE about my Sams is their ‘scan and go’ feature. Don’t have to get checked out just grab it scan it and bye Felicia 👍🏻
I love the clear plastic containers. They’re a game changer for me in my fridge and in my snack storage areas to keep everything organized and avoid stuff getting shoved to the back. I didn’t like the stacked ones, though because it was a pain to stack and unstack them.
I use my organizers in my fridge and in my pantry. They're nice to keep smaller items from getting pushed to the back. I have one that has all of my homemade Chinese ingredients, and I have one for my cartons of egg whites from Costco. You get the idea. I have both the shorter and taller ones for my pantry to keep like items together. I use the taller ones for bottles of vinegar, oils, sauces, etc. I got all of mine off of Amazon. They have bundles you can get for a fairly good price. One set came with an egg storage, and I use that to put my hard-boiled eggs in so it wouldn't be a wasteful spend.
I use small sterlight storage bins to organize cheese and small bags of alternative grains, coconut flakes, and various seeds. I picked them up for $1 on sale at a local store. The lid create a seal that keeps the cheese nice and the grains, etc. fresh.
😂 Yes I have all of those refrigerator organizers. I bought the one you're looking at, at Costco two sets of them during the holidays and I also went to The Container Store and spent $200 and bought some more organizers and people don't like to use them, so you're going to be the one setting them up and keeping them organized. If you cook a lot it gets tiring I don't cook a lot so it always looks pretty in my fridge🤗.
I know this is a late comment, but I just bought a house with a Willow tree in a small front yard. It was growing so fast that it was tearing up our cement walkway/steps up to our front door. I had one fall with this tree and the leaves were so horrible. The long stems come down and fly everywhere and into my neighbor's yard. FOr this reason, we had to remove the tree. It was so beautiful. But it was the wrong spot for it. I reccomend a very very big open space for it. and possibly someplace that you don't mind the leave just going everywhere for. love your videos!
You should try wine making. If you can find a recipe you like it is way cheaper to make it rather than buy it. I started making it 1 1/2 years ago and love it.
Weeping willows are so beautiful and whimsical, but they do have invasive roots so be careful where you put it if you do decide to get one!! Thanks for taking us along grocery shopping!
Yes, for sure about the invasive roots...especially since she has a septic tank. I planted ours in a "wet" area of our yard, well away from our septic tank.
Absolutely this! We had one when I was growing up. They are gorgeous, but you definitely want to put it in a wet low spot, far away from the house sewer & water pipes and the garden because it will sponge up water from the soil. They have deep roots and surface roots that will damage sidewalks, etc. too. They have a huge root structure and grow very fast. My grandfather grew a new one by just cutting a twig and starting it in the dirt like a plant. They are also a magnet for aphids and other bugs that require treatment that you don't want near an organic garden. I love this channel. Becky really does have a good community.
For the LED Cafe Lights - Hit Home Depot at the beginning of Spring of beginning of Winter. You can get the exact same ones half-off. I have done it a few years in a row.
I love peanut butter in my smoothies! The powder is great because you get so much more and can easily mix it. The only thing with the one at Costco is the extra ingredients and sugar. I’d get the one that is just peanuts. I love how you check prices by the pound vs what’s on the tag. It helps so much to shop that way or by unit price. I can’t wait to have my home stocked to the point where I don’t shop too often like you! 🤗🤗🤗🤗 oh yeah, everything bagel seasoning is so delicious on avocados!
Hi Becky! Those were Weeping Cherry trees and they are so gorgeous! When we lived on a farm in KY, I planted one outside my bedroom window. Their blooms are beautiful! 🌸🌸🌸
Thanks for taking me along on your Costco shopping haul (I spent a whole lot less money that way!). As for the refrigerator storage containers, I do use them in both my home refrigerator and in our fifth wheel which has a full-size refrigerator. I love them! I have so many various condiment jars/containers and the containers help to keep them wrangled into one area. When I need a jar, I simply slide the entire box forward; no more shoving jars, bottles, etc. out of the way in search of what I need. I also use them in my pantry!
