The worse possible thing that can happen with the spinner is if it doesn't stop due to weird eldritch powers. That wouldn't at all be creepy! It will also definitely warp with all that goo! lol
Awesome video! Spinner is fun but certainly won't last as long as a die. However, the manufacturing cost of a custom die is high in comparison to a simple spinner.
I swore I'd never kickstart a Tiny Epic game after being severely disappointed with the solo mode of Vikings. (So broken and never fixed to my knowledge). However I've backed this after watching your video as it looks like it may play alot better! Cheers!
Looks interesting and gameplay looks fun. Spinner I'm not too bothered about if it works it works. Be interesting if they put a dice option in as well? So you get both.
If I didn't already have Cthulu:Death May Die all painted up I would try this one, but honestly these tiny box games still take up tons of space, so might as well set up the big boy version! This does look fun, will wait until its in retail and see what reviews say. I don't see that much interesting combat which is my favorite part of these eldritch games usually
There's no real combat, any more than scientists "fight" the cubes in Pandemic. If combat is your thing then this one might be a pass. You're here for resource management, getting the right amount without going over, and managing the multiple crises at once.
Gotcha, yeah I dont love the "everything is awful" type games where you just scramble to fix all the bad stuff. When I think of Cthulu I think of killing monsters! @@OneStopCoopShop
People these days are just too precious with games. Always worrying about wear and tear to the point of sleeving everything even putting tokens in plastic protectors. Makes me laugh. I haven’t sleeved a single card in any of my games. I’ve bought second hand games with sleeved cards in them and taken all the sleeves off. All the cards, tokens from my games are still just fine. So I’m happy with the spinner. Don’t see any problem with it. Couldn’t care less about the people whining over wear and tear.

I would love to see "Tiny epic dungeons 2" Sorry, small dungeons crawlers are my weakness.
Not out of the realm of possibility!

Their cooperative games are much easier to get to the table solo, for sure.
I don’t mind the spinner at all. I think it’s a clever and useful design, as well as slightly thematic as you are “spiraling into madness”.
They could replace the spinner with a dice and a dice tray in the middle, maybe?
I think they want the spinning to be at the core identity of the game.
Cthulhu, small-ish footprint, I was all about this until the spinner.

They’re putting a version of the spinner on an app. Maybe that will allay some concerns.
