I just found you and I'm so happy I found someone who uses centimeter instead of inches😭
Haha thanks!! Love that and I can relate SO MUCH 🥰
Centimeters forever! Makes so much more sense.
Hahahahaha yes!!!
Same
I live in the US, and I still prefer using centimeters instead of inches. I find it to be much more precise
Project idea: big puffy pirate shirt, like the ones in pirates of the Carribean. I watch the first one and salivate over those sleeves.
Bernadette Banner has a pirate shirt tutorial on her channel 🤓
@@sally16890 might have to check that out then 👀
@@Tempest-Sparrow do it it's amazing
Yes! It totally has a cottegecore vibe!! I was struggling to make a pattern of this dress myself so I'm excited to grab the pattern when I have spending money :)
Love that ♥️
She's is sooo underrated. You definitely deserve more follower !!!!
Such a gorgeous dress and this is the first time I´ve ever seen someone drawing a pattern!!! You nailed it!
More cottagecore dresses please!!
The collection showcase in the beginning is incredible!
Thanks so much!
I would looove to see some sort of playsuit/jumpsuit! You're killing it every time, love your stuff!
Thank you so much ♥️
Something I haven't been able to find - a midi length dress that I could garden in. Like front square pockets to toss an egg into. enough skirt to gather up in case you forgot your basket . But not in a fabric that punches you in the face with Spring themes.
I'm sorry but I'm just confused... Why do you need an egg to garden? 👁️👄👁️
@@aesyn4533 She might have chickens and need the pocket to collect their eggs
@@sks17873 ahhh you're right. This is max cottagecore and I'm jealous lol. I thought it was a snacc maybe 😋
@@aesyn4533 Sorry I didn't explain that well at all.
I mean something like an apron that you can put on over your outfit that has tighter sleeves (sticking your hands into tomato plants or a pea tripod blindly usually ends up with a spider on your arm), it could keep your clothes from getting dirty and have larger pockets to put either veggies or eggs in. or tools if you are doing some trimming.
Kind of a protective gardening cover? If that makes more sense?
@@kellyhart4482 hmmm. Maybe you could thrift/sew a dress or a large shirt which has fitted wristbands or a wristband with an elastic so it fits snuggly. And you can add big pockets. Also there are sprays in a fabric stores that will the clothes water resistant? So less chances to dirty your clothes underneath :)
I absolutely loved watching your process it is really great how professionally you work and the dress turned out gorgeous!
LOVE LOVE LOVE your tutorial, and as a beginner whos been binge watching so many videos from professionals and verified accounts, THIS VIDEO was the one that made me finally get the patternmaking, it finally clicked thanks to you.
now i understand, thank you so much and keep up the good work, sorry my bad english.
Omg, last week I was frantically looking for a pattern EXACTLY LIKE THIS! I'm so happy!!!
Actual video starts at 5:08
Most elegant milkmaid dress I have ever seen.
Thank you!!
You’re so under rated wth 😡💕
🙈🙈
The dress is so pretty 😍 I'm so glad you didn't have to freeze out in the weather this time 😂
Thank you ♥️ yes thank god it's also getting warmer her 🙈 let's hope for the best for next time outside
The blue dreas reminds me so much of princess Anastasia's boat scene dress 😍
Beautiful! Additionally, I want a sweater just like the one your wearing here.
Omg first time seeing you...you're so cute! and super fashionable
Am I the only one loving this dress😍😘
Of course not, how could anyone not love this dress?
@@julianaschimmel7914 chef's kiss 😂
I love d tutorial, so detailed and understandable. Thank u! It's such a beautiful dress!, l love ur sewing machines and ur work space!
I liked and subscribed from the intro alone😭❤️
You have the smoothest tutorial ive seen
You make pattern making look so easy. thank you. Kinda feel like making something out of fabric for once now. or at least try. I kinda gave up.
Congratulations on the collection and the move!!. The dress looks sooo cute. Well done. Can you say what types of fabric you recommend to get the best result with the pattern.
Thank you so much 🥰 This is what I wrote in my Etsy listing: I used printed cotton canvas for this pattern (220gsm). Any material can be used honestly depending on the look you want to go for, just make sure it's not see-through. I would recommend a fabric on the thicker side like mine, but I think anything above 180gsm is fine (don't go too heavy).
