Glad to see u could make checkpoint bases, similar to wildhearts. My favorite thing about wildhearts was always customizing the map in my own way, building camps and other contraptions to make map traversal custom and unique. Glad we can set up our own camps in MHWilds
It's feels so weird that a video with an excited person describing without "videos" what he saw made me more excited and calm than the trailers that were shown. Max is that good!

The Year was 2025, when suddenly an entire population of gamers the size of a small country disappeared from day-to-day life. Into the Wilds. We have yet to hear from them again. -Somebody 2035.
The fact that we can make camps and clash with monsters like in the cinematics has me incredibly hyped, and that's not even counting all of the other things i'm hearing you talk about. Climbing on monsters to carve them instead of just phasing through them, the seasons changes, monsters destroying camps, these are all things a lot of us OG fans have been wanting for years! or in my case 2 decades lol. God I can't wait.

10:25 So basically, focus mode is like the eye of truth from toukiden. They’re literally taking the toukiden route by turning mh into open world and all that focus mode feature thingy and im all for that. Plus the weapon switching reminds me of god eater. Playing all these monster hunter clones was worth it all along! Love how capcom is learning from their competition. Ya’ll should try other mhlike games too!
I just hope that were able to change combat options via rise and go straight in to playing with friends, rather than waiting for one person to catch up in the story. And no randomized gatcha decorations from world.
RNG decos were so bad man. At least in Rise and Sunbreak I only had to deal with one and by the end of it I could get what I want. Hopefully neither are rng based though and I can craft it.
I love what they’re adding so far in this game. Although i do know some people will not love the cinematic hunt feel they are going for as it may break the flow of the hunt or the talking cat and the handler following us in the hunt as i do know some people really don’t like loud npcs which i really don’t get the hate for at all personally. Although none of these really bothers me at all but i know for sure these are few of the complaints we’ll be hearing day 1, and who knows, capcom might also slide in denuvo or some mtx here and there lol. I hope not though, god please i hope not 🙏
Any shot you saw the Seikret fighting along side you in the demos? or are they purely a mount eh? been trying to figure that out myself for awhile now. the trailers kinda have them popping in and out of view during combat and the only time the hunter dismounts during combat the Seikret just sorta stands there.
I was talking with friends about the map size increase and the simplification of combat throughout the games in MHW and beyond. The biggest concerns for us right now stem from how what mechanics are going to make a return in this game. 1) Mission time limits and monster tracking: Most people that played the pre-MHW games have some sense of nostalgia for the hunting and tracking portions of the Monster Hunter games, rather than the “always on” location provided by MHW and Rise. to some degree there was skill to be had in tracking monsters before the time limit expired. I started playing during MHW, and have no such nostalgia for this. However, I do see pros and cons for this approach, given the larger areas. On one hand, I agree that having the permanently marked monsters seems to detract from the experience somewhat. On the other, mid-game monsters often did take the full time-limit to hunt, and I can’t imagine that it’s going to be different in this one. 2) Ecological Population and Invasions The devs seem to be making a big point of a full ecosystem populating each level. Our question was: how many monsters will be active at once? Traditionally, it’s been 3 large (apex) monsters per mission. If the maps are larger, and the herd functionality of the starter monsters isn’t unique, should we expect more monsters to be roaming at once? Does that apply to Invasive Species? Elder Dragons?
I’m wondering with how starting a quest is like. What if you are farming a monster and you’re trying to farm quickly. Will we have to wait for the same monster to respawn?

at 9:20 you mention how the music dynamically changed, in world you can actually hear some monster themes change if they chase YOU for long enough, although it takes long enough that I've only heard it once after 600 hours, it's nice to see how you can split monsters from their pack and in doing so, now hear that version of their theme easier.
Yeah i love the chase themes, zinogre's in rise is extremely good. Now that the game is more open it should be easier to hear them
Where Wyverns Go to Die - chase from Rise/Sunbreak slaps
Every multi-area battle theme in World has a standard, Mount, Chase, and Rage variant that changes depending on whether you’re following a fleeing monster, mounting it, or being chased into another zone by it.
GUIDING LANDS WORLD?!?! im for it
Man the quest selection sounds like exactly what I’ve wanted from Monster Hunter. So psyched for this game.
Damn I'm jealous, can't wait till 2025
Hold on... pop an SoS and 3 NPC hunters roll out!?
Praise be! They thought about us lonely solo hunters!!
Yeah feels lonely out there in the field but then again i dont want players to do most of the work for me so npc teammates sounds like my type of stuff
Hope that that’ll make some of the post game hunts a bit more… feasible for us
Seems like they add back the Rasta from frontier Z, nice
Yeah, when I heard that, my mind immediately went to the follower system in Monster Hunter Rise. Can't wait!

Wait there was a playable build at SGF?! I thought they said it was gonna be at gamescom, or was that "Public" available
demo was hands-off only, a demonstration like max said.
It was a behind closed doors demo to journalists and 'influencers' and such
I think on SGF people only watched a gameplay; on Gamescon it will be playable for the public.
It was a gameplay demo for media, the devs played it and demonstrated it. Gamescom will be the first time the game is playable to anyone else
It looks like it was a presented demo. Max didn't play it himself
Sometimes, I just wonder... What kind of Messed up Super Earth sized, Exo Planet they live on in the Monster Hunter universe?
... with multiple different gravity zones.
There are in game maps that show the overall shape of the world.. otherwise the size of the world can be explained by the fact every new locale is actually fa different part of the same locale (ex. Volcano, desert, icefield..) except world which is you know a different continent

Every mainline MH is a sequel, it's cool we're getting the main cast of Gen4 back in Wilds. The sneak attack sounds like they condensed the opening clutch claw wall bang and made it less of a hassle.

