What attention to detail! Not just the tents, but the production of this video and narration. Nice job!

Helsport make very nice looking tunnel tents, also a Swedish company I believe.
Their tents also have 2 main vents, one at either end. Which i would have thought would be better for air flow, especially in windy conditions. Having the air be able to move through the tent would be better for minimising condensation and would help even out the pressure from the outside of the tent, making it more stable in higher winds. Or so I would have thought. This is my one issue with this tent.

You can see the repaired tent on youtube under Nallo gt hurt part two..part one for the damage video..Yes the tent is fine now..And as strong as ever..I also can get a new fly for it so its all good now.

@Raythetree001 Sad to read you have been assaulted. On you first trip you say? What happened to have the tent ripped? Is it so, because of the strong fabric and tear resistance you still have a tent? I’m currently doing my research about tents. The Hilleberg looks like one of the best one can buy. But I’m somewhat afraid about what has happened to you. It’s a very expensive line of tents. Is that why you where attacked or just because you where there? Which is not a reason at all of course.

Does anyone know what the preferred pitching direction of this tent is when pitching in the wind? The reason I ask is because there is only one vent. I would have thought that having the wind blowing in to the vent would be better for evening out the pressure in high winds. But there is no exit vent for the the air flow. So would doing this causes the tent to balloon up?

Maloclips Hilleberg recommends facing the wind with the front, air will flow through top front vent to the back bottom vent. Also this avoids the outer back to blow up against the inner, making it wet.

why in the hell should they be responsible for your tent that was damaged by criminals. Insurance? Restitution? Shit man that sucks but to beat them up because they didn't just shit you out a new tent is entitlement bullshit.

We own a Nallo gt..After which was ripped when we were attacked by criminals on the pennine way uk.I emailed hilleberg and told them i was stuck in the wilderness..You just said what do you want us to do.It was the tents first outing and its now repaired but patched up.I would have expected more sympathy from a family company..the offer of a cheap flysheet etc.So a good tent yes..but the after sales care is rotten..my nallo has cost me 830 pounds altogether!!!!!

I realise this is 8 years later, but....
You bought a tent which was presumably in perfect condition when you received it, you went out, you got attacked and the fly got torn and so you contacted the manufacturer of the tent and demanded they help, then complained publicly when they didn’t...
      Seriously?
      Christ, talk about feeling entitled!

@@wittsend541 I agree andn thought the same thing...except no idea what Christ had to do about it, other than, maybe keeping them alive as opposed to being killed. Great tents I think, sad to hear about the alleged "attack". In the US, the law states you may have a firearm in your "domain", thus a firearm in your tent for protection.
