Because of you trip through this area, we are on week 6 of our tour thru the area. Thanks for recommending Campeche, it is magical and we also rang the bell!
We must have just missed you. We parked for two nights, including Christmas, at the new aquatic center at the south end of the malecón. The Sectur Campeche folks told us it was fine for overnight parking. As it was Christmas the center was closed, but ordinarily it would have been open and the best part is it's FREE! Free showers, too.
San Francisco de Campeche, or Campeche as it's known locally, is a city in one of the safest states in Mexico and also one of the country's most scenic. The city is one of the most charming and least-visited gems on the Gulf of Mexico; a wonderful alternative to tourist hotspots like Merida and Cancun.
Love your videos but I think this is the best! Hats off to you for taking such an adventure! I could never and wouldn't feel comfortable takings such an RV trip. Thanks for sharing and showing everyone another side of Mexico that is never shown via the media here in the states.
I love looking at the historical parts of wherever we stay and I would love walking the wall. Glad you found a spot to sleep and a safe spot too. ❤️🇨🇦❤️ Cheers!!!
A real beautiful City , last year our plan was to visit Progreso in Yucatan but thanks to Covid we did no make it but is close to Campeche and is a Port also ,,, enjoy you vacation Liz and Danis
One of our favorite cities. Note many superior hotels in the old city are only $25-40 per night! There are 2 other forts just outside the city with fantastic views as well.
Hola bienvenidos a campeche, me apareció la recomendación de este video sobre mi ciudad y estuvo muy interesante, saludos y sigan disfrutando de mi ciudad
Im glad you like te city there Is a few Places you missed but the coments are so accurate whishing You to come back soon by the way im gama the guy who talk to You when You park youre scooter :)
If you try to ring a bell that size as loud as you can, you'll still be ringing a half hour later. Maybe you'll still hear it (ringing in your ears) when you try to go to sleep that night. 😳😳😳
I'll start with " Oh wow ( @9:50)! Beautiful. Back to the city itself. How lovely and as I can appreciate and enjoy walking round castle (+ ruins) I loved the fortress. I agree with you Liz, gorgeous architecture. Loved the hat Dennis( Eagle statue pose) . So enjoy your fresh and fun filled videos. Happy RV-ing and stay safe. 👍 🎥 🙏 🙋♀️
Hello beautiful couple!!! Your Spanish is very very good yay! 😊 Keep coming with these great videos Greetings from gorgreous Santa Monica California USA
Great video as always! The food the drinks and the sites are all enticing. We’re enjoying a little down time at the ranch with our new 7 week old Corgi puppy. She is a delight and will be a nice addition to our traveling circus. Be safe y’all! Dan - Oklahoma’s Tumbleweeds
Hey guys did you offer a MORDIDA (bribe) to the guy from homedepot? that's how we make things happen.....Great video and thank you for sharing great stuff from my home country
Haha no, we try to avoid perpetuating that system even if it is how things get done here. We luckily found a place just wasn't something we would have expected. Also they lock the gate empty at night so I don't think a mordida would have worked in this case. - Liz
This is great! Love your vid. I'm in Oaxaca City now. Campeche looks wonderful. Did you have any problems with your RV driving in Mexico? I'm thinking about coming back in my van. Thank you!
Go for it! No we've loved traveling here with our RV. There's definitely challenges with road conditions, parking, amenities if you choose to boondock/free camp, but it's worth it to us - Liz
@@EatSeeRV thank you for your message, I was wondering as I have USA plates and have heard about travelers having a bit of trouble being stopped by police for no reason, bribes etc. Yes I miss my van now! But I have noticed safe parking is a big issue here. On the other hand you can stay places farther from the center of towns so maybe more peace and quiet.
Gracias Hey everybody, i have a question. When you get a flu for example, where do you go for a medical assistant? Do you have ensurance or do you prefer a private medical assistant in hotel? Thank you all.

And please be Alert that soon Mexico will have a Fast Speed Train called #TRENMAYA which goes all Over YUCATÁN peninsula 5 States will be communicated TABASCO , CAMPECHE , Yucatán , Quintana Roo y Chiapas ! We often do just to make sure we're following local laws which can vary by city or state. Since we're moving frequently we don't always know if their mandated or not.
You should’ve ordered the empanada de cazón. They are good. Although, maybe not something that I would eat very often, but every once in a while when the cravings demand it. They are definitely worth it and super good.
