Your tax software may or may not be able to include a PDF attachment to the efiled tax return. Tax software used by professionals allow you to do this, but with DIY tax software, you would have to check how to do it.

Audits are going up without a doubt especially with the new 1099Ks at $600

You mention attaching a copy of the charitable donation receipt to the tax return. How can one do that when the return is e-filed?
