Hi, first of all great job with a comprehensive review! I am in the unfortunate boat where most in- hear headphones do not fit. Specifically Bluetooth in ear head-phones. I test and returned the first Gen Airpod pro since they kept falling out. The fatal flaw with most in in ear Bluetooth ear phones is that they are too large and heavy to remain in the ear. This is especially evident since headphone in your ears move with every move of your mouth. Whether you are smiling, chewing food or just adjusting your facial expression through out the day. The constant uneasiness of your headphones slipping out your ears adds more to day -to day anxiety . This in turn reverses the purpose of headphone which is escape. The only in ear head phone that were non panic creating for me were galaxy buds live. Because they actually do not go in your ear. However they have horrible ANC. As an iphone user I made the compromise for 2 years since they were only buds that worked for me. But the battery started to die off. I was in the market for new headphones. I knew that the new Airpods pro 2 with the same overall ergonomic would not work. So I gave the latest Beats Studio Plus a chance in the transparent case. They were fantastic on the surface. However they still gave me the panic feel of falling out. This brings me to your review. After watching your review I returned the beats studios plus. I am rocking the beats fit pro in sage and I cannot thank you enough for convincing m e to take a chance. These headphones are everything that I was missing form the apple ecosystem. H1, Find my, spatial, and all that sweet sound. No matter what they say H1 is better than the proprietary beats chip. Long story cut short if you want the first gen Airpod Pro that stay in your ear then get the Beats fit Pro!
IMO the hinge is not cheap it has a big flap to open if they make it tight it can break easily while in bag or pocket so little flex in hinge cap can make it durable.
@@AK-sy6hycompletely agree, saying weaker gives room to flex to prevent breaking is nonsensical. Strong hinge would prevent it from breaking. Must have been cost saving issue.
These ear buds ended up being the best earbuds and one of my favorite things so far. I was a bit skeptical at first - Beats's former and terrible reputation of being another overpriced status quo brand with little to no substance wasn't quite inviting and impressive to me, but that Apple acquisition has matured the brand. These earbuds are the best example of that so far. The best thing about these earbuds is that they nail the most paramount and frustrating sticking point most earbuds fail miserably at - a SECURE FIT. No matter what I do, that wingtip does the job most other earbuds fail miserably at - stay in my ears indefinitely and consistently. Other earbuds frustratingly rely on gravity, eartips, the "center of gravity" (Google's weird explanation for the Pixel Buds Pro's "secure fit"), your ears, or some other bullshit that isn't secure, rather than a design and fit that actually focuses on a secure fit. I can't tell you how important this is to me beyond it being a deal breaker for me if it isn't a thing with any earbuds. What good is an earbud without this? Nothing else matters if they don't STAY in your ears. Anyway, the worst things and the only gripes I have with them is that for $200, there's no wireless charging case included, which is inexcusable for what is supposed to be TRUE WIRELESS earbuds, regardless of price. This is 2023, and this should already be a standard for such a product. The spatial audio should have been universal as well. Why make it for Android if I can't fully access the device's capabilities? This dumb walled garden stuff is truly some low IQ nonsense. Anyway, I've rambled enough; I plan to pick up the dune and moon Beats X Kim Beats Fit Pro to complement my pink gold S22+, and daily drive them until something truly amazing succeeds the Beats Fit Pro. They just check all the right boxes most earbuds struggle to, starting with that oh so paramount secure fit.
I don't know why they couldn't have done a case like the Studio Buds. They did really well with that case. This one seems like a step backwards. I would rather the Fit Pros than the AirPods Pro 2 because of the bass and to still have the Apple experience, but I flex back and forth from the Studio Buds and the Sony WF-1000XM4s. The Sony's seem a bit more clunky having to use their app and the Beats integrate easier, but the XM4s just sound so much better and makes everything else sound so flat.
Bro you are awesome!. Your reviews are on point and no BS. I had both APP and Beats Fit pro too. The AirPods gives me allergy which is on-going discussion on apple community forum. I tried Sony's XM3 and the new LG T90 with UV nano, which I thought would help with my allergy. Beats Fit Pro is a life-saverfor me. I'm using it for almost a year now. New subscriber here. Love from Hong Kong.