When you were talking about not getting fridge organizers because they're just so darned expensive, I felt that deeply. I'm so sad ee don't have a Costco near us, but once my husband and I move closer to his sister, we'll be closer to one and I can't wait!!!
I bought organic sweet potatoes and planted them and they did great! Had 5 left that were starting to sprout about a month ago, so they are now in jars of water, growing slips like crazy for this seasons sweet potatoes. :)
My Costco has this “insta cart” tote that is amazing! It has hard sides that fold flat to keep in the trunk of my car that helps so much with organizing my truck stuff or groceries when I go major grocery shopping. I got mine for only $10 so I lucked out. But definitely a trunk organizing tote is a must.
I use my clear fridge organizers! It keeps everything completely organized and even my husband is able to find things. My fridge stays clutter free. I got mine on Amazon and have about 8 or 10 in different sizes/lengths. They’re perfect!
omg i'm so jealous of how empty your costco was! seriously, the ones near me are soo crowded, where it's difficult to even turn ur cart around in an aisle
It's totally ok to use the occasional bleach in the washer as it is diluted. You can also use septic enzymes to keep the tank in good working order. I like using Oxyclean in towels and dish/washcloths, as well.
We have a septic and live on a farm. I use bleach on occasion and don’t feel bad about it after a day of cleaning out the barn. Or if the kids throw up and I need to wash those sheets and towels.
Was going to say, a load a day with bleach in it is just fine for septic system. You want to avoid pouring straight bleach down your drain but diluted is fine.
Yes, we have an aerating septic system and we can use bleach products just fine as it uses bleach tablets to help break down the solids but we just can't use any antibacterial hand soap products because those kill the beneficial bacteria in the system.
OMG I just went to Costco and here I am watching Becky stroll through the isles… and I’m so not bored! Every Costco is different and such a fun activity. Thank you for sharing your Costco trip. I hardly need anything at this stage of my life, but wow it’s fun to stroll through and I got to do it twice today! Whoo hoo!
Since you were able to quit your job to do this channel full time, it would be great to hear your story of how that process went, what did well and didn't and what your next plans for the channel are. 😊
You may want to get a tower garden with lights for fresh greens in the winter. I have 7 now and outside there is snow, but in the garage is a ton of fresh greens and produce! Best investment I have made, especially with food prices rising.
Becky ! I didn’t realize you had been laid off and were doing RUclips full time! What a treat for the RUclips community , I just love you! You turned lemons into lemonade ❤️

We love different types of pickles, and I can turn them to see which I want. So, feel free to try them. They have also served as pantry organizers and drawer organizers. Very versatile.
Thanks for that. I was wondering the same as Becky and was hoping to find answers in the comments :)
Lmao same 😂
Stay to your list don’t buy the chips
I’ll wagon that you pay $100 for is better than a wheel barrel it doesn’t tip you can put 1000 pounds on it and you can put the sides down my grandkids 78 and nine lifted my picnic table and took it down the hill when no one else could lift it
Hi Becky,
I love shopping at Costco, too!
Ross, DD's discounts, Family Dollar are where I got my Fridge organisers. Love them
Absolutely, the everything but the bagel seasoning. A year ago it was $1.99 at Trader Joe's for a standard seasoning sized bottle. We like it with a little mayo for cole slaw. It works well with butter and quick stir fried garden veggies. Baked potatoes and butter. Lastly, in rice or any Oriental dish.
Remember that you can take anything back to Costco no questions asked. Really enjoyed shopping with you and thanks for all the great tips. Take care.
PB powder my kids love it.
Yes, that's the Costco Death Star, meaning it's been flagged to be discontinued. 🙂
The asterisk at the top is not coming back (sometimes for now). The .97 states it been marked down and will sell faster. If you see .97 better get it while you can.
