All shoes will have a "hidden layer" they're not made of just a strip of leather but just because there is a different coloured layer underneath that doesn't mean you're supposed to expose it. I can almost guarantee they are no longer waterproof and will stain like a bitch because these are not "hidden layer" kreps, just trainers with more than one layer.
@@amardossHe’s not wrong you goof. Do you not know how leather works? Grab any shoe from your closet and take a sand paper to it and see if you don’t get a different color beneath the top layer. Most black leather shoes are either blue or red beneath the black surface. Anyone with sense would have tried acetone, but that guy put the shoes in a washing machine and then took sandpaper to it. Don’t support him or follow his ridiculous actions.
Goofball why didn’t you use acetone? Why was your first thought “oh this is leather, let’s put it in the washing machine to wash off a layer”? That doesn’t work so you decide sand paper is your best next bet, because ya know sand paper is great at removing layers off shoes! Haha I bet if the sand paper didn’t work he’d probably try cutting off the layer with a box cutter.

The white one have a kind of a beige / cream colour underneath. Nothing crazy like this but I personally like it more
