Hard to imagine this is $50 more than the 2019 millenium falcon which had more minifigures, full interior and is actually an iconic ship and doesn't look like a giant grey block

You can just slide them underneath the sticker to hold them and even use them to smooth the stickers over. I've been doing this for a long while now and my stickers have never looked better.
They could’ve included the escape pod which Omega escapes in during TBB episode 9, it would’ve been a nice side build to justify the price of a set. They even could’ve included one of those botched clone tanks with a unique mini-figure.
@@NiqRipple but I think the figure wouldn’t be very appropriate, whether it’s relevant to the scene or not. Plus I think it would be kinda a useless side build as it doesn’t really have much of a use aside from shelf decoration, I think in general only the escape pod would really work as a good additional side build
I think two major issues could have been fixed easily. One; the "hammer" mechanism exposed, which looks as though could be built over without interrupting the mechanics underneath. Two; those worthless wing panels, frankly shouldn't be there since their ONLY function is to hide the extra blasts for the shooter, could have been one connected piece or latched differently for sure.
The Justifier looks very cool. The figures, the return of Cad Bane and the features are cool. What I don't like about it is the price. It's so expensive! Heck, the Justifier costs $210 CND in Canada. That's absurd
170 is still way too expensive for what you get. Theres barely any worthwhile features and the minifig selection is also quite lacking. Sure the thing is large but there is really not a lot to do for a set this size.
Am I the only one feeling like there is a lot of places where it looks "not finished" ? Like a lot of things we shouldn't see easily are VERY visible. Is it just me ?
I mean the AT TE is 40 dollars cheaper and has 5 figures plus 3 battle droids, and the inquisitors transport scythe has the exact same amount of figures. So completely lacking in mini figures.
The Falcon was originally 160$, which adjusted for inflation equals about 185$ today. The only reason the Falcon is at such a discount is because it's a sequel variant; the sequels sets did not sell well. The Justifier really isn't that bad considering it's sheer size. It's a bummer the interior is so small, but the ship is still a pretty faithful recreation of what we see in the show.
Honestly I didn’t think I was gonna like this set too much, especially with it being at that high price point, but this ship looks incredible. I just wish there was a little bit more interior room, but the exterior detail they put into this set more than *justifies* the price for me personally.
With how big it is it feels like it needs a carry handle and with the price it feels like it should have a fleshed out interior like the millennium falcon, especially considering the pricing on the past play-sized millennium falcons being at the same or a lower price tier
I didn't buy this spaceship even when it was at 100$, I saw too many negatives, but in the end I bought it on eBay for 75$ with shipping, but no figures, arrived today, assembled, as described, the man took out the figures, everything perfect closed in the box again. The ship looks great, with the Scythe 75336 there are beauties on the shelf, live it looks Top, I love it. In my opinion, buy it on sale, you won't go wrong, it has a special look, my recommendation.
Even if the set is bigger, it doesn't justify the price. If I mad a square box out of tiles and bricks with less pieces but it was still bigger, would you pay more?

I do like the justifier but it's just way to over priced, especially when this would have cost lego about $20 tops to make, I'm still not sure if it's worth it
Okay, plastic is cheap, but it costs money to run a business. You have to make the pieces, keep tooling current, pay employees, advertise, pay income and property taxes (does Europe have a carbon tax?), property maintenance, and literally pay to keep the lights on. All that cost is added on to the sets.
@@joshuamueller3206 it all depends on what set it is, one of the reasons lego costs so much is because they use boxes that are too big, and that makes shipping prices more, and like you said taxes etc.
Here’s why it’s still over priced : yes it’s large, but it has only 2 play features. Shouldn’t be more than 120 in my opinion . I wouldn’t pay anymore than that, unless I need ALL the figs. Then it’s maybe justified at 140-150. Two play features - stud shooters and omegas cell. The landing hammer is not a play feature
Yeah, it doesn’t make sense when Razor Crest is $120. They know people will pay the price to get Cad Bane and to a lesser extent Omega. I’m glad I have no interest in Bad Batch or any want or need for Cad Bane.
Thanks for the review on this set. Really thought it was over priced until seeing the actual size compared to some of the other sets. Went from a no to a yes purchase. thanks for the great content.