I know lots of people liked Rise more than World because it kinda went back to the classic MH stuff... But personally, I loved being able to drop in the island with the cammo mantle and just watch as the monsters and animals interacted with each other, taking pictures, finding the weird mini-fauna... I'm so glad Wilds go back to that to some degree.

My favore video about Monster Hunter Wilds on the internet. Thanks Max for your report. Hype is here. Can't wait.
Almost every system I own is solely because of monster hunter. I bought a Wii U for monster hunter 3U, a (monster hunter edition) 3DS for Monster Hunter 4U, a (Rathalos edition) PS4 for MHW, a Switch for MHR, and now I'll probably be buying a PS5 for this.
1200 hours and I still get turned around in ancient forest. This gonna be amazing
This is the first game that I felt like grinding is actually can be enjoyable.
Its wild to see a series I've been playing since the 3ds, finally get the love, respect, and budget it deserves
The "Season" thing in Wilds reminds me of Seasons from MH2DOS, which I loved back when playing PS2 :)
Good for everyone , a real present for the MH fans that have been with the series way before world.
Thanks Capcom.
A Hunter Is A Hunter….Even in a desert-Micolash
This game is just a hunters dream for now tho
Thank you so much for all the juicy details. This has me so incredibly hyped and i look forward to sinking hours upon hours into this beautiful game. SO to my GL, CB, and HH bros
Thank you Max!! Omg I'm now even more excited about this game 🎉❤
One of the things that i'm worried about is how they'll handle the gear decorations with multiple weapons.
Same way they did in world
I guess you can say monster Hunter Wilds is pretty……
WILD
Every time they come out with a new version. It gets better and better. I'm sooo excited for this one. Forget getting just the standard version. I want the Deluxe. And I'm taking at least 2 to 3 days off to play. Not leaving my office for nothing. Oh crap, I forgot....great video.
This is all sounds so sick, I can't wait
Can I wishlist more than once? I’m excited for this!!!
What I would really like that we could play as the palicos again as in monster hunter xx, most fun I had on the franchise
waiting to see a comment like this, prowler needs to be real in a more recent title, XX/GU is one of the most enjoyable titles that often gets overshadowed by MHW and Rise
Imagine if that was the "new weapon" that we all want and they will release it in the expasion or something like that
That was really fun haha. Makes me want to go back and play it again
I don't think I've ever heard max this excited and impressed by a demo presentation for ANY game in all the years I've been following his content
I was already incredibly hyped, but GODDAMN ❤
As someone that put well over 2k hours into world/iceborne and well over 1k into rise and sunbreak. I'd say I'm ready, I'm absolutely ready.
My wife and I play these games together and we are both ready.
Super hype. Thanks for your coverage.
I love the clutch claw as HBG where you jump up and then fire a round in it's mouth, BUT NOW I GET A PARRY AND DO THAT?!
HBG Users eating good tonight
I asume when you have the shield mod on a HBG you can have a clash.
Apparently, bowguns are also getting a hefty rework in this game.
I can’t wait for the release of the game and I hope that this one also gets a steelbook release
There sounds like there'd be an amount of busy work involved, but it'll probably all feel right in practice.
I hope I can get this on release so I can take the game slow. Had a shit pc for years and only recently played through world and rise and I feel like I rushed through those games

God I cannot wait for this to come out! This game is gonna overthrow mh world as Capcoms best selling game of all time for sure.
I love monster hunter so much. I started playing MHW and I just fell in love. I couldn't get into the older ones though, maybe it's just a skill issue but the controller seemed roo janky and hard to control lol. But I am so excited for this game
Same with world, iceborne, rise, and sunbreak - I'm gonna have to call in sick to work for 2 or 3 days for the release date of this game. 😂
Thank you for this video Max, this is exactly what i wanted from the Monster Hunter series, i'm extremely excited for this game!
Food porn is crazy 💀
I hope not though, god please i hope not 🙏
We need a hide mantle option, if mantles are back.
we do cause I didn't see any in monster hunter world
Any shot you saw the Seikret fighting along side you in the demos? or are they purely a mount eh?
been trying to figure that out myself for awhile now. the trailers kinda have them popping in and out of view during combat and the only time the hunter dismounts during combat the Seikret just sorta stands there.
You lucky bastard!
To no ones suprise the game delivered on everything promised. MH never fails to impress
2) Ecological Population and Invasions
The devs seem to be making a big point of a full ecosystem populating each level.
Already got 1700+ hours in world… wilds is gonna take my soul
If the performance was that good, I'm kinda curious if we have any idea on what rig it ran
Also hurray for food porn
I’m wondering with how starting a quest is like. What if you are farming a monster and you’re trying to farm quickly. Will we have to wait for the same monster to respawn?
I miss the days when someone would take one for the team record cam footage of these private sessions and upload them for everyone to see.
games not gonna be in ur hands any sooner, just wait lol you dont need everything right this second you probably got shit to do
