Another triumph David so well done. Your consistently high standards continue to impress. I’m not surprised that you are busy. Good craftsmen will always have work. Pieces renovated by you will be shown and displayed with great pride by their lucky owners. Dear Daisy, as always, lifts my spirits. I am SO looking forward to seeing your next posting.
Thank you so much for restoring my sewing cabinet. It was originally from my nan’s house I think, but it’s been in our family home all my life. I used to play with it…sorry about some of the damage that I probably caused! It is now a beautiful piece of furniture in my lounge. The video is fabulous too and is a wonderful keepsake to remind me of how this much loved piece of family history has been carefully restored.
Hi Lesley, thanks for leaving such a love,y comment and I’m really pleased you like the restoration of your lovely little table. It’s Greta to have a piece of furniture that has been passed down through the generations and yours should last a long long time. 😀❤️
Lesley, thank you for leaving feedback. Its really wonderful to hear your response, we always wonder what the owners think. I do love David's work, he has really beautiful pieces he refinishes/restores, as you know 😊. Take care and enjoy your beautifully restored sewing cabinet! From Wisconsin, USA.
Excellent results on both the pretty sewing table AND the shop organization. Your outdoor space is looking fantastic. Life is good... I'm sure Daisy would agree (once she gets her cork 🥰 & a chin scratch)
Absolutely beautiful work as always David, Daisy sure loves her daddy. Your garden looks amazing such a beautiful space for the family to relax in xxxxx😘😘
As someone who does a lot of sewing, embroidery and knitting I would absolutely love this gorgeous storage table for my projects. The work you have done on it will make it a truly treasured piece of furniture. Well done!
Very nice job and beautiful finish! I appreciate all the tips you give us for fixing problems. Your Shop Assistant/Guard Dog is getting sassy-but who can resist that sweet face and waggy tail?! 🥰 Your shop is coming along nicely, and your garden is lovely.
Thanks so much. I live the new garden and I’m trying to get my workshop better all the time. Daisy certainly was vocal whilst I was doing this job 😂😂🐶❤️
David, that is a lovely little sewing chest. The walnut stain is just stunning. This reminds me of an antique silverware chest I have that belonged to my great grandmother. Sadly, it needs some serious professional repair. Your Daisy is a sassy lass, I just love her. I have had five cocker spaniels and now have two cavaliers, spaniels are my favorite breed. Beautiful restoration as always !! Cheers from the Finger Lakes of NY 🍷 🍷
Hey David, so glad you and Daisy are back! The wood grain on this table is gorgeous! Love the color of the stain and how it brought out the beauty of the wood! Fantastic job! Daisy is really enjoying the beautiful new garden! It looks beautiful to! Can't wait for the preview of the garden makeover! Awesome job on both! 😊
I started watching your magic and when you had the challenge with flippingdrawers, I became hooked!!! I can't get enough of you both. Worse than that ( my husband's words lol) I have several pieces that need some magic! His worse nightmare come true!! So enjoy your attention to details! Have a great weekend.
Much better! One of the things I really like about your videos is that you will start with cleaning the furniture. A lot of the other guys I've seen don't do any cleaning until 3/4 through the process, if they even do it then. I always want to ask them how they even know what they have without cleaning it. 😂
Very nice job and useful tips. Also, your workshop is organized nicely but the cabinets make it nice! Thanks for sharing your talent for restoration with us. I am still trying to watch all your videos. You're work is impressive and I am sure will only get better and better. Hugs to sweet Daisy!😊
I imagine the owner of this sewing cabinet is over the moon happy with this stunning restoration. As for me, I love the transition of this family piece BUT like the steam iron, the car buffer, I now know what to do with is as well.
Great job 👏🏽 If you have WD-40 or a similar product in your country, you can also use it to loosen tight screws. Thanks again for sharing. All dogs love to be near their owners. Part of their make up is loyalty. They also hate to be alone.
Hi David, what a gorgeous sewing table. Lovely work to restore the piece! Your backyard is beautiful. And... of course, Daisy is absolutely adorable 🐶🐾❤️
I love your reveal music ❤️ Daisy is a little sweetheart and it sure shows how much you love her. This was a very beautiful piece of furniture. Looks like you have a gorgeous garden and home 😍
That's an elegant sewing table and will serve several generations to come. I really appreciate your use of "chapter headings/titles" for a segue between sections of the video. The new shelves are such a nice upgrade. I always feel better when things are organized, whether in my kitchen or office. Miss Daisy must be the happiest dog in town. She lights up around you and even looks good with her sawdust "glitter." I'm late in getting to see this video because I've been laid up recovering from knee surgery for the last week. It's so nice to see a new installment, and especially your stunning garden. Lovely! Cheers from Oklahoma!!!
What lovely comments as always. I hope you get better soon from your Op, i know it takes a while to get back to normal. Daisy is a little love, she always brightens up my day and is such a happy soul. We're really pleased with how the garden turned out and my wife is happy that the old messy garden isn't being shown to the world on my videos any more. 🤣🐶❤️
The finish came out beautifully. I’ve always been a believer. If it’s true mahogany. I should have more of a deep, deep, deep, reddish color but that’s just me.
What a lovely little piece of furniture - I could easily live with that. You did a fantastic job on it - obviously, especially with the help of Daisy ! Thanks for sharing your skills. Take care 🙂
Looks great! I use an impact screwdriver to break free stubborn screws. Works like a charm and no damage to the piece. I used one in my last rocking chair project on the channel for two super rusty screws that had been wet forever in the rocker foot. Check it out if you would like to see how it looks in action. Cheers 🍻
What a beauty! Love watching your work and care for such great results. As a fellow saddo I love your new cupboards.! I am always green with envy watching Jay in his beautiful studio. Daisy is a wonderful fore lady, but that is showing my age 🤣🤣
Well done, that's always frustrating getting the screw out. I use a hammer and screwdriver . This is the same premise that an impact driver works on. 😊
Another triumph David so well done. Your consistently high standards continue to impress. I’m not surprised that you are busy. Good craftsmen will always have work. Aww thanks Pamela, you’re very kind with your lovely comments. Thanks for your continued support 😀🐶❤️
I agree with every word 😊