I have a lot of bins in my fridge and have 4 kids that are in them all the time. Honestly, they always stay organized, always. I absolutely love them!
Hi Becky! Lots of love! You can hang your white towels outside to bleach them - it works great! The sun does it all on it's own if they are just dingy and not totally stained. I was amazed that my babies cloth diapers come out pristine white by hanging them in the sun! Hugs from accross the water on Vancouver Island.
You can add a little lemon juice to the wash water before putting it out in the sun and it helps bleach naturally.
I love my fridge organizers but I got mine off Amazon. I also use mine in my freezer. I make freezer meal and some I freeze flat in ziplock bags. One they're frozen, I stand them up in the organizer so they don't fall and I can stack them standing up.
Omg you don't know how much I needed this video, your videos are so calming and therapeutic to me.
I use the organizer bin in my freezer. For potting soil in containers. 60% top soil, 20% compost and 20% of pea moss.
And here I am making my Costco shopping list! Perfect timing! 💜
Oh my gosh...I thought I was the only person who buckles in her purse!! 🤣 Fun video - I love your excitement!
I do it because so many people told me too lol it’s a great idea
I do that too, and I also put my shopping bags 🛍 in the clip with my purse. Hangs between the basket and myself, and leaves the upper basket available.
So I recommend the creamy dill salad. I mix in 2 cans of drained tuna, dill pickle relish and your homemade mayo to get the consistency I want. It’s so tasty, you’ll love it if you like dill.
I love dill & it has sooo many health benefits. You have to check them out. You'll be amazed❣🙆♀️
girl what! I am a tuna fan and that sounds so good. Thanks for the idea
Congratulations!! So happy for you. You have such a sweet and kind soul.. you deserve it.
Pro tip, save the rhine of the parmesan cheese for homemade minestrone. It's the key ingredients to fabulous minestrone soup. ☺️
Yes indeed❣🙆♀️
It makes spaghetti sauce pop too!
the rind?
the rind?
@@MsAnna47 it the outer wall of the Parmesan cheese. Like a watermelon rind, but on cheese.
I’m hoping that you have found garden answer on RUclips. The best of the best in garden information!
Yes! Everything bagel seasoning is amazing. I love mine on turkey sandwiches or rice bowls, or sometimes I put it on avocado for a snack.
Ma'am, you can make your own scented laundry soap by adding a few drops of essential oil per load. Double down by adding the oils to white vinegar for fabric softening.
I use plastic shoebox’s from dollar tree in my fridge, works great
I had organic potatoes that sprouted last year so experimented with planting them in grow bags. Planted them on 4 inches of soil, covered with 6 inches then covered again when the foliage passed the rim of the bag. Trick is to keep them regularly watered. I had a good harvest and no rotten ones except the seed potatoes started to decompos.
GIRL- YOU look SO EXCITED TO GO INTO COSTCO after 2 months
So true 🤭😁
I have started using the fridge organizers. I LOVE them! Nothing gets lost in the back anymore.
Becky, I so enjoy your videos. You gave me something to look forward to during all this world's craziness. You also have me experimenting with cooking. My husband thanks you.
Aaaagghh, can’t wait to go to bed and watch this! Horrible day at work, full of anxiety! Nothing for it but 40 mins of my favourite you tuber 💗
I use refrigerator bins. Bins prevent items getting lost in the back. I use one for leftovers, fresh meat, pickles, dairy. I can pull out the entire bin to see what I have and what needs to be eaten.
Thanks Miss Becky ! I enjoyed the field trip !
Hello Erin, you are correct. Our vet also discourages grain free food for dogs.
If you read the first ingredients and if it says corn, do not buy that for your pets! Also look further into the list for odd additives!
@@redinthethevalley yes, the previous owner fed her Pedigree dry food. I think it ruined her stomach. Corn is okay for animals that are slaughtered young but I don't think it's good for dogs or cats at all.