I had trouble with them being very uncomfortable as well. But I basically shaved down the little tail and it was way more comfortable. It doesn’t affect the quality of the air Bud because it’s just the tail part which is just rubber. Unfortunately, though when I went to use the the buds yesterday, the right one had stopped working out of the blue. I don’t know really how I feel about these but if they can’t even last a year then I’m not too thrilled.
Great video man! Love the honesty of your reviews compared to other sponsored/bias reviews. My birthday is coming up and im keeping my eye on these two pairs of earbuds!❤
I have 3 pair of Beats Fit Pros and 1 of the 2nd gen AirPods Pro. I use all of them on any given day and have to charge 2 pair of Beats every other night, the other about every 4 nights, and the AirPods Pro once a week or a little more often. the AirPods are almost exclusively for meetings at work (working remotely) due to the better microphone, and I always carry them when I go somewhere like the grocery store, Costco, etc. for both the better microphone, smaller size, and easy volume adjustment. The Beats are for my Apple TVs and phone. Yes, I spend the vast majority of my day with earbuds in my ears. Your review matches my experience almost exactly, except I find the microphones on the Beats need to be cleaned regularly and it helps to find which bud, right or left, works best for the microphone and set that bud as the default for the microphone.
I can't thank you enough Cameron on this review of Beats Fit Pro versus Apple's Airpods. I tested the Airpods at an Apple's shop and always wondered if the stem on an Apple airpod would work for while I'm working out at the gym and active outside. You saved me money by choosing the Beats Fit Pro which seems to have the same qualities as the Apple Airpods with a better fit in the ear.
Thanks so much! I have power Beats Pro which I love but my left ear gets sore cause I had ear surgery which changed the shape of my ear canal. Very excited to try the beats fit pro. The hooks will keep them in the right spot in my weird ears.
I am really clumsy and the Beats Fit Pro are perfect for me. I am anxious, I have panic attacks… but my ears+Beats Fit Pro are really amazing. It’s a shame that you can charge them only with USB-C. Apple Airpods(each version) were really bad for my ears. Falling out a lot. And I really need a case for the charging case😂 so many for Apple products(I know that Apple owns Beats 🙄) but none for Beats Fit Pro. But I love music and I’ve had many earphones/headphones and they are definitely in my top 3.
Thank you so much for mentioning the “comfort curve” for the BFP. I bought the purple ones from Best Buy and sadly returned them three days later because the wing dug into my ears horribly. I’ll give them another go, then, if they take that long to fit into my ears. I’m more of a headphone girl as well, anyway, so like you, they’ll primarily be for work and the gym.
Thanks for the great summary. I'm considering the Beats Fit Pro to replace the Powerbeats Pro that (at least for me) had a real problem where semi-regularly only one earbuds would not charge in the case. So you would go to use them and only one ear was charged. Just wondering if you experienced anything like that with the Beats Fit Pros?
Thanks! I’ve had that situation with AirPods previously and I’d always have to jiggle them around to fix the connection or potentially clean the end of it where the charge connection happens. I haven’t had that with the Beats, though. Their magnetic connection in the case is quite strong. That may be the cause or it’s possible that I just got lucky. Tough to say definitively.
Apple air buds pro malfunctioned and wouldn’t pair after 1 year, when you perspire it falls out of the ears. However, the sound is fantastic, setting up and using touch functions are easy
great review i have them for about 9 months same color too, i put a translucent tape to cover the bottom mic [i.e under the b logo] and the call quality is much better try it it won’t hurt the mic as you can remove that piece of tape easily.
from my experience, for some reason the Mic i covered picks up my voice simultaneously with the second sided inward mic. i found out that the sided inward mic picks my voice better hence i covered the downward mic. and if i let both uncovered they tend to muffle each other like a confusing job. sorry for my bad english @@deanhatescoffee
as it goes for the fit, which is better? im planning on buying earbuds for running and these are going to be my first ones so i really have a difficult time deciding between the Soundcore X10 or Movebuds H1 or JBL Reflect Pro or Powebeats or Fit pro. Very helpful review. I came here mostly related to comfort and ear-fit. You mentioned these may feel awkward for 1-3 months before you get used to them. Anything that requires a month of use to feel good about--basically that's not a good fit. I give up WAY sooner than a month. Also, that spread would leave you far outside the return window.
hi have you ever actually used AirPods? if so which ones? cause I have the AirPods Pro 2nd Gen. They preform very well for me considering that I have used them for every single second of the day and I've had them since December. my main question is why you think they suck (obviously in your opinion)?? what model of Beats are you getting??
