I thought I was alone lol
I have started wearing a smartwatch to track fitness and sleep info and I wear a normal mechanical watch because I love watches in general and just use that watch to look at the time.

Got rid of my Apple Watch and now wear a FitBit on my right and my mechanical watch on the left. The Apple Watch worked great but the investment in regular watches has a much better return on your money (depending on what you buy) compared to having to buy a new Apple Watch every refresh cycle. The FitBit holds its charge for a week compared to having to recharge the Apple Watch every day. If Apple ever makes a fitness tracker that is less like a watch and holds its charge longer than a day, I might reconsider that. But, for now, this system is working great for me.

Charles I do the same. Sometimes wear the Fitbit in a clip. Since there's no ability to transfer the heartrate data into Apple Health (only a single point or average for the entire day) I have found I use the Fitbit clip more often as a fancy pedometer. An Apple tracker (maybe a watch with no display) would be my ideal.

I’ve been struggling with this for a while. I started playing around while watching this video and got to this:
mechanical watch on left wrist and very slim/simple bracelet on the right with the Apple Watch backwards (face on inside of wrist with the Milanese band) It ends up looking like 2 bracelets. I still feel like a power ranger and not in a good way 😂

I've been considering this. I am trying to lose weight again and I use a Garmin watch to track my progress. My Garmin Fenix 5X (with which I lost 100 lbs) was my most expensive watch I purchased until I got my Garmin Marq. I wish Garmin made a fitness tracker that could be worn stealthy so that I can wear whatever watch.

I think its normal. on base at FT Bragg, all the special forces guys and Delta guys wear 2 watches. They have a mission pad on their right sleeve, basically a military computer, and a Garmin Tactix Military Version made just for them wore underwrist on their left hands, and a Samsung Tactical Smart Watch military on their right arm, but the right arm watch is wore backwards so it looks upside down to them but if they raise their arm in firing positions the person next to them can see and read it. They have alot of cool tech. But I don't think we can get their stuff, the Garmin Tactic they have is much different from the one I see on Amazon and the Samsung Tactical Smartwatch is made by Samsung Military Division or something and it hooks up to their Samsung Military Smartphone as well as the Mission pad. It's pretty cool stuff

I do that sometimes, the only time I wear a regular watch by itself will be a party. If I want to wear a nice watch somewhere I will wear my smart watch as well. I don't care about the notifications, but all the other features are just not ideal to go without. Nowadays 99% of the time I just wear my smart watch, I have a watch collection but it's been relegated to special occasions.
There's no way I'd ever wear two mechanicals! I don't see the point.

I wear an apple watch to track my fitness throughout the day, but also wear a Timex expedition above the apple watch for the time. This saves the battery on the apple watch as I am not continually switching the display on.
I like to wear a leather cuff with my apple watch with a leather cover over the watch face and also have the apple watch inside an amband moving fortess pro stainless case with a screen protector as well. Sme might think it is a little over the top for protection, but I know unless I get my wrist run over buy a truck it should be okay.
I wear the Timex above the apple watch cuff with an infinite adjustable strap so I can get exactly the right tension to stop the watch rotating around my wrist.
Good vid, love that chrono, like n sub from me.

I think wearing a mechanical and a large fitbit or apple watch looks silly. Wearing two mechanical watches? Really bad taste. If you collect watches just alternate which ones you wear. I wear the smallest fitbit, which looks more like a black unisex bracelet and disappears under a shirt sleeve, along with a traditional mechanical watch on my left hand. If i am working out I leave the mechanical at home. I don't love the look, but I've resigned myself to it, since I am hooked on the fitbit, but still like to wear a classic mechanicals when appropriate.

To me, wearing an apple watch was a bit downing, since i have to charge it everyday n also it feels a bit big on the wrist. What’s on my thought was a smaller smartwatch, for example xiomi mi band 7 that were actually small enough, so it feel more to like a band compare to a watch.

    Sometimes I dual-smartwatch.
The main wrist for a Garmin, and sometimes the second one for a Galaxy Watch with LTE.
Garmin is a better brand than the others regarding data privacy IMO, especially for health-related data (they're even okay with us just giving a nickname), and the battery life is quite impressive with an always-on MIP display, and has offline maps.
As for the Galaxy Watch (so, with health data disabled) it's like having a mini-smartphone that also accepts more banks on Samsung Pay or Google Pay than Garmin Pay.

I think the verdict is already out on this one, consensus is it looks goofy, awkward and definitely not stylish. one of each or two normal watches. it really is a tough one, i hope someone makes smart watch BANDS that you can attach your normal watch to. best of both worlds. or you know actually creating good looking smart watches that will last 100 years like a watch should (but they wont because they rely on you buying a new one every few years. Again just because something is becoming normal that doesnt mean its a good thing. its normal to be obese and not exercise its normal to eat bad foods, its normal to not have friends over for dinner.
Theres smart rings which may be the answer to our prayers, but the best of them are madly expensive and look garbage imho..
haha sorry if that was an abrasive message but i just totally disagree. You're clearly doing something in the fashion space and you're looking sharp and that's important for your credibility, double wristing (hilarious name) takes away from your stylish look and makes you lose some of that credibility. Anyway wish you all the best mate and congratulations on the growing success of your channel

You didn't need to explain the rationale of wanting to wear a smart watch, Captain Obvious. Very long winded. Honestly nothing needs to be said as it is entirely a preferential thing, and I think you are just trying to defend yourself for no reason whatsoever. People think what they want and nothing you can say will change anything. You wanna rock 2 watches, cool. If you get a strange look, so be it, that's what people do as it is not the norm. Your idea that it's catching on is just more justification because it isn't. Maybe 1 in several thousand owners might do this, so the chance I might run into someone doing this is extremely slim. I rock two watches, but two smart watches, one Galaxy Watch (currently 4 Classic), and an Apple Watch. Both provide similar functionality, but I also carry both my phones me as it is my business. I have yet to see anyone notice, smirk, much less comment on it. When I do get comments, it's always with the Galaxy 4 Classic. So far I've gotten complimented 4 times on my Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, and none on the Apple watch lol. Anyway, if I saw a person wearing multiple watches, I wouldn't think twice, to be completely honest. There are watch enthusiasts, and some just love their watches enough wear them simultaneous, regardless of what type of watch. I've seen some younger gen wear multiple watches on one arm, in the same way they'd wear multiple bracelets. Everything people do regarding this you can always rule it as a fashion statement if anything.
