I legit love this idea. Let’s be honest the functionality of a digital watch is superior to a classic watch, but the aesthetics and tradition of a classic watch is hard to pass up. Aesthetics matter and attempts to smash the two into one watch don’t usually turn out so well (although I do miss the old ana digis). It’s a slick idea.
You just blew my mind! I love traditional watches, but I simply rely on the alarm and timer functionality of my Gshock too much. But now, because of this video, I can have the best of both worlds! My Gshock is too large to accomplish this of course so now I'm on the hunt for a small digital watch with a timer, as the F91w's lack of a timer is a deal breaker for me.
Hey man! Thanks for this idea, i wear a divewatch as default, and now all of a sudden i have all the functions carrying a small digital casio in my jeans pocket! I feel amazing now, complete :D
I've always said that the F-91W is the perfect watch for those times and places you may not want to wear your expensive timepiece. Now I can also say that the F-91W is the perfect watch to compliment your more expensive timepiece. And your video TGV proves it.
Many people in the watch space publish videos attempting to show the credibility of new and novel watch ideas, but this is surprisingly something that is quite fascinatingly tangible, especially on a less formal NATO and with a dive watch like that Tudor. Fantastic combination, and it really fits the classic Tudor tactical-casual aesthetic.
It's bonkers! I love it and I'm going to do it! Likely though, to satisfy my OCD anxiety, with a quartz diver to keep the seconds bang on. Great idea and it gets the F91W out of the dusty drawer. 👍

Hello!, and thank you very much for another thread. This is a very good idea, and you got the reason as well, the humble Casio F91-W is cheap but at the same time it is really tough!. I had wore when I was spear-fishing even in a 20 m. depth. Resisted in that way several years of use, three times per week, only having several scratches in his plastic cover. Your advice is also welcome because I like jogging and also going outside for a walk in the nature and this is a fantastic complement. Together with compass and bullbars protection the nylon NATO strap is unbeatable. I wouldn't wear a Rolex Explorer on it but rather a Hamilton Kahqui Fiel f.ex. or a Seiko Alpinist or those of many different 5's, etc.... Thank you once more for bring us this horological joy TGV! Hello TGV! Great video. I´ve been using a smartband as a secondary watch for several months now. I wear it military style in the same wrist, after my watch of choice. Most of the time it´s hidden under the sleeve. So, I get all the health functionalities and computing fancyness without sacrifying the enjoyment of wearing my favourite watch. Works for me. Thanks for all the entertainment! Cheers!
Hello friend, wanted to give an update on my luxury watch purchase. I couldn't wait any longer for a Sub. Instead, I purchased a black seamaster. I was offered the opportunity to purchase a smooth bezel datejust, but honestly love dive watches too much. Went with the black seamaster and I'm loving it.
If you want to improve on this I would recommend looking into the F84W. Alone it's a better choice for a strap as it has normal lugs and it's smaller in size to the f91W. Harder to get but no more expensive
Im planning to do it with my duro batman it has the half blue half blac bezel pair it with a black f91 with the blue accents ooufff might be a good combo.

I Like it. Especially with the Explorer (My favorite watch, due to it's history, achievements etc) and the Casio F-91W, the first watch I really gave a damn about.
I backpacked through Europe from Australia back in 1990. I wore a Casio of all things as my daily, but when I went to the USSR, I bought a Russian Vostok (actually I bought several as souvenirs!🤭). That was then worn on my opposite wrist with Australian time.👍🏼😎🇦🇺
I literally did this four months ago with a Seiko 5 on a Nato strap and a G-SHOCK using the G-SHOCK's caseback screws to hold it in place. The mod worked just fine and was really sturdy. Undid it though, because the module felt uncomfortable, when resting my wrist. Guess it would be a little less of a problem with the slim Casio, but still a nuisance. Both watches are still fine. Couple g-shocks, a f91w, a couple that kinda looked like a f91w, and thing that was basically a mini f91w. I couldn't seem to find a reference number, but it was cute in a "if my 3 year old needed a watch" kind of way. Oddly, other than the g-shocks, the most expensive casio was actually the f91w, which was $15, while the other casio digital (including the mini thing) were $10.

I Schwarzkopf a regular watch on the left (right now, the Direnzo DRZ04 in white) and a 40mm Apple Watch - with all its capabilities - on the right. @@theurbangentry lol! I just watched Tim do a watch review so apparently my brain cannot comprehend all of the watch content I'm consuming!
Well ….. well I do like the idea but having a 5k watch attached to 10 buck watch is too far away from each other!!!;). I think if you were that concerned with a 2nd time one you would get either a mechanical GMT!! Or get a 30 bucks Casio world time! What I would say T is have you seen the new (old) Casio A100’s due to come out soon! I will definitely be rocking the 2 watch side by side Ripley style!!!!! As always have a good week
Off the hook and I love it. Ciao Bene.
This a very cool idea. Thanks!
I love this here is to making watches more fun to wear love the video
Wow! I’ll definitely try this! Thank you!