I agree that the previous Cad Bane's hat was ridiculously large, but I probably won't buy this just to replace the hat that came with Cad Banes' Speeder. I already have Hunter and Fennec Shand from other sets, and I've had a counterfeit Omega for some time, who looks pretty much the same as this official one, except for the arm printing. She also came with that bow weapon she had in the Bad Batch. Thanks for showing that the interior wasn't really anything special. I don't have room for another huge ship (or most of the sets I already own, actually), so I'll save my 170 bucks for something else. Like paying rent and buying groceries.
9:45 my brother in Christ, you smacked the face of the ship against the table only 30 seconds ago 😂😂 I heard the pieces launch around when you did it lmao Loving your vids though, just got back into Star Wars lego as an adult this year, been buying and building sets with my baby sister
For me, part to piece only counts in terms of how long it takes to build. That’s a big part of the enjoyment and value of a set for me, and if I’m paying $170 for a set I’d want it to take a couple of evenings to build, at least. When the piece count is as low as it is in this set, I can imagine building it in one evening, which really doesn’t make it seem worth it to me. Although the main reasons I’m not getting it is the size, my lack of space, and my lack of interest in the look of it and the subject matter. It’s not iconic enough to me for that price range
A few weeks ago I watched a video that showed a few building techniques and someone in the comments said that the front of the tail of the Justifier isn’t an illegal building technique, since the 45 degrees panels are smaller then normall panels.
I really really really want this set but unfortunately unless it was like 20-30 dollars cheaper I won’t be getting it, as I can’t justify the quantity of stuff for nearly 200 dollars :/
So that “illegal building technique” on the engine isn’t actually illegal because they are tiles not plates and it doesn’t cause stress to the lego parts
Just got this set on clearance for $80, just finished building it didn’t even put the stickers on, prob gunna take it apart it’s pretty underwhelming just bought it for pieces and cad bane
I am the biggest “torch and pitchfork in-hand” denouncer of recent LEGO with their complete BS price hike (gouge) of late but this, really after building it… is amazing.
I find this to be fairly priced because I think it looks largely sized and fits the price. Maybe $150 would be fair but we have the price increase so that’s why it’s $170.
Ok so 1022 pieces means this set should be 120 dollars plus inflation making to 130. 170 dollars is ludicrous considering the piece count. Yes peace count doesn't always matter because it's just not going to be something that matters all of the time but with inflation that's going to bring the cost up about 10 bucks meaning that there should be about a 100 piece difference from what the set should normally have. Just because of inflation doesn't mean that there should be a 600 piece difference that is ridiculous there should only be around a 100 to 200 piece difference, prove me wrong.
Great set! I like the features, and the look, and the figures! If they would just have replaced the stickers with a printed windshield piece at the front, and bring the price down to $140, it'd be great!
180 euros in the netherlands, which i dont get. It is too much, even for that size. At least lego should have cover up the tail mechanism. Now you see through the ship. This is not the case on the tv show.

I think the mid legs is for characters that are at the ages 14 and above. Omega has the appearance of a 12 year old although not sure about her actual age as the show portrays that she is much older. Close to Boba. I think she is consistent with the new legs. But season 2 may need the mid legs.
I think its overpriced for a 170 I would like a bigger interior but I'll probably get it for 20% of at Amazon so that should work itself out however I'm just incredibly hyped for the atte
I like to think the high price of set is because of Cad Bane. He probably demanded a high price for his inclusion since the majority agree he is the best bounty hunter. Maybe Toto tax who knows. Once by one clone the rest are easy.
Well I’m 2 bags in and so far it is normal but I feel like it will get just a bit more difficult so if your a beginner I would say it would be hard but not complicated
I have this set and I will definitely say, it‘s awesome, I don’t think the price was fair but we can’t change that, it‘s awesome to display next to other large sets and the figs were very solid
The price point is really absurd and I don’t think the build itself even looks very good but I badly want cad bane so ig I’ll have to wait for a sale??
