Bio male. “They” are not transgender though, so “they” are really embracing this non-binary, gender nonconforming role that I am much less educated about.

I saw this last night without Alex and it enraged me watching an actual woman do the role to think they let this full on man in a dress take this part when it’s clearly written for a woman. There are female anatomy jokes and an arc that includes having children with a biological man. Stop the madness. So many female character actresses out there don’t get work and this is a wonderful role for them. Sick of this trash narrative that men get to dress as us and play us and we have to just step aside and be ok with it or get called bigots. I have zero love for this person for winning a Tony that HE had no business winning.