I have have very large ears and nothing stays in! My ear canal is also bigger than average and I need something that will just stay in during my workouts. Are these suitable for large ears and will they fall out after a few jumps? Also, do they go deeply into your ear or not?
Nice review - I have both and totally agree with your assessment, my AirPods Pro also fall out of my ear with no effort from me which is very frustrating. One thing about the Beats Fit Pros case - it is darn slippery and can slip out of my hands and be damaged striking the ground. Beats Fit Pros is my choice over AirPods Pro.

It’s annoying at the gym, does anyone have this issue?? I only been having this issue with the beats fit pro. Not AirPods

One bud was an awesome fit but the other would work it’s way loose every few mins when jogging. Returned them for a refund because they did not stay secure as advertised. I guess I’m in the minority of customers who has an abnormal ear shape?
Does anyone know how to check the battery level on each ear bud, not the case not both earbuds, I need the left and the right??...it sometimes comes up but I do not know how to command it.
Earbuds and headphones in general need to be reviewed from two important factors: Sound quality, noise cancelling and charging capabilities... everything else is trash!!
The case is absolutely terrible. They purposely did this to make it worse than airpods. I was shocked how cheap the case feels, so much so that when I got them I thought they were fake…
Not sure why what cable charges what lmfao. I carry three cables because it’s three cable I need to carry. Never said man wish I could just carry two cables. I carry a MagSafe battery pack hardly ever used it, think once, but if I think the 60 grams is getting too much I better head to a gym. Lol.
I’m trying hard to wait for the next gen Beats Fit Pros even a year later. Also, loved the flip flop toe analogy lol. 🩴 The foot-loving community probably roared with applause at that point. 😅
I like your reviews/videos. Very minimalist and very informative at the same time.
That means the world. Thanks!

Does anyone know how to check the battery level on each ear bud, not the case not both earbuds, I need the left and the right??...it sometimes comes up but I do not know how to command it.
U wait for that screen to pop up than u remove one earbud than the percent should show for both earbuds
Need a widget on your iPhone that also helps
Bruh I thought it was the buds. But my left ear sucks with these maybe its the tips I haven't had an issue with others
Earbuds and headphones in general need to be reviewed from two important factors:
Sound quality, noise cancelling and charging capabilities... everything else is trash!!
I can see if it was yes earbuds
Like most people care about the hinge
Use that shirt pocket, no squeak
😂 a man with solutions right here!
These felt heavy in my ears prefer AirPod pro
Interacting and wondering if that's a sweet potato.
Apples to apples comparison 😂
The case is absolutely terrible. They purposely did this to make it worse than airpods. I was shocked how cheap the case feels, so much so that when I got them I thought they were fake…
I think you can buy a replacement case from a third party brand
my right ear stopped working after 2 yrs dont rexcomend
Not sure why what cable charges what lmfao. I carry three cables because it’s three cable I need to carry. Never said man wish I could just carry two cables. I carry a MagSafe battery pack hardly ever used it, think once, but if I think the 60 grams is getting too much I better head to a gym. Lol.
👍
They die young though unfortunately
You don’t look like you runner thats why you like this lazy head phone 😊😊
I’m trying hard to wait for the next gen Beats Fit Pros even a year later. Also, loved the flip flop toe analogy lol. 🩴 The foot-loving community probably roared with applause at that point. 😅
Awesome review. Thank you 🙏
You got it!
Hey do they announce voice massages?
Because Beats Studio don’t
Really great review!!! Thanks
