- This is more of a sympathizing-with-the-struggle video than an instructional one. It's actually not an instructional one at all because I'm a mess at this stuff. But if you have questions please ask and JUST MAYBE I can share some lessons learned!

This is why I won't buy someone else's van conversion. It's probably overkill, but I insist on putting rust protection and butyl tape at every single point where the wall of the van is compromised. I would've treated every single screw hole I made for the studs. The overall build is fine, but that would drive me nuts. I grew up where they salt the roads in the winter and have seen way too many cars' underbodies rusted completely out for my mental health to tolerate. It's probably fine in the south, but I'm paranoid.

I have a wagon coming that I just purchased and want to have all the back seats, 2nd row is all that it has and the raised floor removed. Then have a floor installed half as high as the original raised floor. Then I can add my conversion. I want to keep the heater and a/c ducts that go to rear. I don't know who I would take it to to have just that much done.

You might find it less of a struggle if you wear some proper work trousers with built in knee pads instead of a summer dress!
Please, pay more attention for safety about your long hair, while you are near running machines.
It hurts painfull if the machine catch hair. And it goes very fast.
