This may be a bold claim, but I think the Beats Fit Pro are the best earbuds Apple ever made. Not just because they are amazing for apple users, but because unlike most other apple products, the Beats design team is aware of other amazing technologies out there like USB-C, Android support, and stemless designs. Beats is a brand purchased by Apple which gives you kind of the best of both worlds: the non apple world, and the apple world. For a while, Beats didn’t have much in terms of true wireless earbuds, but Apple did some really great things with them like absorb them into the ecosystem, add the H1 chip, offer some amazing ANC technology, add industry leading call quality, and lots of other things that make the airpods the best selling earbuds on the market.
So why do I say these are better than airpods pros? There are three main things we’ll be talking about in this video including the design, the mics/anc/sound, and the software/compatibility. Well I want to get into some testing and analysis because not everything is better, but let’s start with what is different
The design
No stem is a good design
Lots of people recognize and appreciate the beats logo
Many colors! Another non-airpod thing to do
Vote on aesthetics (I personally like these better)
Silicone wingtip grips ear perfectly and holds these in my ears (an issue I had with the old AirPods Pros)
Perfect for workouts or anyone who loves earhooks
I think the name was a play on words FIT PRO
Physical button is the right choice for workouts - sweat, gloves, etc.
Better than force sensors
Not customizable, no volume controls, symmetric
Case charges with USB-C
6+18 hrs battery
Cheaper than the airpods pro

Overall, the sound is typical of beats although slightly less bass heavy. What does this mean? well...
Powerful Boomy bass - could be a bit tighter honestly
Not as powerful as some other beats which are too bass-forward
Low mids get eclipsed by bass and some frequency bleeding
Emphasis on cymbals - these eclipse other frequencies
Definitely a bit of a v-shape, with big bass and obvious highs
Highs lack detail and clarity though
Far from analytical and suffer from some congestion
There is, however, one big issue. My pair has a crackling that is continuous with the earbuds
This is actually super annoying for any quieter songs
ANC
Test compared to AirPods Pro and I cannot tell a difference
Software & compatibility
Apple ecosystem, and also good for androids
Android support (app) - but not as good as studio buds
Siri
Spatial audio is fun and cool but I never turn it on because it is weird to me
Mono mode
Transparency mode
Auto play/pause
Smart switching between devices
Overall, I am really really happy that Beats made these and I think these are a fantastic addition to the earbuds market.

*SMALL CORRECTION * these DO have volume controls but you need to switch the long press feature from the default (anc control) to volume control. Therefore these are technically customizable too, but barely. I’m still holding it as a drawback. Many earbuds let you choose the exact feature of the single, double, triple press, and press & hold on each earbuds independently (8 options vs 1 here). I really do like these earbuds overall though!!
I could definitely use these for working out. As much as I love my Sony WF-1000XM4 earbuds, they will sometimes wobble a bit if I moving a lot!

These are the earbuds I imagined and had been waiting for for years! Picked up a black set yesterday to replace my AirPods Pro.👍
I own the Beats Fit Pro and the AirPods Pro and I agree with your review…the Beats are better overall. One thing you didn’t mention was that thanks to USB-C…they charge up faster than AirPods. Wireless charging was cool 2 years ago but it’s the slowest way to charge anything and takes twice as long in most cases especially compared to USB-C charging with a fast charging brick.
How are the bass on these compared to the Pros?

These were expensive for me but they are some of the best I have ever had . The sound quality and EQ sound settings could be even more phenomenal for that price point however

How well does the volume control works? How sensitive is the increase or decrease in loudness when you hold down the button?

I totally agreed with your Beats Studio Buds review especially with cracking sound and audio quality! I experienced it and ended up resell the earbuds. Since you commented Beats Fit Pro with similar issues then I would better stay away from this earbuds!

Great video. Thanks for the info. Question 4 U. I owned a pair of Power Beats 3 and experienced the faulty issue of disconnecting. It was a know issue and Apple never did anything about them. I am on the fence about buying these NEW fit pro’s for fear of the same issue. Being that both are Beat products. I know it’s only been a week but any issues with Bluetooth or just randomly disconnecting or shutting off? Thanks for your help.

