This is epic. Great representation of the dark side of Princess Tutu. I recommend the Anime highly to anyone who is interested. It seems cutesy at first, but it gets really deep. It's about changing your fate.

The first half is the first season which is 13 episodes and the second season is up to 38 episodes but they mash up together to make it 13 episodes so it’s 26 episodes together

Princess Tutu is starting to become a much more popular anime than I had originally thought. At first none of my anime-watching friends had ever even heard of this amazing, dramatic spectacle of a series. Now I don't know anyone who isn't a fan. AMVs like this just make it even better. He is literally singing about feeling angry and jealous and wanting to become violent over seeing the person he loves with someone else. And while he hates it, he also likes it, because its gives him a rush. I think we can all relate to the fact love can hurt, but we still want to be in love.
Try the french song "Tourner da le Vide" by Indila, I discovered it as a nightcore song but that was too fast so I had to listen to the original, but I found it about as catchy as this, just wish there was a good amv for it.

AAH THE AMV THAT INTRODUCED ME TO PRINCESS TUTU... I've been looking for this for like 10 years omg
This is my favorite Princess Tutu AMV, and possibly my favorite AMV that I've seen. It's just so perfect at capturing the darkness and fantasy in Princess Tutu. Whenever I'm trying to convince a friend to watch Princess Tutu, and they say, "Oh, but that's a GIRL'S show!" I show them this AMV.
This is suuuuuper late, but have you seen the "Hold Me Now" AMV? It's not better, I don't think, but I find it just as good.

Well if you like amv's that highlight the dark side of an anime, I know one for Soul Eater that just focuses on it's dark side (only if you've seen it tho it can spoil a bit). But it's called "Soul Eater -- Counting Bodies Like Sheep" Hope maybe you like it! X )

This series reminded me a lot of the Fairy Tales I used to enjoy as a child. That and the truly badass amv you mentioned helped me make the gut choice to rush out and buy the anime (did it at an expo) and did not regret it. So wonderfully done. Dark and chilling, but still containing the sense of wonder and hope that defines Fairy Tales. Such a good series!