I absolutely ❤your work and music. Don’t forget ❤ to Daisy.
Thanks so much Suzanne 😃🐶❤️
It's just beautiful. Your customer is going to be super happy
Thanks Maggie 😀😀
Love your garden and Daisy! Like the tip heating up the screws to loosen them.
Thanks very much 😀🐶👍
Absolutely beautiful. Nothing prettier than freshly rejuvenated wood. Great job!
Utterly beautiful restore. Gorgeous Daisy 🌼 🐕
Thank you! 😊
Better than new.

Glad you enjoyed it 😀🐶❤️
Beautiful work David, you brought back a previous glory to the furniture 👏💕❤️
Thanks so much!😀❤️
I'm always so excited to see a video from you pop up on my notifications. Your restorations never disappoint. Beautiful job!!
Aww thanks Doris, so pleased you enjoyed it 😀
That looks great! Daisy is so funny, she has to keep an eye on Dad to make sure he’s not doing anything that includes a cork she should have!! 😂❤
Very true, she such a little love and hates being without me or my wife 😀🐶❤️
Plain and utilitarian but it looks beautiful. Great to see Daisy, she is such a cutie.❤
Thank you! 😊
Your heated screw technique was amazing. I never thought to try that with a wood screw.
😀👍
Nice work again David and Daisy 👏👏👍
Cheers Michael 😀😀
Excellent results on both the pretty sewing table AND the shop organization. Your outdoor space is looking fantastic. Life is good... I'm sure Daisy would agree (once she gets her cork 🥰 & a chin scratch)
Thanks very much. Daisy loves her new garden, she can run the full length of it after her corks 😂🐶❤️
Oh, that's a lovely finish. I'll have to remember the soldering iron tip. And I'll bet the only time Daisy's tail isn't wagging is when she's asleep.
That’s very true, she’s a happy little soul 😀🐶❤️
You are a true professional at work to restore this "simple" piece - its gorgeous! I'm jealous of the owner.
Absolutely beautiful work as always David, Daisy sure loves her daddy. Your garden looks amazing such a beautiful space for the family to relax in xxxxx😘😘
Thanks as always Freyja. We love the new garden and Daisy loves running up and down the new path 😂🐶🐶❤️❤️
I just love your patience and sense of humour. Lovely work. Keep those northern quips coming🤣
Thank you! Will do!😀❤️
Nice little sewing table, came out really well. Daisy helped loads! She is coming along very nicely as your apprentice 😅
She’s a good little apprentice although she does give me a bit of cheek 😂🐶❤️
Your videos are always so much fun to watch. Thanks for everything you teach us. 😊
Aww that’s really kind, thanks Nancy ❤️😀
As someone who does a lot of sewing, embroidery and knitting I would absolutely love this gorgeous storage table for my projects. The work you have done on it will make it a truly treasured piece of furniture. Well done!
You’re very kind, thanks so much 😀
Daisy had a lot to say! The cabinet looks better than new! Thanks for sharing!
Hi Anita, she was a little imp during this restoration but she’s always making me laugh so I forgive her 😂🐶❤️
Beautiful. I really like that you finished this piece with natural wax. I do enjoy watching your work and of course Daisy😍
Thanks so much 😀🐶
Look at the beautiful grain stand out in that rich color. Job well done, David and Daisy.
Very nice, it’s looks lovely. Also nice to have a dose of Daisy, she is beautiful.
Thank you! 😊🐶❤️
Love it. Didn't go nuts, just made it shine like it was brand new. Glad to see Daisy too, she's a lovely girl.
😀🐶👍
Your Daisy is such a treat.
Thanks Jay 🐶👍😃

From the way you slide your hand across the top I imagine creamy soft especially with wax looks so good
It was so so smooth and very tactile. 😀😀
Beautiful ❤ I can feel that wood tingling 💥❤️🔥
Glad you liked it!!😀😀
It looks real good after renovation 😍😍

I didn’t know that trick about applying heat to a stuck screw. Thanks!
Me neither until a kind viewer shared the trick with me. Great solution to an annoying problem 👍👍
The finished piece is beautiful!
Thanks 😀😀
That little sewing table looked rather sad in the beginning. You made it sparkle!!
Hi to you and Daisy from Virginia, USA!! 🇺🇸

Thanks so much Susie. I'm certainly not as organised as Jay, his workshop is cleaner than some houses! 🤣🐶❤️
Well done, that's always frustrating getting the screw out. I use a hammer and screwdriver . This is the same premise that an impact driver works on. 😊
I’ve actually just bought an impact driver. The soldering iron trick was great but it takes an age to get it hot enough 😂👍
@@MayfieldRestorations Yeah always handy to have.
You clocked the screws! You are the man! 🥇🥃
Yep 😂😂😂👍
