This is the first video I have watched with Diane and it was great. I loved how every step was shown with close up camera work. Diane’s explanation was so easy to understand. Lately, I feel the shabby fabric videos do not show enough detail or show all of the steps involved to complete the project. I hope to see more videos with Diane. Thank you so much!

Good tutorial! I just wish the camera stayed closeup as you explained and sewed some of the areas but I'm sure I can figure it out. Question: Because the "seeds" are only being fused, would putting a hot dish on top soften the glue causing them to come off? Thanks!

To answer your question, we used Heat'N Bond Ultra Hold, which I've been told is pretty permanent (and you're not going to want to sew through it), so we do not think our laser shapes in this kit will come off, once applied appropriately. I have an older Singer machine so I can only go to 4 on width and set my length between 10 and 8 and sew really slowly. When the jelly roll rugs were so popular I made some rectangular ones. I learned to watch needle to make sure I was catching both sides because on my first project I have some skips.
