I handled one in a brick and mortar and it feels really quality.
I like it as is but that price in range of a Hinderer or CRK, just no comparison.
Typical benchmade. The price never matches what they give you. That butterfly tax is only getting worse.

I like the knife but not for that price
I feel like it’s a stretch even at 300. My skaha absolutely dumps on almost everything benchmade at the $300 price point. Better fit and finish, better heat treat, amazing ergos and action. Quiet carry is another $300ish brand that has over a half dozen knives that embarrass benchmade with every drop. The large drift is a goat. The waypoint as well. The nine, the rincon, they all crush this 710 in every way.

I like this knife. Great size and shape....for $200 maybe? Kershaw makes high quality magnacut USA made knives for under $200. I hope Benchmade goes broke in the next couple of years with this charade of raping their fanboy customers. Harley Davidson is close to having the same fate with $50K bikes and no entry line anymore and productions shifting here to Thailand. F*ck Benchmade. Cheers!
