    Guys your intros are getting SO GOOD! We are so so impressed. Keep it up. Lol dang those pirates! And those walls are so beautiful. They remind us of San Juan

      Thank you so much on the kind words about the intros! Those walls are very similar to San Juan. Also very colorful like San Juan!

    Love the beautiful colonial architecture! Always a fan of coastal cities, and it was really cool to hear about the history of pirate invasions. Congrats on finding your coconut pirate pin for a reasonable price!

      We loved the architecture too! It is a pretty wild history, especially for a lesser known city. Thanks!

    I didn't expect Campeche to be so quiet and so colorful - it looks much more authentic than The Yucatan and The Riviera Maya 🙌 Giggling at the hat lady😅😅😅 We've put that tram on our list of things to do in Campeche, it looks like a great way to explore 🙌 Calle 59 looks like a dream to take some pretty pictures, just like Katy said 📸 Glad you guys found that Cantina - lots of free food 🤩 Yayyy, for the coconut pirate pin - it's cute ☺

    • @WITYTRAVELS
      @WITYTRAVELS  2 года назад

      Hey friends! Campeche gets a little busier in the evening. Probably due to its heat, but we were excited to get out and see the town. Eating breakfast doesn't seem like the ideal time for a hat fitting, but what do we know? Calle 59 is their most popular street, and we can see why. We love Cantinas!

    Ok one last comment 😉… I loved Campeche! The super blue water and gorgeous palm trees got me right away, but the lovely colourful buildings and history really sealed the deal! And I was amazed how empty the streets were! Was it 8am on a Sunday?

    • @WITYTRAVELS
      @WITYTRAVELS  2 года назад

      It was like 11 am on Sunday. Maybe people were still at church? Campeche is really nice, and we are glad that we were able to visit that city. Any place with palm trees is a winner for us. We always learn so much about history as we travel and we never get sick of the colorful buildings in Mexico!

    Such a beautiful area! The architecture and colors reminds me so much of Spain! But that makes sense right 😂 Did Will just say you love markets?? I had no idea 😂😂😂😂 Yepp the live music reminds me of Spain too!! The food looks amazing! Thanks for taking us with you!

    Cool video. The water looks amazing. It’s always interesting crossing a busy road on a different country! I guess you learn fast their road/pedestrian rules!!love how colourful that 2nd street was. The temple was cool, so tall! Mmmm top breakfast! What a colourful place. That’s great value for the tour. We enjoyed riding along with you. Wow and icecream ice pop!! That was a big market. It looks like a lovely place to visit. Cheers 🍻

    I can just listen to both of you talk all day, you are both so eloquent 🤩🙌 I must say, the fact that drivers are so courteous there really surprised us. Over here in The Riviera Maya one of our main complaints is that the drivers have no respect for pedestrians here 💀 Framboyanes - I remember you guys pointing one out when we were with you 😍

    I can see that racing car at the start of the video powering through the streets of Monte Carlo! I don't think it would beat my Porsche though! 😏. Breakfast looked.... interesting let's say, I like the hat fitting whilst you were eating. Talk about getting the most out of your time. Great deal with the trolley bus tour, love the colours of the buildings and the architecture - all looks so bright and appealing in the sun. Pirate shop was cool, amazing what you find when you're out for a stroll, liked the selection of pins in the shop after the museum. Glad you found something you liked! You know the drill right, as soon as you buy something you're sure to find exactly what you're looking for at the very next store!

    • @WITYTRAVELS
      @WITYTRAVELS  2 года назад

      Matt, no car is beating your Porsche in a race! We had to show the picture of the previous time we got that breakfast in Mexico, to show its potential. That was the best deal in a long time; can't believe we had an hour tour all over the city for only $5 a person. Plus it was in English and Spanish. If we had the room, we could have spent a lot of money at that thrift store. We loved those kind go shops when we were in Florida. The hard part about pins is they aren't always as cool as a whale share one! lol.

    Wow. Quite yet charming town. Looks like a perfect holiday destination. Yes that area does look like Jurassic era..glad you didn't meet any trex 😂. . Loved the Spanish architecture of the city. So vibrant and so colourful 😍 who can say no to the free snacks in the bar 😊

    Please explain your souvenir strategy to me: stickers vs pins vs patches. I feel like you’ve alternated?

    • @WITYTRAVELS
      @WITYTRAVELS  2 года назад +1

      Lol. So... we started off getting a sticker and a patch for each country. The stickers we put on a water bottle. The patches to go on a blanket later on. We already have a sticker and a patch for Mexico, so the goal is to get a pin in each Mexico state like Yucatan, Quintana Roo, Campeche, etc. In our next country we will just collect patches in each city because pins are too hard to find and the stickers fade too fast on the bottle. Patches are actually easy to find and there are much nicer options than pins. Sorry for the confusion! Lol

    • @MagentaOtterTravels
      @MagentaOtterTravels 2 года назад

      @@WITYTRAVELS no confusion… just interested. Thanks for explaining!💕
