Glad you are back mate. I think the factory should stay at the industrial complex and work on cargo train connection to the port

Hi ... I totally understand why you rebuild the highway connection, you had good reasons for that.
3:00 One thing however was really good about the old interchange (or at least three quarters of it): the location. It connected to a street that also has a bridge across the rail line and continued as a road up to Underhill district. Just by the power of connectivity offered this could have been a great collector/arterial road.
9:33 Now compare the situation. Neither of the roads at the new interchanges have a clear and straight-on path to the other side of the rail line. The Belmont-South connecting could continue beyond the Belmont-North-South arterial bridging over into Hillside Hills, restoring a decent connection to Underhill. The industrial collector at Belmont-North 8:32 could be redirected (like an S-curve) further North, continuing over the road bridge north of Belmont station. This would also increase the distance between the two highway connections ... an issue that bothered you.
26:09 Weird lane changes ... What you could do: lane connectors all the way through Belmont separate the left lane of the highway. Enter the lane before the Belmont highway connections and leave them afterwards if you just want to pass through. Those who enter or leave the highway at one of the Belmont interchanges have the (center and) right lane for all their weaving stuff. The isolated left lane can have its own higher speed limit.

Factories and steel works at the port with road and rail connections to industry area.

Expand belmont as you suggested to fill that corner area in. Steel mill goes otherside of piper wilson street alongside train cargo station which has a line down to the docks, maybe have electrornics factory in this area as well ? Change 3 way freeway juction to feed this new area as well, so direct route to oil stuff up by port seppero, or prehaps just a cargo rail line?

Always such a joy to watch your content. I would put the big factories, like the steel and electronics more toward the port. In addition to their products, they tend to generate a lot of traffic. So, the shorter the distance between factory and ship, the better.

I’m always impressed with how you lay out and detail your areas, I hope I can make mine half as nice! Another fantastic episode!!

I think you should keep all the mega factories at the port! I would definitely leave some room for a beach side resort town aside from the one that’s kinda far from everything
