前回のMokulito LIVE 63の木版刷りを活かすため、二版目は木リトで、油膜や木目が出ないようにピンクの版を作りました。
木リトにはカゼイン方式、ニカワ方式などいくつかのやり方があるのですが、今回のシリコーンを使うやり方はその中の1つです。
ウォータレスリトグラフはカナダの版画家ニックスメノフ氏が発明した版画の技法です。加藤茂外次氏はこれを木の板に応用する方法を考案、それがウォータレス木リトです。

Mokulito LIVE 64 Waterless Mokulito （making the second layer）
This time, I applied varnish to the entire surface so that the grain did not appear, and made the second layer with Waterless Mokulito.
Mokulito has several methods, such as the casein method and the animal glue method. The way to use silicone in this video is one of them.
Waterless lithography is the printing technique invented by Canadian printmaker Prof. Nik Semenoff. Motoji Kato applied this technique to wooden boards. The inportant points is coating with varnish to the boards to prevent bleeding. That is Mokulito based on the Waterless technique.

木リトLIVE64拝見しました。丁寧で分かりやすい説明といつも便利グッズを紹介して頂き嬉しいです。特にインクを付ける時に使用された木枠は便利ですね！次回の木リトLIVE65も楽しみにしております！
ありがとうございます。インク盛りでどうしても版の縁のシリコーンが傷んでしまうので考えました。細かいところを気がついていただき嬉しいです。スライムは便利ですが、コーティングしていない物につけてしまうと剥がすのが大変です。硬いタイプのスライムがお薦めです。

Thank you very much. Please give it a try. Aqualess ink for offset printing can also be used. I have also used offset inks that do not have aqualess notation and letterpress inks. but I don't know the ingredients, so I do not know whether all of those inks can be used reliably.
