    Nice seeing your musket. I would recommend the skill fine gunpowder as it auto reloades your Gun and buffs all damage output by 16% including bomb

    About the "martellatori", if it's italian, "martellatori" literally means "hammerers" so it kinda fits the 1 star unit more than the 5 star unit

    I used to be one of the top ranked muskets (top 50 or so) in around season 1, so believe me when i say you need the escape skill Skirmish.
    Also i don't really regard STR musket as very viable, sure it can work and it can show a lot of numbers but so many of the skills don't depend on you but on what you face. You can go entire matches without facing opponents that can be burned and a lot of units can generally ignore caltrops (Skirmish also uses caltrops so you can use that if you see a cav charge).
    But of course if you feel like it works for you i suggest you just enjoy yourself doing what you want, that alone is hard enough with this game at times :)

      Thanks for the tips! I'm playing this very basic setup to build muscle memory for the weapon so Im using 'safe + easy' skills and I hope to diversify into and Agi build eventually.

      can i ask you a question? i want to play musket, but i am bad at aim, then my idea is play it more support way like scatter shot, gunpowder for raise ult dmg, caltrops, the bomb and be full strengh and runs for blunt and crit. basicly trow the bomb everytime is possible ( every 38s) with calltrops and with gunpowder skill. can be valiable way to play musket or is completly nonsense :D. thx for answer.

    • @SnakeTGK
      @SnakeTGK 3 года назад +2

      @@jakubbubela9361 The caltrop and all bombs playstyle on FULL strengh is very powerfull in team plays. If you go that way I would not advice to go scatter and/or fine gunpowder. You can basically stop charges with caltrops and fire bomb, break shield formations with ult and harass range units all in one build. Though you lose all potential for hero assassination its actually the build you'll see on muskets for TW most of the time. I'm not a fan of fire bomb because of the very long cooldown and very small splash explosion radius, I'd trade that with skirmisher. It gives you an escape plus an other caltrops to stop cav or melee charges. At the end of the day there is no 'bad' way to play musket other than never forget to bring black powder bomb. It depends on what role you want to fulfill in the team.

    I have been swapping weapons ever since I started playing a couple of months ago. It keeps the game fresh for me, and I quite like it, Musket is a massive pain in the ass to level up skills though, so you were a lot better off using the spare skill-points you had laying around. I mained ls for the longest, it was a lot of fun, but I now tend to look at medium armor weapons, playing primarily classes that also deal a lot of dps, when I stat-swap to full strenght I still play ls though, which is quite fun. You can surprise people with the damage you deal.

    • @herroberbesserwisser7331
      @herroberbesserwisser7331 3 года назад

      Wait isnt Musket medium Armor?

    • @GeneralAblon
      @GeneralAblon 3 года назад

      @@herroberbesserwisser7331 yes, it is. I like musket, but it took a while to level it via other methods, since the shots take too long to reload to get adequate unit kills, and abilities are a large part of the damage musket deals, meaning it is VERY dependent on levelled skills to deal damage. Also, the tactical nuke elite is pretty much mandatory, since it is a large part of the purpose of the musket. Kinda like getting the aoe heal for the longsword, but longsword you can go full strength and deal enough damage with basic attacks to kill units, to get skill points. I will probably swap to strength this week and go play some musket/nodachi/ls. Hell, maybe even dual blades to try to get that elite skill, and I COULD try to level some heavy armor weapons.

    • @KnightStalker
      @KnightStalker  3 года назад

      I'm still super fresh to Muskett so I'm playing it safe a lot and using a very basic setup. I'm not finding it hard to level tbh, probably because I'm used to LS and that does so little damage that levelling takes forever haha!

      Ok so unless you are out there throwing bombs like a spaz (like me in this video) musket is very close to a melee weapon. The strongest way to play it is as an agility build and repeatedly headshot people which kills them very quickly. There is a close combat leg sweep that is very strong and a scattershot to the head while on the ground does tons of damage. Have you watched any guides?
