I just did the endurance Driving Mission of the same Mazda/Tsukuba combo in changeable conditions and it was such a fun drive with good tyres - not sure what the ice rink obsession is 😅
@@tidgney The Mazda TC is a great car on sticky tyres, when they released RA I did hours running the Mazda TC there, then they did the race there with ice tyres.. :/
I think there’s been a focus recently on getting BoP right for gr3 & gr4. I believe that gr2 will get a run pretty soon with the addition of the Toyota GT One.
I hear ya! There’s so many Mazda fans that only want that track. One day I hope we get a Mazda race at the Daytona Oval for some fun drafting! I think it would be super close and fun

Not a horroble week but sad that such a good race at spa isnt followed by something equally or similarly fun. The formula cars? Gr2? Maybe a mid length race C? Ill still play and enjoy but there is so much more potential.
Races B and C were utter disasters. While I did place on the podium in one of the Race C races, the game is handing out 3 second penalties for “cutting pit entrance” when the car is CLEARLY inside the pit lines. Race B everyone is just killing Corvettes! Drove the Corvette and everyone kept ramming me off and then they’d wreck themselves. I think this should have had a thumbs down in the thumbnail cause when did people suddenly feel Spain and WGI are the places to do shameful rams and undeserved penalties?
To be honest yes, WGI in GR4 sounds like fun but it’s a ram fest and it’s definitely the race where if you’re not in the Supra you are dead! The Supra is the new Mazda3 now
Great guides once again Tidge! Hey, my best track Tsukuba is in Race A, and it actually counts for DR! And the first race I run into a car stopped on the start line and drop to 11th! Well, I finished 6th anyway hah.
Does anyone do daily races in VR that can tell me how to adjust my cockpit position in race? Sometimes the race starts and I’m in an awkward position and can’t see out either of my mirrors. Thanks
PD made a mistake in patch 1.44 last week and accidentally gave that car a massive power boost as part of the BOP updates. They ended up banning the car to temporarily address the problem whilst they fix it. They've released patch 1.45 earlier today to fix the BOP mistake so presumably you can use the Ford again.
White doing time trial on Watkins Glen I completely understand lost force feedback on my DD pro right in the middle of the fast lefthander in the final sector. It came back right as I was braking into the final right-hander. I have experienced slight loss of power over the past couple weeks but this was different, it was like the wheelbase turned off, there was nothing.
Your Race C guide was really helpful for me. I'm also in the McLaren. Yesterday I was low 54s. Today, after watching your vid and 200 odd miles of practice, low 53s. Key things I noticed from your guide were: 4th at T1 (I was in 3rd), tighter lines at a couple of the corners, and your smooth transitions on the brakes/throttle. Having the day off today gave me time to try implement what you were doing so I could try to go faster.
Thanks @tidgney! My brake references into T8 are: for TT it’s before the tannoy/lamppost at the top of the hill AFTER the 200 board. For race it’s the guy in the white shirt on his own standing on the hill AFTER the 200 board. He’s easier to pick out in the race than the lamppost. I feel like I’ve out-tidgneyed Tidgney with these markers 😂, but they work for me, maybe someone else also finds them useful 👍
Great video as usual. Good dailies this week. Personally, I still don't like the fact you can't save the tune for your car, but hey ho, it is the same for everyone. Hopefully PD listen to their fans at some stage.

Last 12 Races we had like 2 or 3 non hard tire Races.

Is everyone not tired of GR3 / GR4 every single week. GR1/2 have been completely forgotten about

The BOP in those categories are messed up big time, part of the reason why I think they’ve been avoiding those categories.
If you are under A rank , then change tires on race C . The lobbies are too dirty to rely on defense

Gran Turismo is so shit after getting Iracing. So much more cleaner and realistic. I dont miss GT7 at all
In terms of graphics, GT7 tops all. AC has some very shitty graphics, I’ve had more fun driving my 80hp shitbox IRL
