I waited years to buy my first one and finally purchased one when I found it on sale. That was around January 2023, a Neon Yellow Coronado. Really love it. Decided to buy a couple more later that year in November as an early holiday gift for myself. Well, I’ve gone deep into the Melin rabbit hole and now have over 50 of them. Actually two more were just delivered today and I have another 9 in transit that should arrive this weekend. Really enjoyed your review. Thank you for making content for us to enjoy. I see you have a wide range of topics and quite a few videos over the past 9 months. Just got me to subscribe and look forward to watching your videos.
@@laoc5270 wow! That’s a ton of hats - I’m totally jealous. Thanks for checking out the video and for subscribing. More videos on the way in the coming weeks.
Price is by far the only con for me. I buy 2 at a time to get free shipping. They’ve now come out with the Hydrolite model which is definitely lighter, so I don’t know if “feels heavy” would apply. Not sure if they get as hot as the other models. I got one and liked it so much I got a 2nd in a different color. All that being said, I have numerous hats from various companies and for a while I stayed away from Melin because of the cost. However, I’ve come back to them (after a couple of years) because they really are a good hat. They are high quality and look good. I have running hats that can be machine washed but they don’t look as good as a Melin hat, not one, and I have many. Thanks for your ‘over time’ review!
I recently purchased two A-Game Hydros, one white and one royal blue. Took the white one on a 5 day trip to NYC, first day it got really sweaty and showed some yellowish stains. Gave it a good wash and was looking new in no time. The next few days sweat will show on the hat, but it dried fast and left no stains.
Good to hear - I need to give mine a wash. Glad you like them - hope the trip to NYC was good. Still on the list for me to visit. Thanks for checking out the video.
I found mine at Nordstrom Rack for 39.99$. Had it over a year and it is a steal. Washed it 3x over the last year and it still looks brand new. Totally worth 69$ considering the price of New Era hats.
@@SaturdayisDadurdaymedia They seem like awesome hats, so I’m keeping my eyes open for price drops, but in my opinion the current prices are unjustifiable.

@@hnnngbrah glad you such a good deal - and glad you like the hat. Thanks for checking out the video!
Melin(made in America?) and Salt Mafia(made in China) are great hats both are durable, comfortable and holds shape 😊
$85 per hat, with tax and shipping. Not worth it.
It def is a high price for a hat. Quality is there but yeah, that’s a lotta lettuce for a hat. Thanks for checking out the video!

A nice golf or New Era hat is easily $40 this us more but the quality is way way better!
@@marcusmeteer Agreed - they can take a beating and still hold up. Thanks for checking out the video!