So your telling me that they sacrificed the sturdiness in the wings so I can look at the landing mechanism and an extra stud shooter?! I would have included the cage (maybe a little too big) or something smaller like weapons! Or just not put anything so I can play with my wings!!!
An idea: People don’t care ab price per peace in the sense that we ought to look for, say, 10c a piece bc that’s fair!! We care about it because each piece represents a single step in the build, the more pieces for the cheaper price, the more you get out of your BUILDING experience. And I personally value this price corresponding to say, a $120 lego set in terms of building experience/cost for SW, not $170. It’s a straw man about why price per piece matters, ofc bigger pieces use more plastic = bigger price
Didn’t LEGO claim they named the “Slave I”, “Bobas Fett’s Starship” because kids may not know the name of his ship? If that’s the case, how come this is called “The Justifier” when I as a massive Star Wars fan had never even heard of this ship?
LEGO never claimed that. Some fans who didn't believe in the controversy said it as an excuse but the LEGO designers themselves confirmed it was Disney who asked them to change the name.
It's definitely the case with a lot of sets in Lego Star Wars. However with the whole "Boba's starship" drama, this was not the case. They just didn't want to use the word "slave" on a set mainly targeted for younger fans. Which is completely fine, honestly don't get why people got their panties in a twist over it. It's still canonically named The Slave-1, just not the box.
So I got this for Christmas. My dad snagged it for 100. It is ugly as all hell yes, but luckily I bought a massive Lego piece haul and I've been fixing this set. I'm very happy with the results of my work. Makes the set worth it for me.

The price point is really absurd and I don’t think the build itself even looks very good but I badly want cad bane so ig I’ll have to wait for a sale??
I want this to be a custom freighter for a custom character of mine, I think I’m gonna remove the back part. I’ll see when I get mine.
Watching twice because it’s a reupload 💪🏼
Imo, the sheer size of this does help the price a tiny bit
So your telling me that they sacrificed the sturdiness in the wings so I can look at the landing mechanism and an extra stud shooter?! I would have included the cage (maybe a little too big) or something smaller like weapons! Or just not put anything so I can play with my wings!!!
An idea:
People don’t care ab price per peace in the sense that we ought to look for, say, 10c a piece bc that’s fair!! We care about it because each piece represents a single step in the build, the more pieces for the cheaper price, the more you get out of your BUILDING experience. And I personally value this price corresponding to say, a $120 lego set in terms of building experience/cost for SW, not $170. It’s a straw man about why price per piece matters, ofc bigger pieces use more plastic = bigger price
i still bought this even if its a little overpriced, cad bane is my favourite character and his minifig is amazing, i guess the ship is cool too
Saw this at target yesterday and trip out how big was the box
ONEGA!!! Great review Ryan!
It’s not at a very justifiable price
i fixed the boxes in the interior by putting it in the cargo in the back
Didn’t LEGO claim they named the “Slave I”, “Bobas Fett’s Starship” because kids may not know the name of his ship?
Thank you for the review I just went to the store and had to pick one up
So I got this for Christmas. My dad snagged it for 100. It is ugly as all hell yes, but luckily I bought a massive Lego piece haul and I've been fixing this set. I'm very happy with the results of my work. Makes the set worth it for me.
Great review
It's a bit expensive but I think I'll still get it eventually.
Lmao when he said "OMEEEGA"
I watched the old video and didn’t see anything wrong if anybody knows what happened please let me know
10:30 he discovers a feature with the jail cell.
This set is the higligth of summer 2022 to me. I think it's really great. Btw you ar awesome!💙
Yesterday I was able to get the 75337 AT-TE for $131, very happy with my purchase.
For such a big set, it has NO space if you’re looking for a spacious interior the inquisitor scythe is a better option in almost every way
Should of said it will make a fine addition to your collection. (General grievous style) 4:36
Good video! Glad the jail cell wasn't as hard to open as previously thought, even if it is tight haha
Pick this up for 120 at Walmart
Came back to this video to see if I missed something cause this set is sold out at almost every store I’ve been too recently
gonna be honest, I love Cad Bane but ship never had a memorable design for me.
Exactly. It's not at all iconic.
Im gonna grab it if someone sells it without the minifigs, because its 3x cheaper and the ship can be fixed
