There isn’t a single thing about that boy that’s authentic. The more time progresses, the more I realize that there is nothing these celebrities have that I want, besides financial security. They are morally bankrupt and devoid of any true self worth.
Why would he “innastand our culture” if the “culture” is as ignorant as you’re making it. He’s done far more for hip hop and putting artists on, expanding the genre to new listeners, making it more global and giving new cats fire features than Kenny ever could. What has Kenny done for anyone but himself? Who has he put on? Also, speak proper English, you’re making us look ignorant 🤦🏾♂️🤡
@nerakar6562 he's been on top of the game and the game is as GOOFY as he is right now! Time for the GOOFIES to go to the back of the bus! Aubrey, 50, future,21, Kodak, boosie , fat joe, etc etc. All gate keeping GOOFIES!
As a woman, I can honestly and wholeheartedly attest to the fact that I can give and have never gave two shitz about anything Aubrey has ever done musically! 😂
@EANDM71 Facts! He's never felt authentic to me, as a woman that was born and bread off of legitimate hip-hop. I mean I get the "phases" that hip-hop has transversed through over the decades, but even with that, he's NEVER given me the impression of being truly invested and in LOVE with our culture. Always gave me the "pre-packaged, no-name brand generic" version, for which I'll NEVER digest!
Only Nice for What for me. I was shocked he had a song I loved though. And I don't really have a lot of Drake fans in my life. The beef was the most exposure I've had to his base
Drizzy is breaking records alright... 1st "rapper" in history to try and sue over a rap beef he lost, 1st top pop artist that dropped straight to the bottom, 1st wannabe tough guy that got his a** whooped and cried foul, etc... Dot was right, he's not a rap artist but a scam artist, and he'll never have the same respect again!
Well said, he literally dug his own grave, it was fine and dandy when he aired false narratives about KDot and he ups and snitches when he's on. The receiving end, Biggy didn't run snitchin after Hit 'em up did he?? Oh and I heaard Nike dropped ol boy😂😂😂😂
I do not have the faith yall have that Drake's gonna make anything good. Wagwan Delilah is one thing but when 100 Gigs and his collabs with Camila Cabello and Sexxy Red are at best not even talked about and at worst actively laughed at is enough to make you sit back and go "hmmm...". Shit, it even seems like he only started turning his stuff around with For All The Dogs, because it sounded like his ass was on a rough patch after Scorpion with CLB and Honestly, Nevermind. Only good things I heard about him from the beef is that sonically his tracks were good.
While this assessment of the quality of his output is on point, you have to remember numbers are numbers. For the maintenance of his career, it doesn't matter if he puts out garbage, as long as it makes numbers, unfortunately.
To be fair they also played R Kelly for a long time before he got locked up and had his music pulled. But people never looked at R Kelly the same and his image took a hit. Definitely two different situations and Artist but it’s something there.
Drake has a ton of fans. It's hard for me to believe he's done. Same thing with J. Cole. These are huge fanbases who are gonna support these dudes no matter what
Who are you not to care about his fan base when his fan base is larger than the fan base of anyone else you support? I know you KBots can be pretty delusional and hate judging anything by anything that’s actually statistical or measurable so you hate numbers and sales and streams and fan base and would rather focus on subjective nonsense that you personally believe as your own opinion and pretending like it’s a fact because you believe it 😂🤡🤦🏾♂️ trust me Drake is going to outlast Kenny‘s little 15 minutes of fame and if you believe performing a song at the Super Bowl is somehow going to affect Drake‘s career or pretending his career is hurting right now when he’s still the biggest artist with the most streams and sales this year without even dropping a project then you are obviously just delusional 🤷🏾♂️
yeah like i said in another comment, i think he'll still have decent sized sales for future music releases, but i don't think he'll be able to reach the highs that he used to have. his best bet would be to take 2025 off entirely, work on himself as a person, and build hype for his next music release. or surprise drop it entirely at some point in the distant future. i don't see that happening.
I agree his fan base is going to keep him around for a while but I personally wouldn’t mind if I never hear another Aubrey song for the rest of my life. Old or new. I wanna hear these new passionate artist that are hungry for the music. All these viral tick tock ish is cute but I like the shift people are making to wanting good music.
People like drake dont lose their careers unless they choose to leave, he has a strong, either toxic or unaware, fanbase so i wouldnt expect him to go away anytime soon.
