I never get tired of hearing stories about how much everybody loves working with Don Mancini. It's so refreshing and wholesome, compared to so many other stories out there about nightmare sets and bad coworkers. I want to give him a hug.

I love how strong-willed & kind-hearted Nica is. A subtle fav. character moment, for me, was in the cafeteria when Maddie is feeding Baby Chucky. After Claire snatches the doll from her, Nica immediately tells her to give him back. The doll clearly makes her uneasy but she forces herself to deal with it since it makes Maddie happy & helps her cope.

I think he did that as a reminder to himself or his editor to add in the actual date. The reason it’s so loud is so it shows up as a big audio spike on the editing timeline. That being said, it appears someone forgot to edit that part.

@@berrycade based on his Twitter posts, I dont think so. He is definitely intentional with his stuff so while sure its "possible," that is the case, id bet it was intentional and not a mistake. But unless he chimes in, we probably won't ever know for sure.
I feel like Cult of chucky was the most fun in the series. Not the best, but so freaking good.
It's also so freaking awesome to see how much Brad's daughter both looks and sounds like him.

It's crazy how much Fiona not only looks like her father, but has that same laugh as him as well.
Even without digging into interviews, it's very clear that people love working with Mancini. You don't get that many returning long-term cast members, and even relatives of long term cast members, without a reputation for making them feel welcome. It makes the series feel like it's still 'in the family', in contrast to so many others out there.
Honestly it makes me worried what will happen to the franchise when they start passing away. Brad Dourif is 72 and Mancini is gonna be 60 come January.

That’s something I really dig about the horror genre; despite the violence and fear it hopes to instill, it seems to lead to tight-knit crews & long-standing friendships amongst their members. Something wonderfully wholesome and ironic about that, eh?

I absolutely love the dynamic between Andy and Chucky. Stuff like Andy prepping Buzzcut with a gun and Chucky testing Andy’s resolve to shoot Nica show the two have a fundamental understanding of each other, but that it’s always constantly a battle of wits. They have the greatest rivalry of any duo in the slasher genre.

I remember watching Bride of Chucky and Seed TOO TOO young and being scared forever. I thank the kill count for showing me that I was pretty much scared for nothing.
What's interesting is I saw the original Chucky too young and was scared for years until Bride of Chucky which made me love the franchise.

Fun fact, Elisabeth Rosen the actress who played Madeleline was in an episode of Are You Afraid of the Dark. The episode was Tale of the Night Shift, and Elisabeth played a girl disguised as a vampire trying to drink all the employees at a hospital. It's honestly one of the creepier episodes in the series.
The first time I watched this one i hadn't seen curse of Chucky, I was genuinely thinking Nika might have been the killer and up until half the movie i thought it was a psychological thriller playing with the idea that a killer would blame Chucky for her crimes, gotta say i thoroughly enjoyed it.
One thing I love is how Tiffany is in the back also how the chucks communicate is so cool

This movie shot up to the top as a favorite as soon as I heard that line about Hannibal. An old co-worker got me into the show after it was already cancelled, and I agree with Chucky/Don Mancini. Can't believe they cancelled it 😭
That was I think the greatest horror show of the 2010s. At least it got something of an ending.
This is why I can't bring myself to watch a lot of series until they are completed. Yes, sometimes it means waiting years but I hate getting attached to shows just for them to get cancelled. I did this with GoT and well, even after waiting I was still disappointed, lol, so my whole waiting thing doesn't always pay off.
I'm just glad they got to wrap it up properly, still can't get over how Dead Like Me ended...
It's good it died with dignity and didn't just become something stale and unwatchable.
Mads Milkkesen was terrific in the role of Lecter, Sir great Anthony Hopkins should've been proud.
Mads was also great in Hideo Kojima's Death Stranding game as well

This is my personal favorite film in the series. It feels like the most balanced film in the series between the suspense, the humor, the characters, plots twists, and the kills. I love it.
It was an uphill battle, but James pulled a Kate Bush and ran up that fucking hill and here we are. Congrats on making it to the end of the film series, James. You’re the best! Can’t wait to see season one of the show!!!