Great video. I’m going with the Beats Fit Pro because I currently have the AirPods 1st Gen and I keep knocking them out when I take my shirt off after working out lol.
I have been waiting for SOMEONE to acknowledge the crackling sound you describe at 9:02. I noticed it within two seconds of putting these in my ears, and haven’t stopped hearing it since. I really, really don’t like it, despite how subtle it is. It’s tough because these fit extremely securely and I want to love them! I mean, I served tennis balls with full motion for 20 minutes, and the earbuds didn’t budge for a second! But I can’t get over the crackling. I’m returning these, regrettably.

i have the regular power beats for running and i am very happy, 15 hours battery life, with a cable, just in case u would lose any (hard to happen btw), very confortable and with physical buttons for volumen, on/off and play/pause/skip/former
I never used ANC before so when I tried these it really blew my mind. It’s like you’re in your own world
Strongly agreed on the fit issue with Airpods Pro. I brought a pair of hooks to be used during workouts and it has to be stored separately.
Have you done a review of the Master and Dynamic true wireless yet? You mentioned them at the end but I haven't seen one on your channel

As someone who listened to $kilo buck headphones everyday I am very happy with the Beats. The excellent quality of the imaging and instrument separation was a pleasant surprise. Drums clearly lower left. Piano clearly top left. Really fun listen. Depending on the recording of course.
I own this beats and was actually waiting for your review, great video these are the best buds I ever had, I had the galaxy buds pro before and the transparency mode it's a bit better on them but I don't really use it and the anc it's better on the beats also I've never felt the crackling u mentioned

I got studio buds they still work like new! My little sister stomped on them threw them. And my dog chewed the case up and they still work like new!

I just got these, I agree. Better than my AirPod Pro’s. They fit better and the customizable buttons are better. The only negative is the bigger and flimsy feeling case.

Can you please confirm if it has the same Voice focus feature which came with iOS 15 for AirPods Pro. Feature that focuses on the conversation to make them clear in distance
For mic test, you should have tested sound from ipod pro so people can easily compare side by side.
9:15 I get the crackling noise on these too but only when placing the buds in my ears. When I finish adjusting them, the crackling noise stops. I use them on my iPhone 13

I just bought the beats fit pro to replace the third pair of the new Bose noise canceling earbuds. I find the beats fit pro work better than the Bose noise canceling ear phones. I love these new beats pro noise canceling ear buds. I did not notice the buzzing noise you referred to in your review.
I own Beats Studio Bud, and yes i suffer from the crackling sound only during video conference for few hours. Get a replacement from and its gone.
Cant wait to get Fit since it got H1 chip. Should be life saving to switch devices from iPhone to iPad
The crackling noise used to be the problem of the airpods pro, i had mine replaced twice for it.
I wish they put out the Beats Fit Pro in red, but otherwise they seem to be the perfect workout headphones that I've always been looking for. I nearly pulled the trigger on the Powerbeats Pro's a year ago, but I'm glad that I held off because they looked so goofy looking and had a huge case. Now, all I have to wait for, is for the Fit Pros to be released in Canada!
Beware/ they unfortunate don’t stay in my ears during workouts and runs.

@@Peter-yc1rs weird for the design of these for sure. I finally got a refund and bought Nothing Ear 1 and they are amazing and are also an in ear design. Also normal Apple AirPods no problem but those just hang and sit outside the canal. These just kept falling out and never felt secure in my ear.

I’ve owned these for about a week already and I gotta say they are starting to really grow on me. Although I still think the sound quality on the Airpods Pro is way better I can’t really deal with the fear of the Airpods Pro falling of my ear after a few minutes. I use a third party silicone wingtip that is finicky to put on the Airpods Pro but provides the security I need. These however are good to go right out of the case and I don’t have to finagle with another product to keep them in my ear.

appreciate the review man! I just switched from an iPhone to the Pixel 6, and even though my Airpods Pro technically work on Android, the experience is a bit frustrating. So I'm looking for a new pair that will work better. Looks like I'll have to decide between these and those Sennheiser CX plus.

People obsess about the accidental press of the button when adjusting the BFPs but I haven't had to make adjustments, and operate my buds from my Apple watch flawlessly to cut down on operator error.
I have not had any crackling at all though I run with my phone. I have heard about issues running these off the Apple Watch.
Do the beats also have the same vents to get rid of the pressure related noises u get in your ears when walking or jogging with inears as the Airpods pro have? That would be a key feature for me.
I just picked up a pair of these and the only thing I have found that makes the Air Pods Pro better is the transparency mode. The Beats have this white noise going on in transparency mode where the Air Pods Pro doesn't
Do these have a boom effect when you are running like the Studio Buds? My AirPods Pro don’t do this, maybe because they don’t fit too deep within your ear
the crackling seems like the same defects that Airpods Pro had. I think you can ask for a replacement for this

About the crackling that has happened to me with every AirPods, I have had so far. It doesn't happen with wired headphones I think it's an iOS issue or Bluetooth issue that Apple hasn't fixed yet.
Finally a pair of wireless earphones with anc that has an ear wing. Great review!

