Did a vid on this last year as went through a number of machines to try emptiers and discovered this then, glad my vid was put to good use😉 Also found empties on Sevens and Melons, Rags to Riches and a skew of others.

Would give unlimited repeats when traded £3 jackpot for unlimited nudge chance on smash and grab chance unless you hit smash but would only give you 1 chance on th£4 version and like someone else said when nudges full bank 13 nudges and if u win to 2 then cancel them back over to get unlimited nudges and on some versions when traded cash for nudges it would put them into piggy bank and not put them on right hand side to do the smash and grab for them

Agree to a point that the Smash / Grab has to be based on a true 50/50 otherwise the compensators would make it Smash every time regardless of how many times you plugged it. Cheers for the video. I used to own a clone of the later version of this (Hit the Top)

When you fill the trail and got the 14 nudges you should save them all except one and then gamble the one nudge. If it loses you still have 13 banked, if it wins and you have 2 nudges you just press cancel button and it adds your nudges from pot to the trail giving you unlimited nudges.

Interesting video. I worked in an arcade for a year in the mid eighties. Anyone plugging, sparking or strimming machines was straight out the door.

Nice to see the emptier done! :) You didn't always need access to the plug, a lot of machines could be reset with a 'clicker', easy ones to source were the piezo electric ignitors from gas lighters. So then you'd scratch though paint in a small area on the machine to get to a (grounded) metal part, and then you could cause the machine to reset that way by 'sparking' it (without needing access to the cable/plug).

I nearly commented right at the start saying why aren't you plugging it lol.i had one of these in the arcade i was in every day for 5 years lol. Only trouble was it was the only token machine in the arcade. Had a goldmine £2 jackpot also which was also pluggable. Goldmine paid a jackpot after every reset within about £1. Video suggestion you've done a £5 cabin fever empty before or was in grand blaster cash? Was also getting ziggy with it. Why don't you do the £25 empty it was a much better game. Still it was alot harder to do you did need a bit of skill to do it.

Yeah, had a decent £55 ish win, came off then went back on later for a £90 win. Something in my mind at the time, that they can still go on after, in fact I remember the first of the 2nd time up, it came down after £2 then flickered and went back up and then went mental. Was in a decent arcade where the machines were on 90%.

There's absolutely no way that these nudge set ups weren't put in deliberately by Astra. Big Ten/Double Cash/Pay it again all had nudge set ups. Big ten and double cash/ pay it again had different nudge set ups. It was up to the player to learn and understand this.

Great video mate. I left a few comments correcting a few things you said but as always, it was in love,lol. Love your videos, and love it when it’s a machine I know a bit about. Did notice that while you playing on auto play it was actually doing the nudge “ tricks “. So if Xs were 4 nudges away it would nudge twice and let it time out so it gave the extra nudge for the Xs!!!! That’s pretty cool. You could learn all the different set ups just by playing on auto and paying attention. I must say, I did think it was £10 when started but was second guessing myself. In my mind I could see the £10 jackpot symbol BUT wondered if it was something they did AFTER the £15 jackpot. They did make an £8 cash jackpot version but pretty sure they did that later. And the nudge “ trick” , I always thought that it was programmed in to make people THINK they were getting an edge. After all, the amount of time there is a jackpot trick available and it doesn’t nudge makes me think that it knows exactly what it’s doing. The time out thing is funny coz I found that out years ago the hard way . And yes, it still works😜😜😜 There is also a nudge hold for no win that gives jackpot. I’m not sure how many people know what I’m talking about but it works on the older £25 versions I have near me. This does not work on the newer WOW cab!! OMG!!!!! There is a party time in my local arcade that can't go up, you can always tell as the machine when playing alone the top box is in attract mode constantly where as if a slave can go up once credits are being played the machines tops box will come out of attract mode

Did you not know about the nugde tricks that used to be a good money maker even if it wasn't been to great. The original bullion bars on £25 was a good 1 for me had some big bullion streaks like £150/£160.

Party times and party time arenas don’t have feature/top box waiting modes. Only one unit can go up at a time, other units just will never go up or wait. Party games started the feature waiting or busy concept.

It was more like 2010 / 2011 when the leisure closed down in strand street. in the earlier years i recall them having an 8 slave party time arena in there that slowly moved to a 6 slave.

A guy called John 'Jack' Jones worked for Ace as an engineer. Then he started JPM on his own, which he sold and retired. Being bored he started up again with Astra, so creating two highly successful fruit machine companies. Think he was from Wales.

whilst there was wins off of 'hidden' nudges by letting them time out on the middle & right reels, how about an identical ram + gam comparison vid to see if they made any difference or if the machine would have gave you the same win via a let em spin if you manually nudged it yourself where it would be one short? I'm sure long term taking the wins made zero difference as they're not free or anything & they were about as secret as 'hold 3 times for a win' type info

I'm sure there was some rip on one of the multi machines. But it was so long ago I can't remember. Think it was fixed quickly on most .if I see my mate, I'll see if he can remember.

They don’t trigger at same time mate. On the newer ones , things like bullion bars etc do que the players but party times do not que. if someone is on the top game you cannot trigger your machine to go up. Most players will just not play while the other person is playing out their top game. When they get kicked out of top game the other player will then start to play again. Great video though mate. They really do have major differences between different machines. There is one on £5 Jp in my local arcade and it cannot retrigger UNLESS certain conditions are met. If you get up on top game and only have 1 credit left people usually rush to stick another £1 in but instead you should just put 10p in at a time. You want no credits left when it kills you then put 10p in and it can reflash. Also, if you hit the bank limit whilst on top , it won’t payout until you leave top game , it then auto pays out and can reflash.( send you to the top again). Like I say, this is just on the one in my arcade, I’m not saying this applies to all party times. It’s just funny how different they can play even though they are the same machines!! These party times could give u a bonus nudge... on the last nudge dont use it, and sometime it would nudge the middle reel twice... if u left nudge for possible line hit on the left reel for say like bars. it would nudge it all the way round like 14 times but stop one short. very weird they can be..
