    I see that the manual posted on Ableton's website has no mention of Arrangement View when it comes to Push 3's standalone mode. Are we to assume that Push 3 standalone is strictly a Session View box or will the Arrangement View be implemented in future firmware?

    • @karlosmartos4646

    Hallo Ableton Team. Erstmal Glückwunsch zur Push 3. Das Teil ist sicherlich eine mega Innovation und zeigt, wo es in Zukunft noch hingehen kann (in der Standalone Welt). Dennoch hier ein paar Kritikpunkte. Ich als langjähriger Ableton User fühle mich etwas im Regen stehen gelassen. Gerade Funktionen wie die neue Session View hätte ich mir auch für die Push 2 gewünscht und es definitiv möglich so eine Funktion auch bei dem Push 2 Controller zu integrieren (Idee: über Session Button und dann über den Layout Button einfach durchschalten - ist ja im Notenmodus auch möglich). Außerdem wenn ich mir anschaue was Mr. Moßgraber in seinem Extension Skript für Bitwig alles aus der Push 2 rausholt, sind die Grenzen auch für Ableton noch nicht erreicht. Daher etwas traurig, dass Ableton mit der "Gier" der User spielt, um das neue Produkt zu verkaufen und quasi das alte Produkt (die Push 2) nicht mehr supported bzw. updated.

      @@thebeatmajors_yt not really, the extra money required to upgrade from regular push 3 to standalone push 3 is around the same price as a MacBook Air.
      Their point is why not jusy buy the regular push 3, then spend that extra money on a light laptop that's more powerful and can run 3rd party VSTs and do other laptop-y things on top of it. Then whenever you're on the go, you can run Ableton from the laptop in clamshell mode, it'll have >2.5 hours of battery life and more power, storage etc.

    • @3rdStoreyChemist
      @3rdStoreyChemist Год назад

      @@tearnfourstar That’s the issue, you’re adding an extra bit of equipment that takes up space and adds weight just to provide CPU. That could go towards other hardware and all the rest of it if you did want to use more equipment.
      If running VSTs is important to you, then that makes the decision for you, but at the same time, for others a more portable setup makes more sense to them and that is what has driven the idea of a standalone piece of hardware running Ableton.

    Will the Push 2 continue to get any more updates? One thing I would like to see - and Loopop touched on this - is being able to see and launch clips even in note mode which the Push 3 can do.

      Hi, thanks for reaching out. While we will be focusing our efforts on improving the features of Push 3, please keep in mind that Push 2 is still supported and compatible with Live, and will continue to be updated to keep up with the current versions of our software. Hope this helps, Ableton.

    implement song mode please guys 🙏🏼 this isn’t mostly used for a “live” environment for a long time, people are producing songs, got it ? song mode. songs. yes.

    Push 3 hopefully will create a nice second hand market for those who cannot afford the new version but want access to a push 2. MPE, stand alone mode and external hardware manipulation are not that important to me so I can play for another 8 years with my Push 2 if the cracking plastic doesn't give up, until Push 4 comes out.
    This update is a missed opportunity for those who like more encoders (knobs), a more intuitive interface, and a nice big touch screen.
    Nevertheless, Ableton Push is a fabulous controller, no matter what version you have.

    Is it still using the same TPE coating that degrades and becomes sticky over a relatively short period of time?

    • @Ableton
      @Ableton  Год назад +1

      Hi there. While some units of earlier versions of Push did have an issue with the device’s rubber coating, this was already resolved with more recent production runs. The new Push uses a different, higher-quality coating, which is far more stable and reliable.

    Push 3最革命性的操作就是可选择购买官方套件升级为Standalone。而且使用Nvme SSD,所以什么时候能用Push 3看视频🤣🤣🤣然后,什么时候像AKAI MPC KEY 61一样,出Ableton Key 61😁把Push 3集成到键盘里变成真正的独立工作站,而且还支持自行购买升级套件,真正做到买一台设备解决所有问题!

    Just got my Push 3, imo I like the pad lights better on the Push 2 😊Push 3 pad lights looks like balls and are more stressful to look at than the Push 2 which has more light covering pads… they should have kept the black color on the pad grid lines.. maybe there will be mods for this in the future 🤞🏻😇

    Instead of giving a standalone processor, would have suggested the r&d team to put that money over audio mixing addition of control surfaces with mixer knobs, production mix,, so the entire production system at one place..hope to see it in next 10 years..

    Anyone know whether the Groove pool will be accessible in standalone?
    I will say, paying extra for MIDI breakout cables after dropping 2k feels very Apple.

    Can it handle 1 hour live sets in 1 project or will it fail at this?

    • @Ableton
      @Ableton  Год назад

      The battery of the standalone Push can handle a 2-2.5 hours of play time with a high quality, built-in lithium iron phosphate battery. The tethered version of Push 3 is connected to a power cable. More info here: bit.ly/3oMqRFi

      Cool. Thanks. I’ve been touch this week with y’all/ ableton. Im being patient waiting on most of the kinks to be worked out. Good piece of gear. Waiting on you guys to do more training videos instead of demonstration vids. You’re on the screen anyways. Might as well give us users step by step ways to produce on this thing. We don’t need anymore demonstration vids. RUclips creators got that already