Love this dress. The fabric is gorgeous.
Thank you! I absolutely adore the fabric as well 🥰
What a beautiful dress.
Das Kleid ist sooooooooooo mega schön geworden 😻😻😻😻😻ich liebe es absolut
Dankeschön 🥰🥰
The dress looks really nice on you well done
I will be making this tonight! :) just bought the pattern
Yay!! I'm excited for you 🥰
Yessssss!!!!! Notification gang

@@THISISKACHI the dress is beautiful. I’m definitely gonna give it a try.
New subscriber here. Loving everything you make. Such quality and style.💕💕💕
I’m still 12 and I am very interested in sewing but I do everything else correct except I just cannot get my skirts right each time but this video really helped so thank you so much!
This is so gorgeous! 😍
Thank you 🥰
WAIT WHAT I did not realize that you are from germany. I am from germany too and I love watching your videos :))
Look you need to stop it! You're videos/clothing and the beauty of them are going to make me subscribe. I was just surfing RUclips, minding my own business and bam- your video. After a few clicks and seeing your videos- I got the 'I want this' feeling.
Think I will sub, you have a nack for capturing beauty.👍
🙈🙈🙈 thank you so much! 🥰
The dress is so pretty
So happy I found your channel!
Love your designs! Please consider making bigger sizes bc I really want to make this dress
Thank you 🥰 I can try to size my patterns up to a point but I am not educated in plus size - if I may ask, which size would you look out for? I guess I could make up to 3XL ... but I can't guarantee the fit tbh 🙈
@@THISISKACHI thanks for replying! I think a 2xl or 3xl would work great. I’m usually a large or xl in American sizes but I know European sizes run smaller
Tudo com muito capricho amo ver seus vídeos já comprei meu padrão peça linda como todos os seus padrão ❤😍🇧🇷
Yes. Perfect for beginners.
Beginning of the tutorial: 5:07
wow you are so talented! I'm so glad i found your channel :-) I'm an intermediate sewer but I haven't ever tried draping. do you have any tutorials on that?
Thank you 🥰 I think I would recommend this video: ruclips.net/video/1Fg21y3e4_4/видео.html I'm going a bit more into Detail on how I draped the bodice there 👍🏻
@@THISISKACHI thank you so much!
I love iiiiiiiiit, perfect for a summer with style
Thank you 🥰
Love the blue full skirt 💓
thank you 😍
Love this, will try it out. Thank you.
Love the upgrade 💖 you can do apartment tour maybe? Love the dress also 🥰😍😍
I will as soon as it's ready 🤭
@@THISISKACHI can't wait to see it, btw it's called cottage style
Thank you 🥰
How much fabric would you recommend (for normal width fabric, so like 150 cm)? Love this dress and will definitely buy the pattern!😍
2m for normal width fabric 👍🏻 and if you wanna go the safe route then 3m because of the skirt
Thank you for creating such a nice tutorial and the pattern!
Gorgeous, loving the dress
Always love your tutorial videos, very helpful and clear
Hey Kachi! I just bought the pattern :D Do i really need a ruffling foot for the cups? Is there any other way you can suggest that I can ruffle the cups to my size. (I'm a complete beginner and this will be my first dress :DD)
Hi! No you don't need one. You can use the method of manual ruffling, so stitch 2 seams into your seam allowance with your widest stitch without back tacking, then pull on the bobbin thread and you are able to ruffle the cups. Make sure to tie a knot in the end so your ruffles stay in place :)
Your amazing for this THANKYOU
Girl that intro!!!!
awesome....im willing to making any kind of dress but the problem is i don't have sawing machine..i dont have enough money to buy it..
I love it but ive never made a dress in my life and it looks to be totally out of my wheel house LOL. Maybe someday.
First watching ur video,,
1st like,, 1st time comment,,
And now i just subscribe ur channel 🤤🤤🤤🤤🇧🇩
Glad to have you here 🥰
love the dress! will you be putting out a pattern for the jacket from the first outfit in the lookbook? it’s so incredible
yes I will at some point :)
Beautiful
Beautiful! Just subscribed!
Hi girl I love the dress! I bought the pattern and am currently trying to make it. How long was your cord that goes thru the cups?