I just bought these last week and damn they are awesome. They are better than my AirPods Pro and beats studio earbuds. I was hesitant at first because I just own way to many beats, bose and apple headphones and earbuds and man was it a great investment they sound amazing and the noise canceling is awesome. I truly highly recommend these.

At this point USB-C is the Apple ecosystem. Lightning is the annoying outlyer that they can't seem to quit on the iPhone.
I waited a couple years for these to come out and they do not disappoint. They are all of the AirPods tech mixed with traditional sensibility.

I recently got these last week and when I paired them there was an update right away. I'm assuming the update fixed the crackling sound because I have not heard any crackling sound when I have mine on no matter the volume or music. I am connected to a Galaxy S21 Ultra so I'm assuming they fixed the issue with the software update. Great review!

Great review! I am a long time airpods pro user user and I switched to android about a year ago. I love my airpods pro. I love the silicone tip and I don't mind the stem. The sound quality is way better than any Galaxy buds I've tried. I used to have beats that would hang around my neck. I can't remember what they were called. I really look for comfort and great sound quality so if These are so closely comparable to airpods pro then I'm definitely interested
sound quality is on par w airpods pro and the comfort should be there altho it depends on ur ears
Get the soundcore liberty 3 pros if you have Android. You get LDAC and much better sound

i lowkey feel like wanting to switch to this but also, feels like doesn't seem value for price enough as I'm using galaxy buds pro currently, which is decent for running and not perfect, but if I switch to this, I may need to sacrifice few things such as,
1. IPX4 rating only (Powerbeats pro I used previously wasn't good enough for me as I sweat lot)
2. Big case
3. No wireless charging.
Even 2 and 3 I can manage to adapt and use it, but IP rating is something I value higher since that one cant compromise as I already faced difficulties during powerbeats pro and galaxy buds plus, where IP with all rated less than x4
I had airpod pros for a few years but i have a galaxy phone so i cant customize it but they work great with my mac. I have switched beats eco system. I have the studio pros and now these and they work soooo well with both my mac and galaxy.
Bought mine yesterday so far I have the anc on and have the long press for volume, love the fit very comfortable in my ears.

Insert the ear and gently rotate it into place and the smaller tip will the earbuds fit for what you have small ears?
I don't really care about wireless charging, for me it's a pointless gimmick.
I only care about battery life and how good the anc is.......and the price too.

When people complain about its absence, I don't get exactly why. Charging the case via the port charges the case much faster so I don't see why anyone would want to charge the case wirelessly over wired.
Had ‘em for a few days no crackle hopefully it stays that way
No wireless charging... that's a no from me as well. I'm just so used to dropping things in my charging matt now. Or even getting then a little extra life on the back of my phone. All of this is so much more convenient than cables!

I’m wondering if the white beats here feel more like the AirPods Pro ear tips. The black ones I have feel way less soft than the white ones of the AirPods Pro. I just might have to get some white ones to try out

Have used Galaxy buds + for 15 months. Material has sticky sweat after one hr . use. Have now Jabra elite 7 pro. This tips are deep in ear canals . Dont fall out and good anc with m size tips. Has my sound in apps but not affective . Beats fit pro looks for comfortable. Will try soon.

Hi Mike a question for you what earbuds do you like most for passive noise cancellation? I know this has a lot for do with fit. I am a pastor and I need to be in church with reasonably noise levels of music. I was wondering if your have use Bose 2 or Airpod pro 2 or the beats fit pros in a loud music environment? I have a not so common question about the fit pros that i want to know if anyone can answer who has these?
Im like daniel and use the power beats pro. Simply because my ears automatically reject any ear buds even when im not working out. I need a (Hook) to keep them in place. Is anyone out there like this too? My ear holes are not supper small but somehow always reject any ear bud. Its insane no matter how deep i force it in.
My question is, for those who have this problem, have you tried the fit pro? and dose its little hook they added really keep the ear bud secure during regular day to day life for someone who has my ear rejection problem?
Please someone answer. I just need to know if the little hook even helps secure the but at all because my ears can only depend on hooks for any activity. I see the hook could curve into the upper enclosed part of the ear. But no one has really shown or gave detail on how good the hook works. Please please if anyone has this issue and has tried it with the fit pro please answer this question. Thank you.

I took the Beats Pro back to Apple yesterday. I think they are uncomfortable and while the music was better the noise cancellation was not. Sticking with my AirPods Pro

Wondering if anyone else has had my experience. I do a great deal of work online and clients are complaining about the sound breaking up when I use the Beats Fit Pro, but no one complained about that with my Air Pods Pro (before I lost them).
