    I literally just visited Carowinds for the first time from the 14th to the 17th of this month. I only felt the trims ever so slightly. I had massive air time everytime I rode Intimidator. I definitely have it in my top 3 for the park!

      I prefer the front. My April 2022 rides gave much better floater in the front, but the back row has legit ejector on the first drop due to the longer trains. Epic ride, but I still can't put it above #4. Copperhead and afterburn are just so good! And fury of course is an untouchable #1 (sorry L rod)

      There seems to be a misunderstanding of trims. Trims are there to keep the train moving at the correct speed. If you are getting trims your train is actually moving faster than it should be. Trims aren't causing a slower ride, it's just correcting to what it should be.
      On Fury specifically, the trim on the small camelback hits much harder at night when the train is running faster. Be happy you got a hard trim; means you got a more intense ride👍

    I've ridden intimidator so many times The front is awesome for the speed. The back is a whole different story. You get yanked over the top of the lift hill and each airtime hill feels stronger, leaning towards the light floajector type of airtime.

    Something to note about Intimidator: There is a camelback for each of Dale Earnhardt's Championships. A big reason why I hope this coaster doesn't get rebranded to a superman post merger. It has local history and relevance.

    After watching: the only B&M hypers I've ridden are Behemoth and Leviathan and I prefer Behemoth, and I'd suspect I'd feel the same way about Diamondback over Orion. But Fury 325 is the only park where the Giga B&M hyper is actually better than the hyper B&M hyper, but I've already told you this before. Therefore: Carowinds was smart to build Fury 325: it put them on the map as being a bucket list coaster destination. Thanks for this awesome review!

I also love the downwards helix in the back of Behemoth as well as every drop (except the 1st turnaround) so That's why I'd imagine Behemoth is considerably better.

    I'm not really bothered by the trims either. It is a fun ride, solid # 3 in the park for me behind Fury & Copperhead. Towards the bottom of my B&M hyper list, but I have several ranked very close to each other. The occasional slight rattle has never bothered me, while some other B&M hypers have had rattles that bother me. On a busy Monday last year, they were cranking out the trains on Intimidator, keeping the line super short. Even the grouper was awesome, taking row requests. I like how the front, back, & middle give different experiences, and it's all great.

The first half is on the same tier as #3 and #4, but the ending knocks it down. I do prefer it slightly to Apollo's Chariot and really prefer it to Nitro or Raging Bull. This ride seems to have the same problem as Mamba and Wild Thing, in that it dies at the midcourse. I think it has fixed magnetic brakes, meaning they will always hit. Most B&Ms only have friction brakes on the midcourse, and the trains will go through faster. I know the one on Nitro at Great Adventure won't hit at all on a cold day, but that usually means trains are running very slow and the first half will be weak.

    My biggest problem with Intimidator Carowinds is the theming. While it's an amazing coaster, it doesn't feel like a NASCAR or a race coaster. Its focus is floater air time... how is that race-like? This is what Intimidator 305 gets amazingly. While it still has amazing floater air time, its primary focus is whipping the rider around at break-neck speeds. I love it.

    I'm laughing, but imagine saying:

    super intense
    too intense
    "Intense" usually means wild. These four terms each have an adverb, "pretty", "very", "super", and "too", followed by "intense". While the four terms all mean they are intense, I think there are differences between them. What are? What do you think?

    The last B&M Stagger Train produce is surprisingly for Morgan Giga, Steel Dragon 2000. Which yeah, all people know is the last expected thing to be.
    In fact, it's not really stagger. B&M forced to drill new hole for relocating wheel seats and restrain to more center. Because the clearance is too tight against tunnel. They just shut the old seat hole with screw cap, and the wheel seat restrain put awkwardly. They don't even bother to design custom chassis
    The more we all know

    Like pretty much every B&M they made the hills too high and you crawl through the layout.
    Aside from that they trimmed nearly every hill and is reduced to forceless trash, One of the worst coasters I have been on.
    I honestly think the people who rave about it have not been on much else or to many other parks.
    Kinda why Fury 325 got the golden ticket award, because people just see a video and vote despite not riding it.
    Not saying Fury is terrible just not amazing, the B&M shudder is through almost the entire layout and it crawls in the second half.

    • @CanobieCoaster
      @CanobieCoaster  2 года назад +1

      I love Fury. This one has a good 1st half even when trimmed.

    • @cameronvincent7570

      I agree with you. Intimidator was a one and done ride for me because it was boring. I'd rather spend my time riding Flying Cobras or Hurler than Intimidator. As for Fury, it was fun but overhyped. You're right about the second half of the ride, especially the helix, being slow. Fury would be a better ride if it hit the final break run after the tremble clef instead of crawling through the second half.

    • @spider0804
      @spider0804 2 года назад

      @@cameronvincent7570 I wish they would have done some high speed low height hills with some snap twists or something instead of the standard B&M "how many big hills can we fit on this thing?". It has plenty of energy after the turnaround to do some cool stuff they just did not do it. I-305 was amazing for me if you have not rode it. Nothing like the one at Carowinds and made by a manufacturer who actually knows what force is.

    • @cameronvincent7570
      @cameronvincent7570 2 года назад

      @@spider0804 That's my biggest gripe with B&M too. Their rides are all similar. Lots of speed and big airtime hills.
      I-305 is amazing. Every Intamin I have ridden, with the exception of Skyrush, has been uniquely fun and exhilarating. I just wish they could figure out how to make their rides more reliable!

    • @spider0804
      @spider0804 2 года назад +1

      @@cameronvincent7570 I honestly think the reliability bit is overblown, when I look at downtimes for weeks, months, seasons at most parks they do not tend to be the highest downtime rides. Though I do think some notable examples like Dragster or Maverick have pushed that narrative quite a bit since people tend to focus on the boundary pushing rides. But that is kinda the thing, B&M really does not tend to push boundaries or try new things that often so they tend to work. If you look at RMC and their downtime charts it will probably be higher than an Intiman at the same park but no one seems to mention it.
