The thunder wyvern gunlance is gonna go crazy
Railgunlance
I guess we did need a monster that represented the Gun Lance proper. A rail gun monster definitely fits that vibe I suppose.
Nah, like the Glavenus Great Sword in world, lmao
The Lance, too. I adore a good dual-prong design.
Just wait for Rurikhan's review of it. Itll probably be the worst weapon design of the 14 and have the lowest wide shelling level of its Tier.
I'm really curious about what they'll show us, but I quite like the direction where it's going. There's a sense of ugliness in the monsters that show how rough, rugged and dangerous the world is.
We had a sense of that struggle to live with the Rotten Vale, but the colours where still saturated (not as much as the other games though).
If there's no mishap, it will definitly be an adventure worth going on.
I think its mostly because they are desert monsters
You're probably right, but I like to think that the forbiden lands are so harsh that there are 3 kinds of monsters able to survive there:
- The locals shaped by ther environment (ugly but beautifully adapted new monsters and some like odogaron)
- The naturally adaptable & successful species like the Raths, Anjanath or bird wyverns
- The migrators (Seregios) , the vagrants (Tigrex, Rajang) and the invaders (Bazel & Deviljho)
Anyone else notice that the heavy bowgun is shooting rapid fire shots? We could be looking at a bowgun system like in mh tri!!!
5:20 ah yes...the days of eradicating a zone of other life before/during a large monster encounter.
with these monster designs, I have a feeling that the weapon designs will also be crazy. in world, they went for realistic monster and weapon designs. in wilds, they went batshit crazy with the monsters, so it would make sense if we think that they will do the same with the weapons.
Actually I think the monsters in Wilds will look even more realistic then those of Worlds...
That railgun is prolly gonna be a one shot
Maybe only on the "hard" version of the monster like afflicted or alpha, i got a good feeling they will put something like this back with all the "evolution" thing in the lands
it'll probably be the damage equivalent of magnamalo's divebomb. as much as it looks like an elder dragon, it just kinda doesn't either
A ign article claims it can one shot hunters
I'm just happy leviathans are back on the next gen monster! And crossplay is gonna be WILD!
The only thing fun about going back to the Ancient Leshen is when he sends the pack of jagras after one player, its fun seeing my friends slowly die while hearing their screams in the call, we thought that it would be cool to see drome monsters have something like that tbh, so seeing that in a much larger scale is sooooo cool tbh, just hoping it doesn't feel gimmicky or repetitive and annoying.
It was quite scary how they suddenly became aggressive during the Ancient Leshen hunt
Theory : Maybe we will have a chase sequence before the hunt with certain monsters...
2:48 don't call my froggy boi ugly... he has feelings >:(
I don't understand why everything (more specifically every monster) that does not look 'pretty' to people is automatically called 'ugly'... I think there are greyscales inbetween those two words. I mean do you treat human beings the same? Cause that would be quite shallow...
hells yeah. Everything is odd. Lesgoooo
i really like the trailer, the only thing i wish is for more on foot combat
I hope chargeblade get some cool new moves too ^^
We neeeeeed them. Been maining charge blade since GU and really want something fresh besides more counter and defensive options.
Praying for valor repeating axe combo
@@somedude2468 I've been thinking of a more compact axe-mode that would allow a charge attack and some other strong combos too :3
This way, crit might be a lot more viable
the great sword have frontier moves. other weapons will have the same.
7:15 why can't it be a new monster? stop wanting to see old things in new games
No
I want all monster have baby version that roaming randomly on the map and you can catch it as your pet that following you durung the hunt. Even better if they have minor passive skill like +5 Max HP or +3 Fire Res or something. I absolutely going catch them all.❤
I wish they would make each weapon have a simple special move based on the monster it was hunted wt, even if it was only the elder dragons that'd suffice too
2:45 objectively wrong opinion, Chatacabra is adorable and that is law.
fine the chonker gets a pass
Im really hoping the events shown here can occur in multiplayer. It seems like itd be difficult to have these cutscenes transition into group play. So I feel it'll be like MHW in terms of doing things solo until a the fught starts. Which also makes me wonder if hordes of monsters will actually attack you normally, or if it's only scripted events.
