ForceUpdateFromMU should always be set to "0" not "1". Anyhow, this doesnt work for me on Win 11 Home 23H2. MsMpEng.exe still running in services and taking a lot of resources, unfortunately. Also tried to disable it using Autoruns, no luck. What gives.
I tried the Windows 10 version and delete the Task scheduler and then from group policy but not worked. Thank you very much, after this video I was able to shut it off completely.
Thanks sir it work for me, thanks, and for the people who said it's not working for themselves take your time and follow all the steps carefully as the man teaches us in the video and it will work for you 👍
This would crash my MSI GS66 laptop after a while. Screen would freeze and the fans would blast. Any idea why? Had to delete all the registry files and use the safe mode guide from last year.
This defender had been eating up my game cracked files now I'm soooooooo happy 😂it has come to an end thank you bro thank youuuu so much now I can enjoy my Hellblade2 hehe I'm outttt🤗🖤
I follow all steps, for me dont work, when i meet a "software with virus" all this these are on again... i do all this things i can see in Virus & Threat Protection - No Active antivirus - but if i wanna run a program "virused" all things things turned on again...
For the re-enabling process, is it possible to just sent the modifier to 0 and the ServiceKeepAlive to 1 and that'll work? Is it a must that they be deleted?
This should only affect Defender, but if you plan to use another AV, don't disable Defender, just install the other AV and the system will disable Defender automatically. Your scenario is not recommended. Thanks,
I disabled defender exactly like that but now when i try to enable it again following those steps windows security doesnt even open anymore it just shows a white screen and no matter how much i try different ways it doesnt open , in such case how do you fix it
This is an advanced configuration works for many and not for others because you're trying to change something that Microsoft doesn't want you to change. You can fix the problem by undoing the Registry changes or restoring the computer from backup as noted in the video, for this exact reason. Thanks,
@@Pureinfotech Yes. Or telemetry, or bing, or IE, or location services, or forced updates, or the new inefficient right-click menu, etc...doesn't make it right
Hi This is very useful but to make it better Add all the DWORD in the video description or create a script that automatically create all de DWORD in the register . Thanks
Anti virus is a "solution" to a problem that shouldn't exist in the first place. If potentially harmful code is reaching your system, your security protocol is fatally flawed. Think on a global scale all of the cpu cycles used for real time scanning and mitigation scans, et al. Add that up and its hundreds of megawatt hours wasted!
Algo hiciste mal, he formateado esta pc 3 veces y siempre puedo desactivar el antivirus, lo he hecho en otras 2 laptops y defender no se ha activado. Fíjate si no volviste a dejar en 0 el dword del comentario fijado
@@Pureinfotech Of course I did. I completely disabled Defender ages ago but it was somehow re-enabled and deleting a file in my UEVR app. I managed to get it working anyway. Its a program that enables some games (unreal engine 4 and 5) to run in VR.
I'd very much like to disable windows defender. However, the instructions do not match my experience. Could you create a win 11 disable via the instructions at ruclips.net/video/ZwIoOR6Psk4/видео.html. Thanks very much! Norm Acunis
Update: At 3:20 the ServiceKeepAlive should be set to "0"
exactly, i was about to comment on this.

thanks a lot, saved time
Explain why donwe set to 0? Mine worked with 1
mine's disabled and I didn't do that. Is it totally necessary?
Thank you for this. Other tutorials I've followed don't do half as much and none of them worked, but this did.
Worked like a charm. Thank you
Finally, ive been searching for hours your method work 100% thanks man. Great video

Fantastic, very thorough. Thank you.

It worked, thanks 👍
Thanks for the feedback. Did you follow the steps or used the script? (see description)

ok well it didnt. msmpeng.exe is still running in services and i bet it is for you too
Excellent and thank you!
Thanks! i wonder how impactful to performance that disabling defender. Need really some comparison video from someone.
I don't think you will see a lot of difference. Microsoft knows Windows, so it knows how to optimize Defender for its OS.
If it stops that insane AntiMalware Executable from hogging my CPU and causing my GPU fans to stop running at full, then I'll be happy.
Thank you so much, you saved me a ton of time searching
Glad I could help!
Thanks buddy you helped me❤

thanks bro, this works perfect
it would be nice to have a batch file that could enable or disable it
Does this affect other Antiviruses or just Windows Defender. Bc after I did this, I got a message that Zonealarm was disabled as well i think

thanks a ton
That didn't help. when i open a file it still detects it as a virus?
It still works, just aake sure the "tamper" thing on the settings was disabled...
i restarte my pc and it works for like 2 min and then it turned back on automaticly. Can someone help please
It won't even let me edit anything in Windows security. I can't scroll down there's just a reason cybersecurity box. Theres no manage settings option
Bro me too
Thank youuu
It automatically re-enables itself once a week. So I gotta re-disable it , and restore blocked files manually. IT'S SO ANNOYING!!! 💢 😡
