This game is based upon the 2005 Stephen Spielberg movie The War of the Worlds, Starring Tom Cruise. This film is based upon the Novel by H.G Wells and I have to say this is probably the best we're ever going to get in terms of a game adaption of the film. Today we take a look at the early gameplay footage.

How did it take me until the gameplay update to realize that one can simply nuke the tripods? the movies will be so much shorter if we drop the sun a few times XD
There’s a crap ton of them plus there’s a reason why everybody was afraid of nukes during the Cold War

Cannot wait for this. It looks better with every video they bring out, and you can see they're listening to the feedback they've been getting. I've wishlisted this on Steam and for once I'll be more than happy to pay the RRP instead of waiting for a sale!

I am looking forward to this game.
I am a fan of the 2005 movie and while some scenes are really good some of it is just not diving too deep into it like there is no change in location like in some Zombie movies/series where you can see other parts of the world in 2005 its just a throwaway line with the news reporter.
Kit if you see this message I was just wondering what kind of pc you use and monitor and how cheap it is and if it runs steam because it’s hard to find a good one less than 799

This is on Unity? I'm surprised Raf's sticking with the engine even after all the BS Unity tried to pull.
At the start of the year he was considering moving over to unreal engine 5 but it would have delayed the game A LOT and the community had very mixed feelings about it, so he stuck with unity
They way Unity are going, they might soon have to go Unreal Engine anyway.@@Uberkit
Goes to show what having a little passion for something can make wonders, while you can have millions and millions of dollars to make a game and still have it turn out like trash

What all these updates are telling me is that with each update to the game the odds of it running smoothly on my dog ass pc diminishes. Guess ill download grey skies
well actually he's been optimizing the game more and more with every update, it's actually running better as time goes on
@@Uberkit if what you say is true then there is hope for my dogshit PC. Maybe someday soon we will all be cowering in a basement (in game of course) and suddenly a random nuke event vaporizes us
