Hey Cap, I've commented this many times, but my search for every chest rig, vest, and plate carrier in the color orange has continued. For plate Carriers: Templar's Gear sell their carriers in blaze orange For chest rigs/vests: GNNFIC Orange Hunting Vest (Cannot find a purchase link), SAR Vests (from SAR-1), Hunting Vest Orange Molle System (from Metal Badge), Blaze Orange Tactical Vest (from Outdoor King), and the Over/Under Vest (from Chief Upland)
bit of an odd ask but have you come across chest rigs, vests or carriers in white? ive heard it called alpine but i cant find any place online that sells it.
@@Mgtowhonesty There is a ton of places that do Multicam Alpine and Kryptek Yeti. It'd be hard to find cheaper options, though I'm willing to look for you
@@Mgtowhonesty That's a really cool loadout idea. But, I do have to tell you to not get your hopes up, because Alpine isn't popular for gear. People just tend to use Crye Overwhites with Multicam plate carriers
I'm glad my suggestion for the Alpha Trooper was helpful! Again, no real reason why the lock should have failed, but you've probably stress tested the internals more than any one person.
What a phenomenal video!!! I really hope we get more of these loadout videos in the future!! The editing, the voiceover, and the length of the vid is just *chefs kiss*
That intro looked like it was a lot of fun to film. Love the loadout. Adding up the cost in my head just hurts, but it's awesome to see the progression to see how we can pick up one piece at a time and keep the cost at any one time reasonable. Looking forward to your next one!
Great video, I love all the variations you can have based off your needs! Although I'm a bit curious, do you happen to know which pouches you're using on your drop leg panels with your Pewpews to hold talons? I'm really liking how the tops of the mags are just under the tips of your fingers!
im actually glad to see youre mixing regular ammo types in some configurations. my loadout runs the same way just a bit scaled down. i use an ecs-10 (the OG modulus) as my primary with seven 22 dart mags as a primary and a nightingale as a sidearm with 6 mags.
@@Fool408 im going to guess you dont use the same primary lol. not a lot of people use the modulus, probably the least used stryfe clone ive come across. i like it because i can attach tri-strike attachments for every ammo type onto one blaster and it still functions the same. the gale so it fires just like my primary if i need to switch to sidearm.
Hey Captain, could I suggest looking at your CQC loadouts? Close quarters fighting doesn't get mentioned much in the hobby, but given most stock-standard Nerf guns' ranges, most engagements happen at this range
Another fantastic video! Which takes longer, changing through all the different configurations just for a two second clip, or editing them all into a seamless sequence?? The voice over with live reactions was excellent!
Love this video. It's a shame that full-length darts have become a pain to find in the UK now. I may have to work out a heavy half dart loadout. Cannot wait to see you do a cowboy style loadout.
Sir! I have decided on my side mounted for my nexus a modular Nerf dog ball launcher. Sidearms are going to be a barricade and a ultra two back up mega hammershot Custom Kronos something with my knockout. Depending on the game double outlaws or double elite, 2.0 trailBlazers. Is it a beneficial thing to have two primaries? I want to make a proton pack fed version of the character crosshairs rifle from Star Wars the bad batch I’m going to invert the colors of his armor, so green with black accents should I use a Hera? I want it to be true to the show so it’s going to be semi auto. I’m thinking since my Nexus is shorter, have it on a cavalry saddle ring. For stock games it will be a Unmoded Artemis. Oh, and one more thing just for all loadouts, a night fairy tail on a very soft stick. Just because really.
This is insanely awesome!!! I cant believe how many loadouts you have from the intro...loved the squire i was in tears good tears that is. It was a really great run down of your HVZ loadouts and i could not believe how many options you have for it, was it too many?? Noo no no not at all dont be silly, it was fantastic!!! Excited to build up my very own loadouts, right now im running a very very basic loadout and only one....need more money hmmmm. Thanks very much for the vid Captain X your an inspiration to me 🫡👊
I still need to get some brightly coloured vests. I LIKE my samurai gear I got years ago, but the black plate carrier it attaches to isn't the most "I am a player in a game, not an armed shooter," thing out there
Those upper pouches look like the Worker triple mag pouches. They're sized to hold 15 round and 18 round talons, and can hold rival 12 round mags pretty comfortably!
my only real complaint with this; is the full length choice with the optional pewpews AND a proton pack. that's entirely too many ammo types to manage IMO. switch to a short dart FDL would minimize the magazines and thin out the loadouts size and weight while not really removing capacity. if you dont wanna do kodas theres 18 round bananas so its a 4 dart difference which is like 2 less mags if you kept the same quantity.
Over the 4 or 5 years that I have been running this loadout in this configuration that suggestion has occurred to me, has been suggested several times, and has been tested several times, and yet I have still chosen to stick with this configuration. See if you can work out why. ;)
@CaptainXavier lol that's fair. I've run into issues with ammo compatibility and teammates doing the same and over loading themselves. You're a beefy guy like me so I get being able to carry it. Just my own 2 cents lol
Yeah, it all comes down to preference and play style. I am an old man with bad knees and a bad back. I can't run, especially not in gear. So I plod. As such, I can get away with a heavier loadout. I also prefer to have a variety of ammo types so I can lend or borrow mags to or from anyone.
@CaptainXavier haha that's fair and not a terrible idea. Gear synergy has always done me well and now run 20 talons and a basic with a magnus or other small mega blaster for specials. I can run well either so carrying as much as efficiently as possible has been my goal
Fun fact: the Elite Hyperfire can be topped off through the jam door without removing the magazine, albeit a bit awkwardly, so it would make a great primary for a scavenging focused HvZ build.
You know what this video is missing? A runway.
When I read this I thought you meant a runway for a plane and thought “vehicles aren’t HvZ legal” 😋
@@dylancooper4993 LOL
That would be cool, a quick-detach button to loose almost all the gear so one can run away. For "tactical recovery" of course.

Changing loadouts. We spent about 3 hours filming for those few seconds. Editing wasn't hard at all.

How long does it take to stash your stuff when you get tagged. Do you have to go all the way to staging to change bands?
Hvz looks so much fun, everyone just simply bring as much blasters as they can to dumpas much ammo as they can, pity i dont get a chance to try.
Awesome 😎
Haven’t watched your videos for a while. Did something happen to Eir?
No. EIR is fine. Why do you ask?
I don’t think I’ve seen the mega xl Kronos, is there a video out or planned for it
Yes. Just search my channel for "mega XL kronos"

Almost certainly not.
I would like to know why you still use full length. i still use it, but im curious why.
Because my FLD-3 takes full lengths. And because the ammo is cheaper.
we now need a Juggernaut loadout

I mean I bought it a long time ago and no longer have the source.

Do you know if anyone has done dual proton jupeters from a single proton pack
Not that I am aware of. Both OOD and I have built dual setups but we both used 2 full builds, just in the same backpack.
