I reckon it was because this was the game we all secretly liked but hated because we knew it was the end of an era and that cal of duty would never be the same after it
It’s not a bad game but i didn’t enjoy it at all as a cod game. It was too cinematic, too story oriented, and too focused on fantastical spec ops type gameplay. A-lot of us prefer the cods with little to no “story” that focused on you being part large historic battles like WaW.

Anyway I'm so excited that this week Call Of Duty Mobile will get a 1st anniversary update and also Ghost - Loose End from MW2 will appear in this upcoming season 11 of CODM. I can't wait to get this Ghost because i'm an OG Call Of Duty player. MW2 is my first COD and also my childhood game.

Extintion was good, campain was ok, MP sucked unless you got the map packs. I played untill prestige 8 and I have to say this is when COD started to go downhill. But this game had the best DLC ever I loved the killstreaks that where made for just some maps.

I went back and played Ghosts just yesterday. I’m not going to lie, The story was better than I remembered and actually had a lot of fun in multiplayer. Sadly the extinction servers are dead, so I can’t really talk about that.
The biggest miss of call of duty is them not making ghost 2 in 2023. It would have been so fire if Hesh said it’s been 10 years Logan. Instead we got the worst campaign in cod history and the same multiplayer sense 2019

It’s been 10 years… I really miss this game along with BO2. I remember being 13/14 and coming home from school everyday just to run inside my room and boot up my console. It’s one of my most played cods as well. I hit prestige master like 4 times.

bad writing, graphics could've been made on the same engine as mw2, and mp maps that were just very badly designed (the map size has little to do with them being bad)
keep in mind this is what i think is why people disliked the game... but if you enjoyed the game then hey that's great, i just found that the game felt unfinished...

Sitting outside of gamestop waiting for the doors to open, just to be the first in line. The days of the prime for cod zombies and showing off those sick new camos, the days of all the bois grinding the latest Easter eggs thanks to MrRoflWaffles releasing the video we all were waiting for. These days are cherished not for me. But for all of my comrades who fallen in love with this franchise. Whether you were here from Day 1 or here and started today.
They should do a sequel for the 10th anniversary this year like why not they simply should just remove the small things people complained about then boom we have a masterpiece.

Exactly treyarch has seen all our pleading for ghost 2 and the other day they posted on the official ghost account for Twitter they posted a picture of HESH with his mask and with out and with the caption we thought the battle was over it only had just begun

From what I've heard, Ghosts 2 was in the making, but because people hated this game they decided to cancel the whole thing. I was waiting for a sequel for so long. Wish the CoD community gave it a chance. This was and still is my favorite CoD. It's a damn shame.

I liked ghosts but I ended up leaving because the multiplayer was riddled with bugs that made it unplayable. I wish I had stuck around because it had some of the best maps in COD history, and I loved the create a class system. Plus that campaign was truly phenomenal. I'd argue it was the last great COD game. Everything after just hasn't been the same.

Campaign is my number one out of the franchise. I feel multiplayer was OKAY but just the way everything was set up I feel affected the hate it got (i.e kill feed, maps being so dark shaded, confusing layout of custom classes and personalization [at first] etc.) and personally I never liked extinction, but I know a lot of people who did enjoy it. I would love a ghosts 2 simply for the campaign, need to continue from the cliffhanger they left us on. #FUCKROURKE

The amount of passion that goes into the trailers of old games is amazing. The raw emotion and score is amazing. These days, they just have ridiculous action and some classic song everyone knows like kickstart my heart and welcome to the jungle. This feels personal. In my opinion, COD Ghosts' Campaign was very emotional. When I played this campaign, It made me realize the true emotions of soldiers in war. This is why cod ghosts was my favorite campaign-wise.

This may be an unpopular opinion but I absolutely loved this game. I saw it for 2 euro second-hand and was like ‘hmm sure I’ll give it a go’ and I’m so glad I did. The campaign was just incredible. The sad thing is it’s actually going to be 10 years soon :( I would say I’d love Ghosts 2, but given the state of current CoD games...maybe it would be for the better if they didn’t.

This game was so beautiful. Blindly hated by people, and destroyed the reputation of Infinity Ward. I trust them with the up and coming MW. I really do. IW was the most underrated jetpack game. That game was REALLY amazing in terms of all modes. So smooth.

It's sad that people realized that this game was not bad too late. This game was great and I'm proud of loving the game since it came out. What pisses me of is the fact that the gaming community won't ever stop criticizing and complaining about minimalistic bullshit; there will never be a modern CoD (post BO II) that can be considered a Great CoD.

It’s been 10 years… I really miss this game along with BO2. I remember being 13/14 and coming home from school everyday just to run inside my room and boot up my console. It’s one of my most played cods as well. I hit prestige master like 4 times.

bad writing, graphics could've been made on the same engine as mw2, and mp maps that were just very badly designed (the map size has little to do with them being bad)
keep in mind this is what i think is why people disliked the game... but if you enjoyed the game then hey that's great, i just found that the game felt unfinished...

From what I've heard, Ghosts 2 was in the making, but because people hated this game they decided to cancel the whole thing. I was waiting for a sequel for so long. Wish the CoD community gave it a chance. This was and still is my favorite CoD.

Ghosts 2 was supposed to come in 2016, but after the hate Ghosts 1 got, they scrapped it and made Infinite Warfare.

I never hated on this game, always liked it, it really wasn’t that bad
I liked ghosts but I ended up leaving because the multiplayer was riddled with bugs that made it unplayable.
I wish I had stuck around because it had some of the best maps in COD history, and I loved the create a class system.
Plus that campaign was truly phenomenal. I'd argue it was the last great COD game.

Campaign is my number one out of the franchise. I feel multiplayer was OKAY but just the way everything was set up I feel affected the hate it got (i.e kill feed, maps being so dark shaded, confusing layout of custom classes and personalization [at first] etc.) and personally I never liked extinction, but I know a lot of people who did enjoy it. I would love a ghosts 2 simply for the campaign, need to continue from the cliffhanger they left us on. #FUCKROURKE

In my opinion, COD Ghosts' Campaign was very emotional. When I played this campaign, It made me realize the true emotions of soldiers in war. This is why cod ghosts was my favorite campaign-wise.

This may be an unpopular opinion but I absolutely loved this game.
I saw it for 2 euro second-hand and was like ‘hmm sure I’ll give it a go’ and I’m so glad I did. The campaign was just incredible. The sad thing is it’s actually going to be 10 years soon :(

Crazy how it’s been 10 years since this game was announced. I remember coming from school really excited to see the trailer & i played bo2 right afterwards.
It's sad that people realized that this game was not bad too late. This game was great and I'm proud of loving the game since it came out. What pisses me of is the fact that the gaming community won't ever stop criticizing and complaining about minimalistic bullshit; there will never be a modern CoD (post BO II) that can be considered a Great CoD.
