Hey guys, I switched from editing on Capcut to Da Vinci (free) and I'm still learning the ropes, but I hope you enjoy the video!!

Beachhead is not famous per se but they cant be too obscure because I surely saw them.
Anyway they are basically stationary shooters similar to this NFT game, so ill focus on differences.
First, not all the games take place on a beach, which is... just funny considering the title. I also don't remember there being a multiple bunkers. The games are also not roguelikes - its all set levels. They get hard later due to limited ammo and some weapons dont work on certain enemies (like machinegun against tanks). Thankfully you can save beetween levels.
I also remember aiming being "pretty floaty" too, but you could get used to it (besides for harder targets you had heat-seeking missiles - precise shooting is rarely requied). However mouse sensitivity was not an issue at all - you could swish like crazy. Also seeing enemies wasn't very hard as it was well contrasted. I mainly blame the sky - older games had bright sky with dark enemies - this has grey enemies on grey sky.
I also remember game having night levels where you cannot see anything outside of your lightsource, so thats an interesting difficulty change.
Overall old games were fine arcade style shooters, solid 6/10 i guess.

Interesting, I only had a quick look while I was making the video and honestly it was pretty jarring seeing this pretty old series randomly come out with an NFT game

Hating on Fortnite for no reason probably by someone who didn't even play it. I hate Epic as much as the next guy but that doesn't make Fortnite a bad game. I'm not even a super big fan of it or anything but that game is super overhated. Cheap jab

I played, Save the World before the BR came out, does that count?
Had to rewatch the vid to see what I said, since I don't remember "hating" on the game and uhh... if you consider THAT to be hating... then sorry I guess?

@@AeonDerpYT Sorry, I overreacted a little bit. You just can't really go anywhere without seeing people shitting on it (who didn't even try it). I know, it was a very, very, VERY small part of the video. (What Epic did to Save the World is pretty sad tbh)
I hope I didn't come across as some asshole. I wish nothing but the best for your channel, it deserves more attention. Keep up the great work!

@@cowhale2488 Hahah, it's alright. My script writing is definitely not good, what I meant to imply by that line was "I don't know that much about Fortnite except that it makes A LOT of money", but I could totally see now it does come off as me implying that it's a bad game.
Tbh I only played during season 1, very casually and it was pretty alright, I fcking sucked tho LOL!!

@@AeonDerpYT Then its just a simple misunderstanding. I started out as a fortnite hater myself, so I'm a bit sensitive to this stuff lol. I started playing it ironically and ended up enjoying it.
Find it really cool how it managed to stay relevant for so long, despite what everyone expected.
Lots of microtransactions but they are only cosmetic and they fund the game, and any actual new content is for completely free. And the gameplay updates are pretty meaningful and regular for a br game anyways (they added an fps gamemode very recently for example).