Love the dress and watching your creative process :) - I just saw that you‘re from Germany, would you mind sharing where you get your fabrics from (online stores etc.)? I‘m from Hamburg and think it‘s really hard to find nice fabrics for garments here
Yes!! Same here in Munich too, especially now with nothing being open. This one I got from stoff4you.de 👍🏻
Hey Kachi! I love your videos! I’m new to sewing but I bought the pattern and have the bodice almost finished. I think I made a mistake with my circle skirt but I’m not sure what I did wrong! I did a 2 cm seam allowance all the way around but I think the edge of my bodice is a little wider than the waist… 🤔 I haven’t cut the slit yet because I don’t want to mess that up further if I did!
Yeah, it's because of the slit. It should wider the 2cm that you put in for the slit ☺️ if you don't want the slit, just cut the 2cm off (1cm on each skirt side) and it should fit. 🥰
So talented!!!
perfect tutorial!
I love It ❤️ but i'm beginner and i dont feel able to do this 😰
Love that 😍 werde es Safe nachnähen 🤍
Viel Spaß dabei 🥰
Amazing job I like it so much my sweety 😘❤🤗
The video helps so much, thank you
Do you sell the pattern for the blue circle skirt or have a tutorial? It's stunning 🥺
As it's part of my collection, I am selling the finished piece as of right now but I will be releasing the patterns bit by bit once a new collection is out.
I'm in Love! Could you please tell me where you bought the fabric from?
Hi.
Thank for your video of making the pattern on size ( on mannequin). How can I fix the pattern with own measurement, that is not exact like standard size !?
5:08 video starts
I don't have a dress form :
Perfect oky
Video starts at 5:06
Can you male video on bow to make a bodice block?! Im super petite but i also have a bigger bust so its hard to follow the size chart.
Pls check out my video on that: ruclips.net/video/RHUyAD1AuR4/видео.html and the playlist ruclips.net/p/PLrmy5GDRwJG4REt9r82bjdNI1t1D-fPHQ to learn all you need for pattern making (ongoing series).
8:00 I FEEL LIKE IM WATCHING HICCUP MAKE THE PROTHESIS FOR TOOTHLESS
You make it look so easy! Do you ever pre wash your fabrics to avoid shrinking? I have no experience with pre washing yet
Would it be possible to make this but with a full circle skirt?
How do the sleeves work? Completely skipped over the sleeves
Perfect 🙏💖
hi Ive downloades the pattern but cant find the extended sizes from 42/XL up?
Bomb af ❤️
does it matter if you cant do an overlock stitch? All I have is a regular sewing machine
Fantastic video -- nice to see the entire process including the draping. P.S. I think the English word you were looking for is 'cottagecore'. ^^
Can you suggest any good yt channel to learn to sew?
Amazing 😻
dress making starts at 5:00
love the pants and shorts. Where can I get the pattern?
It is so stunning! If I were to try making it would it be ok to zigzag stitch the edges instead? I'd love to try making it once exams are over!
Yes it totally would be okay to zigzag the edges 🥰
@@THISISKACHI Thank you! I love all your videos by the way
Thank you 🥰🥰🥰
Hey! is it possible to make the sleeves up on the shoulder with the pattern? instead of having it off the shoulder.
Hi! Yes you can, but it's not included in my pattern. I have a video with these kinda sleeves that you could potentially just swap out: ruclips.net/video/m7qGhllXMBo/видео.html
I started to make a test, man to assemble the cup was so hard, mine looks awful 🙈 unfortunately your tutorial is not made for dummies like myself 😭 can't see much detail on how you did it since the camera close-up is not good and I have no idea how to assemble the sleeves 🙈 I will try once more, if I don't succeed I think I will quit sewing 😔😔😔
Amazing video ! How much fabric did you use ? :)
Gorgeous :)
Thank you 🥰
i can totally hear you're german :D
nice dress tho. will try to make it myself.
Wobbly zipper, how to solve it? I haven’t even used a stretchy fabric 😞
Hi katchi I tried to msg on etsy but it kept failing, I am a uk 20/22 and would love this pattern I was wondering if you have any plans to do bigger sizing at all? Xx
Hi there 🥰 as plus size is a different kind of grading which I am not yet educated in, I don't do it as of right now - but in the future I would certainly hope to learn it some time!