I honestly don't think this is even close to over. Dude's ego is too inflated, he'll say or do something out of pocket and bring the boogeyman back out. As much as he pretends to be unbothered by Kendrick and literally the world calling him a weirdo and a lame his actions speak otherwise, but all he knows how to do is internet subliminals, bro is damn near 40 still trying to appeal to teens and young adults. I'm honestly surprised it took this long to get him outta there .
i still don't think he's completely out of there sadly. dude's not released any project worth fully listening to since 2015, but his toxic fandom is incredibly persistent.
It's a wrap, especially when everything starts coming out. I just saw BIGGKISH react to a video, and it had a clip of Drake pushing percs and Fent 😮 for some LA dude! It was insane and recent, because his hair was out and long
not only does that white woman have to worry about kenny, sza, the weeknd, but also the umg situation. whether he wins or loses that he will never sell the same again.
Not the white woman 😂😂 But you’re right. When they were listening the artists Aubrey would be going against, I kept thinking, how hard is umg really going to push him regardless of release schedule? I don’t see it being business as usual with those petitions floating around
Few things: A. It’s not just about what he drops; it’s about the quality and the credits on each track. The details matter, and that can make or break how people view his artistry. B. The credibility around anything he raps about these days is questionable. That Adin Ross stream was a complete L for Drake-like, bro needed his mom to hop on just so he could start feeling himself? 😂 Maybe it was the liquor talking, but telling Adin "we glazing each other all stream" and calling him a "baddie"? That was weird vibes all-around. C. Then there’s the business side-how well is UMG really gonna push this album? Especially when Spotify seems to be moving with that “F Drake” energy lately, how often will it even pop up for everyone? Drake isn’t done, but the way he’s been flexing and moving lately feels off. With a new top dog in hip-hop right now, he needs to adjust his game-move with the finesse of someone playing second best instead of clinging to old habits.
Bro, his numbers are gonna be down no matter when he drops. It's not his followers it's the casuals that won't support. And if he doesn't fix his issue with the labels to push his album numbers will be down tremendously. Not sure what you call done, but its enough to consider Drake dome when he's not near the "numbers" he has been use too.
Fantastic Hip hop been waiting on Drake downfall LOL I am a Dot fan but even I raise my brow sometimes at his videos lmao bro might hate Drake more than Kendrick and Pusha T combined
I'm realizing I started watching you bc you look like my ex. Lmao. This was hella subconscious. LMAO but seeing you with the air, the glasses AND THE BEARD?! Oh lawd.
I think the biggest threat to Aubrey is the quality of the music other artists are putting out while he isn’t dropping. If Kendrick cleansed the palette, Doechii, Em, The Weekend, Tyler, Schoolboy Q,SZA, ect. Are definitely changing tastes. Like you said the bar has been raised by people who care about artistry. I don’t think Drake will disappear, but the influence and success of the dispassionate will lessen. You can already see that happening.
Drake is still going to be the biggest artist overall but how he’s behaved the last few months will affect his legacy when it comes to strictly hip hop fans.
I mean there was an album that Drake put out that did like 270 or 290 if I’m mistaken and it was also promoted so it’s possible that he can do low numbers but still staggeringly high for any artist. Jay Blac have you seen a trailer for GNX? Scru Face Jean was playing something with a short video of Kendric on some new music. It's really gettin' real in the field!!!!
Can't seem to shrug the feeling that Drake being too big to fail for UMG and currently renegotiating his contract/rumors of him going his own way with his catalogue - it'd seem that UMG is benefiting most from Drake taking a knock like this
Tell em Kendrick did it
who showed you how to run a blitz?

Not defamation of character if it's true and what everyone is seeing is that's its not lies when he has been seen with kids on his songs
Kendrick is already up on drake in 2025, he performing at the superbowl and Toronto, twice 🤣
Around the same time as fathers day 👀

Ima be honest kendricks disses are still amazing and so is his new album hes been on a roll in 2024 i believe drake is still done 😂 but great video
As a woman, I can honestly and wholeheartedly attest to the fact that I can give and have never gave two shitz about anything Aubrey has ever done musically! 😂
Yep. I’m a Black woman and feel the same. I am baffled by how many Bl women like Drake. I do not get his appeal at all. Not at all.

Drake engaging in a rap battle with Kendrick was the biggest mistake he has ever made.
It was God’s Plan. Drake was supposed to fall 😂

I mean there was an album that Drake put out that did like 270 or 290 if I’m mistaken and it was also promoted so it’s possible that he can do low numbers but still staggeringly high for any artist.
