This show has better pacing and WAY more original likable characters than most newer animes today. I've grown bitter towards the medium in recent years. >: {

Deadman Wonderland pulls some interesting things. It's got the stupid anime side gimmick (select few who can control...their blood), but the concept, PRODUCTION VALUE, and it's execution aren't bad. Kind of funny too. The warden chick did something subtle, but hilarious and that good little piece of writing made me hope they did more so I kept watching.
3:50 OMGOODNESS, I just realized that the guy that's jumping around is voiced by the same guy who voiced Agumon in Digimon Season 1....and this makes me happy.
I tried to watch Naruto back in the day. I liked it OK when I was watching it, but it really had too much filler and no major impact on me. Bleach I have no idea why, but I cannot get into. I didn't even bother with the others. The last "new" thing I watched was Fullmetal Alchemist and I will probably watch Brotherhood but I haven't heard of too many amazing new animes. Oh and Gungrave which is made by the same guy as this, I liked. I might have to check out Deadman.

Don't ask me why, but I compare Vash to Roland Deschain from the Dark Tower series; I think he is stuck in a kind of purgatory, forced to live the same tragedies and losses over and over again, but he manages to keep a hopeful outlook on the promise that one day it will change.

(the super duper things an inside joke lol) this anime just proves what a huge age range of ppl lov anime! My frenz 20-some year old brothers love it, and now so do we and were under 16 and girls! (nevr kno what kinda creepers could b readin) Forget Justin Timberlake, Vash is bringing sexy back!! xD
Just gotta love at least one anime in your life at some point :) my first is Bleach which also has Johnny Yong Bosch at the protagonist :) this is probably my 3rd or 4th fave anime of all time :)
