Glad you watched it. It's my favorite anime. I'm not sure it's supposed to be sad but it is. I think it's a good message for the most part. Vash and his brother are a tragic tale for sure but I think vash himself is what we all should try to be
Ah, perfect song. The beginning where he was being dragged around and beaten down was just terrific. This song epitomizes his character and describes what he's going through trying to be good but being viewed as the bad guy by everyone. 5 stars.

Good job! Especially using the tools of 2005, your editing of Vash's eye color (which in the show is closer to green) to being blue is especially fitting. The song is clearly the best one (whichever version you prefer is personal taste) in tone of capturing the series. My only quibble is that when the song talks about his dreams not being empty some of the imagery could have been more peaceful. But this is an artistic choice on your part and I applaud it.

I grew up watching classics like Speed Racer and Battle of the Planets but on that night I fell in love with anime and all of the amazing shows that came out on AdultSwim in the subsequent years.
i have a very good friend who i know as Vash The Stampede he's cosplays vash and plays the character amazingly well as well as adding a bit of his own persona to it this amv reminds me of my vash friend and all that hes helped me through all of my hardships and such

I have to say, in response to the Outcry against the color of his eyes, that this was at least a Decent recolor. Mostly, you wouldn't know unless you've seen the Anime. I also agree, completely, with the 'discover L.I.M.P. Say' crap. kinda.. .you know, ruins it.
Except he DID have blue eyes, and witnessing exactly WHEN he had blue eyes tells monuments about the relevance of this song to the anime, and it's relevance.