Yeah, it does look like early concept art for zinogre, at one point he was a flying wyvern and this shares a couple characteristics with him. To me, the posture of the monster when it's standing on the rock formation looks a lot like a sudo wyvern. meaning it looks like the tigrex skeleton but he can also fly so more like barioth then. We haven't gotten a new monster like that since MH3 so i'm really hyped for this guy, flagship or not.
So far, what we know about this mysterious monster seems to be affecting the storms in the Windward Plains. However, I wonder how this it affects other locales? I have a feeling it's not yet the flagship of Wilds unless they're planning to do multiple flagship monsters.
@@Maki-GS It's possible that it's not the flagship but if there are multiple monsters that affect each map in different ways the flagship may be one of them. That would explain why they said this monster is important, if it's not the flagship.
Balahara's eyes are going SCALLOP rules!
Idk if they are technically eyes but it’s definitely how they “see”
@@Glaggle5275 it's how a scallop sees, they're eyes aren't like ours, they seem to pick up on Something
l Iove how the game is still being worked on, so they're not showing much because of secrecy, but because there rely isnt much else to show!
It is still being worked on, right?
if it was finished why would they wait with the release?
@@headshothunt3r414 What kind of question is that? Don't Starve took a while to come to switch, even though it was done
@@Bloom8182 a gameport is different than the first release. you cant compare a game that was ported and thus had some development work done after its initial main release to a game thats not even released yet
@@headshothunt3r414 I don't know, just this never happened to me before, it always seems like the game was made 2 years ago
I really hope that we will fight giagantic monster on the back of the "bird wyvern"(forgot the name).
It's only speculation but since they show some improvement on the mount fighting compare ton MH rise i can only wait and see
Every good Hunter has to learn to adapt to their environment and how to deal with natural hazards and indigenous life, and how to use them to one's advantage.
I am 100 percent behind what you said. I know we will be severely annoyed by the smaller monster in this game; but when you look at the footage of real animals hunting, aka lions, you can see that despite their stealth, a lot of the kills go bad due to environment or other factors...Real life...
Anyone else think the character models are straight out of Resident evil?
Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm sure that the this game runs on the RE engine to just like rise and the recent resident evil games that were also made by Capcom
Well it is the RE Engine
@itsyaboiguzma I know switch was made in that engine but this is too?

i guess it does look a bit like zinogre, but less garish and stupid looking. I... I dont like Zinogre lol. It just has a lot of unnecessary stuff on its anatomy in my eyes.
This games needs grounded combat, more small mobs, more gathering and more difficulty
That's what makes a good mh
It's the most cinematic nonsense. I am shocked that the gameplay looks so lame and boring like a movie, and not any of the games that I want to play.
Small monsters never stopped attacking. They still do it in Rise if you're close enough, and Delex never stop trying to mess with you, even if it gets them killed.
They're going HEAVY with the Sony cinematic garbage that is nothing but "style" over any real substance. I already see the Sony rot destroying this from the inside, and it is saddening.
The cats talking honestly make me think that there'll be a lot of unnecessary Forspoken type banter.
Honestly, this is probably where I drop the series. I just don't like anything that I've seen, or the direction it's taking.😂
Bro completely forgot how "cinematic" the Mh World trailer looked
Bro really forgot that this game is on PC and XBox as well.
"Sony rot", what a rube.
You seem to be a dramatic person.
I kinda agree but, don't you think you are being a little extreme especially since the game ain't even out.
@@oogabooga1228 I don't know. I just really don't like what I see, and this is a series I have spent a LOT of time with, so it just makes me upset.
