  • What is Your Vision Like with Cataracts?
Cataracts can severely impact your eyesight and enjoyment of life. A cataract is a clouding of the internal lens of the eye. The change in the lens blocks light that normally passes through it, which can make an image appear blurry, colourless or unfocused. Other symptoms you may note of #cataracts are glare and light sensitivity. This makes night driving dangerous, as the light from other cars can create glare or physical discomfort in the eye.
This animation video will show how cataracts impact vision so you are prepared to make an informed decision and manage this reversible condition.
If you think you may have cataracts, schedule an appointment with Dr Dylan Joseph at the Vision for Life Clinic to see if cataract surgery is right for you.

This is actually incredibly accurate coming from someone with a weird cataract story. At 13 years old I was shot in the eye with a BB gun and miraculously the BB didn't puncture my eye, but it still hit it directly. My lens shattered and a cataract started forming instantaneously. I could see nothing but yellow when I opened the eye that was hit. This was very reminiscing of that. I'm sure the reason I couldn't see anything but yellow would have to do with the lens shattering and the cataract.
I also remember having a milky white ball slowly forming inside that eye as well. I had to wear an eye patch because it freaked kids out lol.

I’ve been taking lowering IOP drops for more than a year and I am beginning to experience the same side effects you
Listed. Not sure what to do, doctor says I’m imagining things and mandates I follow up my monoprost + kosopt combination- I’m 32 yo and never had issues before that such as these.

It took 2 years and 4 eye doctors to find one who could tell me I had a cataract. She even did so prior to dilating my eyes. I keep saying something was fundamentally wrong.

Please remove the background musak. It is annoying, and far too loud for your voice.
