I have pain in that exact area. For some reason my doctor thinks it could mean it’s my neck but my neck doesn’t hurt

      Hi Paladin,
The inflammatory process for any injury is about 6 weeks. This might range between individuals depending on a variety of factors including age and fitness. but the healing period which in effect is the inflammatory process is thought to be about 6 weeks. Clearly various treatment regimes may help this. The idea is to get the optimum repair, utilising whatever modalities to allow full function. Functional requirements obviously differs between people.

?? They don't refer pain or other symptoms, why does he call them trigger points?? Secondary triggers are caused by primary triggers .. seems sloppy with his terms...I think he uses "secondary" to mean not the main injury...techniques look great but its dubious this is trigger point reduction as generally understood. See Travell, Davies, etc.

It may not be the "technical" term, however, he makes his point. If you can do a better presentation, please show it. As a massage therapist, I look for new or better techniques to help alleviate my client's issues.
