Notes ► Pretty Cure is probably my favorite magical girl franchise. Seriously - everything is ridiculously feminized, to the point there's this humorous whiplash when the girls literally beat the ever living piss out of a villain because they had the nerve to insult flowers. And that is not a bad thing in the least. I absolutely love it!! All of the power stemming from the pretty cure cast is based on femininity and how awesome girl power can be, like most magical girl series are - the main difference being precure's obtain the ability to break every bone in your body rather than spinning around magical sticks. That's the beauty of pretty cure.
Smile is definitely my favorite series, despite criticisms for having a weak story. Seriously though I can throw on an episode of this and it's like I don't even care how the rest of my day goes because it puts me in such a positive mood. Kinda silly and melodramatic, I guess, but when I was suicidal, this series helped me like you wouldn't believe. Bless this show and how gut wrenchingly optimistic it is.
As for the video itself - shiny scenes, transformations and colorful attacks abounds. I want to do a video using all of the pretty cures someday, but I wanted to see a decent one for smile since it'll always have a special place in my heart!

When you talked about your suicidal thoughts & how Precure helped you go through your hardships you made me remember about that time when I was super depressed in high school & how Shugo chara made me regain my confidence & smile, I can totally relate !

I hear ya. I dunno where all the hate comes from for Doki Doki. I loved it. Except maybe Cure Ace, she was pretty mean. But so was Candy in Smile. Maybe I can forgive them.

(Haha punnnnnn) But actually though, this is really well made. :D I've been looking for a new anime to start recently and I might watch this after seeing this vid. :3 (also I need a magical girl series to watch that won't scar me for life and bring emotional ruin to my body after the ordeal that i went through after madoka)

While Smile precure did get a CRAPPY English dub the Movie for it did NOT.
So what i'm gathering is that Glitter Force is a complete rip off? or is the anime misidentified in the description? cause this looks a LOT like Glitter Force.

Is this one of those incredibly lame shows that Chiika constantly time and again makes them look good or is this a good show?
It's just a magical girl show, but it's pretty good for a magical girl show. I certainly enjoyed it, but it's not for everyone.
