Can you do a video on working holiday visa people who got a job? Most ads ask for no work restrictions. I guess sites with no 6 month limitation would be best?

Because no one tells anyone anything:
Your best bet is to land a CONTRACT type job if you are on a six month visa. There are lots of 6 month contracts out there and it will give you a better chance to get a sponsored visa by the company you work for if you do well. Always apply direct to mining companies or headhunters who feed direct to the big mining companies. Working for "dodgy" or fly by night contractors will get you nowhere as will shutdown work (unless you want to do shutdown work your entire life- most do not).
With most shutdowns, you will get little to no support, be dropped off at a mine site, given a work pack for a site you have zero knowledge of and told see you later- in other words you will be set up to fail and your chances of 50/50 get smashed down to about 15/85, not to mention, you will spend $$$ on tickets for different mine site and companies that you may only use for one shutdown swing. To add to this, if it dosent work out, there are sometimes clauses that any paid time doing training or inductions is clawed back from you if you fail to complete a certain amount of time at the job- NEVER ACCEPT AN AGREEMENT LIKE THIS, you have no idea weather or not you can handle this industry until you have been on the ground working in a mine.
Another thing to consider is that if all you have on your CV is shutdowns, the mining companies will become reluctant to take you on full time. I have been doing shutdowns on and off for the last year, as I am between two different countries now, but I wouldn't dare list those on my CV.
Remember, the labor hire companies will tell you "ongoing work" but that is designed to fool you into a false sense of security of continued employment because they can let you go in a second and as Andrew says, all it takes is to get a garbage supervisor/ one you don't get on with or one who takes no prisoners and you're done, stuck in a remote part of the world having spent thousands to get there, which brings me to my next point.
Have six months worth of savings in the bank and an exit plan to your home country/ state if things don't work out- you don't want to have your life ruined by the whims of some supervisor who wont even remember you in two days time.
Don`t become a victim, plan your mining career carefully and you can do very well indeed.
      Good luck.
