My 2014 was my favorite vehicle to drive and just be in, and I've had a LOT of different cars and trucks in my life. However, the constant problems led to my knowing everyone at the dealership so much so that I was invited to 2 weddings by default since I was becoming a regular fixture at the dealership. Constant issues with the Transmission, engine cooling lights going on, not turning off at a doctors appointment (4 month wait for a dermatologist appointment missed), and on and on. Loved it when it ran.
My Evoque is a 2013 and still works great. In 2016 the air-conditioning stopped working, but was covered under the < 50,000 mile warranty. Nothing else has gone wrong with it. I love driving it.
5:05 Engine light is on lol. I actually like the back of this car better than the latest design. Downsides for me: Trunk space is small, sort of loud inside if you don't have the music on, takes awhile to change gears (automatic), also it feels like someone is stepping on the gas pedal. But love the look and the straight arrow drive feel of the car (if that makes sense).
Interesting, my friend also had a Range Rover Evoque, which tends to break and have glitches quite a bit as well. But in contrast, my Discovery Sport haven’t had any problems so far, other than yearly maintenance.
Interesting video. I would have loved to have a Range Rover Evoque when I was your age. I was considering a Range Rover Sport last time I changed my car but the maintenance is always that thing I didn’t want to have at the back of my mind worrying me about what was going to go wrong next. It’s interesting seeing your take on the gear shift “puck”. That was revolutionary cutting edge design that JLR brought in on it’s very high end models when it was first out. Seeing that puck rise out of the console was one of those things that made you go wow.
Really a good video. I love Range Rover Evoque I really appreciate your good effort to make car video and your level of updation in tech and many more. Hope to see many more good stuff from you. Love from India.
I looked at it and test drove the Evoque years ago. I love the style of the car. It’s beautiful. But it was a bumpy drive for a luxury a SUV. I was ready to buy it the next day but had a horrible sales person. So I decided the next day to check out the Jeep Grand Cherokee and I could not believe how awesome the suspension was on it compared to the Evoque. It drove great. And it was all blacked out. Looked so cool. I ended buying the Jeep that night. Great review. I miss my suv. 🙁 I’ll be looking at this in a few months again.
Evoque is at the bottom of the JD Power list of car reliability. Ours has needed to spend time at the shop too. We are glad that its being leased, so we can turn it in, and walk away from it, if it ends up being a lemon.
This was a great review. Range Rover has such a strong tradition, it’s a pity that reliability has always been a bug bear 🐻 for such an expensive vehicle.
I have a 2013 Chevrolet Malibu and it has more technology then what you just discovered in that vehicle, that car is almost a half dacade behind other cars my Malibu even had automatic braking.
I'm following you for quite a long time and I like the way you explain stuffs and give true feedbacks about the techs but I wanted to know how did you afford that suv? I know you are only 17 and still at school. So I've guessed that your parents bought it for you or you bought with your RUclips money. Hoping to see a reply.
Jacklyn you look so elegant driving that sophisticated Range Rover Evoque, and of course you do because you're a sophisticated person yourself. I got caught totally of guard by this review, but it just goes to show how far you've come as a content creator, watching you make this awesome review on the Range Rover confirms how much range you have, and why I continue to watch your videos! Awesome review, I'm a tall guy myself at 6'3, 220 pounds so I don't drive small cars, I like SUV's (:
Range Rover, Land Rover Produce The Best SUV's Every Year. They Are Also The Best On Offroads. Thanks For Making This Video Now More People Buy These Awesome SUV's.
You are not even reached legal age to drive a car and how can u drive it? U r claiming that you are driving it for a year, which means at the age of 16?
The turbo went out right after we got ours at 60k and then the heater core needed to be replaced. Now at 80k the transfer case is now being replaced, bought from lr direct in the UK and ship here to the states. $2500 for a new OEM transfer case.
Actually have no real interest in Range Rovers. I was however interested in this follow up video. I thought it was well thought out and put together. And it's always cool to switch things up from the phones that normally dominate. Definitely great insight and for those who might be interested in this car, I think it brought really good info. 👍💯
Great looking, but reliability is very important to me, so I would never consider owning a Range Rover......just too many stories of issues and trips to the shop. Maybe you will find a Pixel 4A equal in the car world.
hi...! i will not care about the content you give us this is krishna from INDIA direct to the point so confident i like you as a person the perfection in every thing you do grater................ hope we both meet to gather one day
Looks really nice, but those small issues even on cheaper cars are not present... 8 years with an ASX, Mitsubishi, no issues. A luxury SUV should not give any issues for years. Anyway... the style of that SUV I like it. Is great that you also do other types of reviews, and the honest review is appreciated.
Hope you enjoy this!
PSA: you guys and a lot of hard work made this possible, so thank you so much!
Hardik Patel you can watch other videos for that. Appreciate the hard work man, cheers!!
@DMoney Industry There is no such thing better .. its all personal perspective
Are you 12?
Mkbhd: so i've had the range rover evoque for 5 years now and here are my thoughts...
*Tesla Roadster 2020..for 5 years now
Lol

nonsense ,range rovers are the worst British cars u can buy ,itll be broken down within a year

On my the seal star leaks oil motor between engine and transmission is 138 k on my evoque.!
Just last week my friend’s Evoque’s engine caught on fire, the front half of the car is gone.

I doubt I would ever get a range rover but she did a good job in the video.

What's the fuel efficiency?
aravind sharen its a 4 cylinder. I usually get 22 city 32 highway. Mine is a 15 evoque pure plus

I’m changing the oil on my evoque rn it started making a tapping sounds but happy yours works well lmfao
Is this your first Range Rover ? What did you name it?
Does it come with Carplay oder Android Auto?
Did you find a good phone mount?
How reliable is it?
sweet ride! Thanks for sharing.
who paid fore the car? living home with the old folks?
At what age did you learn to drive? Which car?
How can you afford one at such a young age?
Jitu Bhaskar zuckerberg became a billionaire at 23 and you don’t think it’s possible to finance a $30,000 car? How small minded are you
K Michael yes however she is such a small RUclipsr so unless RUclips is her part time gig, it’s fair to wonder how she can afford It.
Do a review on the meridian sound system 🥵

Jacklyn you did it again. Great video 👍🖖💜💛🧡💙💚
Why didn't u get a Tesla
Are you going to review the 7T?

You should review the new Land Rover Defender. Seems really awesome.
Didn’t Range Rover improve their reliability after all these years ?
The check engine light on? New car (less than a couple of years old)? Nah. Lease or pass.
Good job

The happiness times you will ever own a Range Rover is the day that you buy it and the day you sell it. Unfortunately I know this from experience

Was skeptical (what? a car??)... But you did a good review from the perspective of likely users - which is how you do phone/camera reviews. Good job!
Really appreciate that!!! Thank you for watching:)
Not a single mention of the engine specifications. Make sure you cover them next time.
I mean, it's a tech channel named "NothingButTech" Not really engine stats, though to some I guess that could be considered tech in electric vehicles.