Same. We switched back to grain based
I enjoy the fridge organizers so much. I pull out just one get out what I want and put it back without having to rummage through the whole fridge. My individual bins don’t always look completely organized, but my fridge as a whole does. Hope that makes sense.
Also, if you’re interested in trying new wines Trader Joe’s is a great place to go.
What do your organizers look like? I'm trying to organize but could use more ideas. Thanks.
I'm new to Costco, any recommendations as to what's good to try in the Australian stores?
@@mrsemc: the mince beef is good if you have a way to freeze it. Also, the toilet paper and dish washing tablets. I also like to get their pre-made salads and sandwich platters if I’m having people over because it just makes life simple.
@Roz Woods | Brisbane North West I'm also shopping at North Lakes! I've started a Google Spreadsheet to compare prices at Coles, Costco, and Super Butcher (I buy online, they do free delivery over $200). I have a deep freezer so I can buy in bulk with no problems. I'll have to give the roast chicken a go. Thanks :)
@@Gunapithesunrose I definitely liked the look of all the party platters and cakes. Will be great for parties for sure!
Hi Becky! I was at our Costco yesterday and they had the food savers on sale for $99. Hope this helps! 🌺 Jen
Yes on sale this month
You can also get on-line with $2.99 shipping if you don't want to go down the gantlet again.
I saw that as well and bought one :-)
😂I thought that as well I have three Costco's not to far and they are always busy and trying to find a parking spot is crazy.
Great idea for large families ❣👍🌿🌺🌿
You are so stinking adorable. I love your exuberance. Thanks for taking us shopping. I miss Costco since I moved to the East coast
That dill pickle salad mix is FANTASTIC!!! 🤤
I'll second that! Only I haven't bought it at Costco - It's been at my discount grocery store lately for $1.99 or 3 for $5 (for the 2 bag pack). I couldn't pass it up + it's really good!
Love my Bosch! Just juiced and frozen orange juice and lemon juice for the year
The citrus attachment for the Bosch is the best on the market because of the Bosch motor
My husband and I are OBSESSED with the dill pickle salad!! We usually have it 2-3 times a week!
Snacks are my weakness.
Sooo cool!! 😲👍🏽
You can also do grocery pick up with Sam's!
One set came with an egg storage, and I use that to put my hard-boiled eggs in so it wouldn't be a wasteful spend.
oh, that's smart! I keep my eggs on the counter; I never thought to use egg containers for boiled eggs! thanks for the tip!!
Hi Becky! 👋 Congrats on completing your pantry challenge 💙
Hi Becky..I checked on Google if peanut butter could be freeze dried..it said YES..maybe that will help with your opened jars and smoothies
Mmhmm my mama told me about her childhood home with a willow on the corner thst would get into the water pipes every couple years lol
@@13LavenderRose same thing happened at my grandma's house!!
The dill pickle salad is amazing!!! Our whole families favourite, including our 4 year old twins - highly recommend if you like pickles normally
We drive an hour once a month. Ours has tons of organic options. Most my groceries come from Costco!
I love bike shorts because they help avoid chaffing while keeping you cool! And with a longer/baggier top, super cute!!!
I bought organic sweet potatoes and planted them and they did great! Had 5 left that were starting to sprout about a month ago, so they are now in jars of water, growing slips like crazy for this seasons sweet potatoes. :)
Becky, when you don’t have home made raspberry jam, Costco’s is the bomb! We love it!!!!
Ours is like that too.
I planted organic potatoes that I got from Azure. They started sprouting so I planted them. They grew great!!
It's totally ok to use the occasional bleach in the washer as it is diluted. You can also use septic enzymes to keep the tank in good working order. I like using Oxyclean in towels and dish/washcloths, as well.
Ridx and your fine. I'm assuming you don't use a ton of a bleach. Washing your whites is fine!
