My brother in law loves cheese balls. I never even thought about making little ones my own way.
Pro tip use wiped cream cheese or cream cheese spread and u don’t have to wait for the cream cheese to soften I have been doing this with my cheese balls,dips and cream cheese icing and saving myself a ton of time plus I was never good at leaving it to thaw I always let it go too long and would have to start over again with new ones so if u never get it right like me then try the wiped or spread cream cheese

what a great idea!!!!!! I wonder if you could freeze that cheese mixture? I cook for just myself. It would make a lot of sense to make these bite size cheese balls, freeze them and then just pull out a couple at a time and put the toppings on them when they thaw.
Yes, you can freeze them on a cookie sheet then store them in freezer bags.

Around the holidays my family alway love making cheeseballs. This would be perfect to make them bite sized that way you could have a little bit of something for everyone. What a great idea Cathrine! We aren't really doing anything for New Years Eve but New Years Day we are planning on having a traditional New Years Day dinner with a nice big ham. Then if there is any ham left over, and I'm sure there will be because it's a big ham just for 4 to 5 people, we plan on making a big crock pot of white beans and ham. We aren't sure if my youngest son will be here yet or not but I really hope so. He recently moved out on his own. Your mini cheeseballs would be the perfect appetizer for either NYE or before our big NYD dinner! I think I'd really like a mixture of the bacon and the green onion cheeseball. There's so many different things you could roll them in! A little bit of creativity is all anyone needs... Just like you have done here Cathrine! Bravo! 👏👏👏 Absolutely love this idea!
