I don’t know if this will help anyone else but I think for myself whenever I notice myself crying (or just feeling some hard feelings) I’m gonna use those tears as a notification almost that I need rain. I thought this may be helpful because when you’re caught up in those feelings it can be hard to remember the tools you have within you. 🌧💗☺️
I am at 85-year-old widow, I have been watching Tara branch and enjoying her very much, I have lot of pain du to surgery on my neck I had in 84, my feet are messed up duty surgery’s,on them, I had a wonderful woman living with me and helping me, my kids want me to move out there way and got rid of BOBBY my dog, I want to stay in my home, and keep my dog,
You are heaven sent Tara. I keep sending endless love out to the world and keep forgetting to do the same for myself. Thank you for being my wiser voice at times that I can not hear it. Namaste.
Hello Tara Brach. Thank you very much for sharing your teachings; I am grateful for having your sessions made available, where I can watch and listen numerous times, when I feel I need to go back again and again on a point that makes more sense at this time. Thank you for teachings on compassion and self-actualisation with much humanity, explaining the knowledge of psychology in the everyday situations we come across in one way or another, and making them more simple to grasp for those like me who need modified versions...... :) :) :)
Thank you Tara really great to listen to you> have to have more self compassion to get me through troubled times. I need to serender and take control of my monkey mind and take control of my life
Thank you, Tara! Your talk was exactly what I needed to listen to at the end of my day. (Your way of speaking and your topics are calming, interesting, make me smile and think. I woke up thinking about your words this morning. Self-compassion sets my day's intentions beautifully.
@@Dee33300 I’m glad you commented and drew me back to this beauty. Glad to know it was 4 yrs ago I took in this wisdom. Yet, I listen again today and cry so hard. Everything will be ok.
chilloften everything will be okay ❤️ and if it makes you feel any better, my therapist will tell me the same thing that she’s describing here (so i’ve already heard it before) but even so, this definitely brought me to tears.
I love this (and all of Tara's talks). They make so much sense when listening. But I find RAIN hard to do in practice. I am a reasonably intelligent person, but when it comes to dealing with my mind and body (along with the traumas I've experienced, I find it hard to do for various reasons. Right from the beginning - R - it's hard to even stop and remember to practice RAIN. If I do recall the RAIN, then it's difficult to recognise what is going on. A for Allow is OK, but Investigate is tough too. Nurture is reasonably OK, but After The Rain is tough too. Does this ring bells with anyone or any tips?
I dont think im unworthy yet i feel depressed & anxious... Selected few of us need this & not the whole world as they seem like they know how to live already.
I've bought the book (Radical Compassion) which I'm appreciating - wish it had an index tho. It seems daft that I need to ask (I'm a man!), but when practising RAIN (with `uprooting painful/negative beliefs' in her book ) I find myself crying so often at the R (recognise) stage with my particular beliefs . Is this others' experiences?
+Rich Allen - (R)ecognise - (A)llow - (I)nvestigate with kindness - (N)ourish with compassion. - Recognise what you are feeling. Allow life and what is here to be just so. Investigate what is here with loving-kindness. Nourish what is here with compassion.

RAIN: recognize, allow, investigate, nurture
I love Tara but wish she could do something about dry mouth as it is distracting.
so what is the rain acronym?
+Rich Allen right??
