I just found these videos, which are awesome btw. But just wanted to share for others, I just got into PT school with about a 3.3-3.4 GPA and will be 28 when I start in May. My biggest tip is try and visit the program in person before interviews and work experience can make up for grades to an extent. Good luck!
Thank you for sharing your experience!! And i would have to agree! GPA isn’t everything!! Most programs look at the whole picture so making sure other parts of your app make up for the GPA is critical
Would you recommend printing out the document for the physical therapist to sign or electronically? Would both options work? And would you recommend using separate documents when seeing a different physical therapist for hours or can you just use one document to log the hours with all the pts?
Dear Justin, thank you soo much for sharing it was a ton of informative information in this video. I'm very interested in pt school and I'm planning to get starting my observation hours during my summer vacation. I would definitely call any pt clinic around me tomorrow haha. Also, I'm studying at the community college and I will apply as a Kinesiology major by next year, is it okay to start doing observation hours right now? I know you receive a lot of emails from the student, if you see this please let me know thank you so much!
Loved the video! I’ve got a question about verifying hours as an aide. By the time I apply I’ll probably have roughly 1200+ hours working as an aide, but I feel like using the form you provide will be just sooooooo much. And asking the PT to sign it everyday for over a year seems like it could get annoying. Any suggestions?
Do you think if I have old observation hours I should bother submitting them? I already have 400 but I have some from 6 years ago when I was in my college undergrad.
You just saved me so much stress. You’re awesome! I’m trying to get myself going to get ready to apply for PT school. Your help is amazing

Thank you for uploading these informative videos! As a recent college grad who is leaning towards a career in PT, they've been extremely helpful.
So glad! This video and my channel has been helpful!

Appreciate you so much for the observation hour log!! I begin my hours next week and have my sheet printed out 😄
You’re welcome! When do you plan to apply to PT school?

It is super ok to start doing observation hours! Have you started?

You could just keep track of them in bulk and ask them to sign at the end of the week. Great job having a ton of hours!

I think it wouldn’t hurt your application. However i do think its a bit outdated.
@liftforchange do you recommend listing all the hours worked on a single sheet for each clinic or just the total hours for each clinic on the sheet.
