The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost

After shooting this video in the Florida State Park on Amelia Island, I had to add the brilliant words of Robert Frost. That's the feeling I get each time I make this drive. No amount of video editing will make it feel as special as it is in person, but I did my best.

So odd that I never considered before that people outside of Vermont love Frost’s poetry and apply it to their landscapes too. As a Vermonter, so much of his work resonates so very deeply with the land and culture of this state that I never thought of it.

So true. This was a favorite poem I recited often in my teens over 50 years ago. I recited it over and over when I decided to enter the USAF at age 19. It was the road less taken, especially for this farm gal, but it has ‘made all the difference’ even after all these years.
