When watching Corornation Street, the machine in the cafe was always been played. But it was always an extra just standing there mashing the buttons and putting money in, when they were obviously pretending because the machine was constantly in atract mode. Always used to make me laugh.
Way back when... like 30-40 years ago... in one episode Phylis bemoans David for playing it... and is ovwr the moon when he leaves 10p in the payout tray
When Leslie Nielsen walks into the pub, the glass door reads "Public Rab". Not this advert, but another of the Red Rock series was filmed at Sandown Racecourse, masquerading as an airport.
I remember watching Coronation Street years ago. They had Kev Webster playing a machine in the pub. Can't remember exactly which machine it was but I distinctly remember the sounds of the reels landing after each spin were not the ones from that machine. Amazing how something like that can really annoy you. 😂
I find that playing the video back at 1.75x speed is the perfect pace to listen to your voice. What you could do of course is talk a bit faster, this way your videos would be way shorter and more appealing to watch.

Would have thought after all the years you would have at least got back to one question. But you haven’t. As never really took you for someone like that. Your last few uploads have given chance for us to ask you questions as comments allowed. Plus over the years here and there we were able to ask questions or put comments?? But no reply.

And to get more insider info on how the slots were played. Most likely the slot that was in your upload. So it’s up to you if you leave them on or off. Also you yourself could get some tips as well. As because most of these slots are dated. Over time better ways have been found to manipulate the machine. In the way it is played . Thank you for your reply, I didn’t see it as rude. Just wondered why. That’s all.
It may seem trivial, but when you're totally immersed and invested in a show/movie just to be presented with obvious anachronisms, kind of ruins the whole experience 😅
I mind watching the movie legend about the krays there was a scene in a bar there was a fruit machine in it thou its meant to be in the 60s think the machine was an ace project machine mate 🍉🍉🍉

Every time i see a FM in a pub etc of a show, they are never actually played real, just attract mode or demo mode etc... i wonder why

May be the props department did not know where to go to find actual fruit machines of that era.

Obviously its rare but i have seen pubs where the same machine has sat there for 15+ years. Not impossible
