Like I've said before Michelin light truck tires have been sh*t for decades. I would be worried those tires blowing out or doing a zipper on the highway they sure in the hell don't seem to be very strong tires. Keep getting holes in them weakens the casing, one will finally let loose and it probably won't be a happy ending.

It's not the truck or tires it's where you drive them. OEM tires are made for manufacturers to be lightweight, get good gas mileage, and be quiet. If you want good tires upgrade to E-Load Range that has double the amount of side wall and surface protection. With that you get a heavy tire that will drag down performance and worsen your gas mileage, it's your choice but it is absolutely not the truck or tire's fault.

Since you're the one building those gravel roads, what you need to do is . . .
as you spread out the rocks you have to put the sharp side down.
The other option of course would be, tell the rock quarry they need to put the gravel in a tumbler to knock off all the sharp edges so you have smooth stones for the base.
